Sony 16-35mm GM II Lens First Look

Here is my first look at the Sony full frame 16-35mm G master second generation lens. This lens is smaller and lighter than its predecessor, but does that make it better?

I have used this lens for 3 months. Wow what a great lens. I will be selling my 20mm 1.8 to help with the cost. Ha. Paired with my a7rv. Magic.

I'm most definitely looking forward to hearing more about your experiences with this lens. Currently, I'm only using primes on my A7RV (24 GM, 40 G, 50 GM 1.2, and 135 GM). I want something wider and more flexible, but not sure yet if I want to sacrifice the experience of these amazing prime lenses.

20% weight reducing to an already lightweight Gen 1 is not a game changer. 🤣 come on now. Is it that hard to be unbiased? It's a great lens but no need to upsell. It's an incremental update dude no matter how you spin it.
