They did so well, because i see the touch of SNSD here. Genie is not a cute song, its more like mysterious-husky vibe. Even Sunny voice was way more deeper in this song because it has low notes and these girls make justice for Genie. Gorgeous and talented.
Genie is actually classy sexy.
I just figured out why the stand out to me from the other girl groups. Their voices are much deeper, not the typical kpop gg with high pitch singing voice! They're refreshing to listen too

It's always fun seeing SNSD being honored by younger groups with covers of their songs. Even with good covers, it also reminds one of how unique the original group was and how they really influenced K-pop.

@@lucyroberts4110 there is a reason they were/are so successful, even if they have plastic surgeries on them, they look and sound different from each other and their ps are not that extreme. Other groups, like this one from this video, have them seem generic and their ps taken to the extreme. Not good.

Of course their voices are different as they are not GG. Each human has their own set unique vocal chords. Although some may sound the same but there is always that slight difference.

i think they were supposed to debut originally when chungha debuted, and it got delayed so the company could focus on chungha's career =)

If girl groups emphasized on girl crush concept, most of gg look like senior group I can tell you, the past gg normally start their debut with cute concept which was not so mature concept

Sorry but this is the best cover of genie I've ever heard or seen. This song is HARD to sing live and I hold it to such a high standard that it's easy to see when these new girl groups be slacking when they try to preform genie. Like if your gonna cover one of Girls Generation's best song you better do it justice and HOLY FREAK DID THEY DO IT JUSTICE. I'm very impressed. I'm a SONE and i am speechless... Even though they didn't sing live, i think this is the best "Genie" cover i've ever seen! They made the song theirs. Honestly, if i didn't know this song and someone told me this song is from BVNDIT, based on this performance, i would believe!

I just discovered them from the kcon tact when they performed Psycho. I am amazed by how they sing, not a typical group from this generation. They don't have the irritating singing pitch. I felt that I'm watching a gg coming from SM while watching them.

Dude I've seen covers of Genie from other Kpop girl groups especially from the 3rd and 4th gen K-pop idols but this is the best cover so far!! These girls killed this cover!! And I don't even know who they are but just because of this amazing cover, I'm gonna start following them and stanning them!! I'm a huge SNSD fan and 2nd gen K-pop idol groups as a whole!!
I'm sone and their performance is impressive. Usually when a group covers SNSD, they always lack of something. It just doesn't feel right but these girls nailed it.
as a huge fan of Genie, I can honestly say they are the only group so far that pulled off the arm twist/spin move nicely (albeit not exactly the same as SNSD - you'll know what I'm talking about when you see the dance practice & live version of Genie) but they definitely pulled this performance well. kudos to BVNDIT!

They're only 5 and they still managed to give one of the best covers of this song. To me that's very impressive. The stage did not feel empty at all. I know there are back up dancers but I talk about their charisma, vocals, etc. They have enough diversity in their vocals and enough presence to fill a song like this.
