    Those rates are outrageous. Geezer in some cases the fee a parent pays for one student is more than the salary of a foreign teacher.

    That Australian professor is lying. All international arrivals must quarantine in hotels like what Vietnam is doing. Only arrivals from different states within Australia may quarantine at home.

    VIetnam Airline charges each person 5,000 usd or more for a ticket to Vietnam from overseas. Where is the strike for this overcharged?

      @@duongglobalbusinessconsulting so why VN airline charges so much money during Covid . They should be reducing the price to help those in need to return to VN . Rather they jack up the price . As a matter of fact , everything goes up in prices so it is reasonable for the school to raise up the price . It would be nice to keep the price steady for everything. But it’s not the case .

    Thousands of English teachers have gone home or are going home . You will not have any 100% English teachers in Vietnam, your children’s education program will be greatly affected .

      Not really ; got bunch of vietnamese who study in america ( highest number in southeast asian and 2 in Asia or 3 in Asia behind china and India only ; same thing for england ; Australia ; new Zealand ; they are now return and doing part time job teaching some have finish and mean time while waiting to find they job they work as teacher ; if it was 15 year ago sure we are fuk but not now

    Hang on! Students in communist VN go to the temples, churches, etc, to pray for good luck before the university entrance exam? Isn’t that superstition? AND i thought commies and religions don’t mix. Praying doesn’t help, you need to work your butts off. Gods and Buddhas do not reward lazy students. Do sons and daughter of commie/VC officials still have a head start in the exams or free entry into uni? Can you still buy a degree in VN?

      Actually its common not just in Vietnam but seen it in practice all over Korea and other parts of Asia. Weather it works are not, doesn't matter, it's more s culture norm.

      @@olivereckert2492 I have known that since about 2012. Visited must 2010 to 12. Moved in 19, married in 20. I do feel more free in vn than usa. Saying that, most Americans are dependent on USA welfare so wouldn't leave. Dependent on gov.
