Very nice new clothes. That sounds like a productive morning. That sounds like a great idea to take a break from the shellack. Doing a weekly journal sounds better. Not doing impulse purchasing sounds like a great idea as well. Very nice picture collage.

Elyse Myers did the letter to yourself, but it was to your past self rather than future self.
I stopped with nail polish because it made my nails brittle but I was changing the colour weekly!🤣 So my partner bought me nail strengthener which made a world of difference.
I have actually seen Halara ads on Facebook 😂 they hit my algorithm because I was buying tennis/running skirts from Bara Sportswear! Love my running skirts. The skirts with the shorts on underneath are also great for cycling too!

As someone else mentioned, cuticle oil used regularly is key to getting your nails healthy. You will have to grow out a whole new nail to replace the areas damaged by pulling off your shellac. Use a good conditioning nail polish remover instead. Keep your hands moisturized as well. Love your collage and new clothes!

❤ loving the bullet journal. I've just started bullet journaling and I absolutely love it. I love all my page layouts but I think the pages I like the most are inspiration, things I loved during the month and things to check out. Inspiration I do general page layout and write on it like you're signing a yearbook page. Include quotes that I like, page ideas, or anything that gives me inspiration. The things I love I wrote boxes for and I track TV, movies, products, places, books, etc that I loved for the month. Then used same format for things to check out, TV, books, movies, places, etc. I have bad memory and so this reminds me of things I liked so I can recommend and things I want to check out so I don't forget.

Looking forward to hearing how heading back to school went and what courses you'll be taking. I love how your hair is growing back in and you look fab in the new clothing pieces, plus it all looks so comfy. Cheers from here in Summerville, SC, and stay warm, Jess and everyone! We're even getting frigid-for-us temps here in the southeast US.🌬❄

It’s amazing watching you get back into your normal life again.
As for your nails, pulling off the gel basically pulls off a layer of your nail so they really suffer. Get yourself some cuticle oil and use it every day if you remember after every time you get your hands wet ❤ ❤

fingernails: buff with very fine grit of a buffing block (6/$12from Amazon) to smooth surface then one layer of Essie smooth-e vegan ridge filling almost matte polish. I use that to thicken the thin nails that were stripped by the polish like what you picked off. Nails that we see are what they are and don’t “heal” but new growth from the nail bed and matrix can be treated and will grow out healthier. So smoothing the surface and adding a layer of base coat gives the nails strength until new growth shows.

I totally understand the impulse buying idea. I’m a cross stitcher and quilter and was very guilty of that with those hobbies. I have waited or maybe I haven’t had the extra $ at that time. Some things I totally remember and others I’ve completely forgotten. It definitely is the way to go!

I would look into some cuticle oil and try painting it on your nails and around the cuticles as often as you can (daily or weekly) and let that really soak into the nails, personally I like to massage in the oil.

Good to see you -- are you going to show us your Guelph world, where you live, what courses you're taking and why. What will your degree enable you to do? What is your new normal at school or is it the same as before? Writing a letter to your future self is a terrific idea -- might try that myself - we're moving soon and I get tangled up in all the things that have to be done. About your nails - I have psorasis and used to really love wearing different colours etc. There is a brand of nail polish (I can't remember the name) that I got from a spa beside a dermatologist. It lets oxygen pass thru and get to your nails despite having polish on. Expensive but it got rid of the lines/grooves in my nails. Helped a lot. Stay warm in our lovely (?) winter weather.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
