All are so lovely on you. Your sewing and teaching skills are impeccable. One of my favorite go-to channels for sure. Thank you for all you do to provide the sewing community with excellent videos.
I think my favourites are the Betty in the tropical print and the Flawesome, but you look great in everything! You obviously have a great sense of colours and patterns that suit you. Thanks for all the twirls.
I feel the same way about dresses as you do! I really enjoy wearing dresses and skirts even though I may look more formal than those around me. Perhaps my inspiration was American day and night time soap operas in which the main characters were always dressed up to the nines! Who knows?! In any case, I appreciate how you draw our attention to all of the different bodices out there and what we can pay attention to in order to get the best fit. Thank you! :)
Hello Karina, just lovely thank you. I have thoroughly enjoyed your videos from Chile and meeting your beautiful family. You have helped me immensely with my sewing thru the year. Looking forward to next year and many more of your videos. You are so delightful and inspiring to watch. Happy New Year to you and your family. Much love from Tasmania Australia
Loved seeing all your beautiful dress makes. It is sad that dresses have gone out of fashion in general. They are so much more attractive (and versatile) than pants and tops all the time. Don’t know how you can choose what to wear with so many options.
Amazing job! Love the collection! I like that you and I are close in size so I can get a feel for how they might look on me. You look beautiful in all the dresses and I like all your special adaptations. Best to you!
You do a wonderful job on making these videos even though the Roundup must be complicated. Love the commentary and glimpses into your life. You are just such a talented joy to learn sewing techniques.
This type of video is very welcome. I appreciate the different groups too, (tops, dresses, pants etc) very easy to watch and to choose perhaps something to try. More than this however your clear and professional descriptions of the patterns and materials is very much appreciate -and - the bonus of "sew alongs" too. All your hard work to bring us these videos is gratefully received. xx Happy New Year!
I think this is the first of your videos I've watched, and wow, lots of inspiration : I prefer to make and wear dresses too, so loads of patterns added to the list! Thank you!
It’s 11:46 pm in Canada and watching this video is such a treat. Two vids in one day…how lucky are we! I feel like sewing now, but will wait until tomorrow. You look absolutely lovely in your dresses.
I love dresses! I didn't wear them much when my kids were little (not really practical for being on the floor a lot). I am a preschool teacher and now I wear dresses with leggings pretty much all year round (capri length leggings in the warm weather). They are so versatile. I love your channel and you inspire me! I love seeing the different cultures around the world from my sewing friends.
After looking at all these dresses, I’m absolutely amazed at how well they all fit. No matter the style, details, or lines, your modifications make them all fit perfectly. Nice job.
Oh I really enjoyed seeing your dresses. I’m kind of waiting on some fabric. So for the time being I’m fixing some things that just didn’t look all that great. I think I’ve saved 3 pants out of 4. The 4th one will be cut up and probably make bias tape with it. Those dresses were such inspiration. I haven’t made a dress yet but I’m ready to jump in.
Karina I always enjoy warching your videos....i get loads and loads of inspiration on what styles would fit me great cause u and I are shaped almost the same i am just shorter so I say if it looks good on you it will on me..lol....so now I have a list of patterns I want to purchase ....keep up the great work and have a blessed 2022
Hello Karina, Really enjoy all of your videos; great looking garments and excellent instructions. Love your fabric choices; where do you purchase your fabrics?
What a beautiful collection of dresses. They all suit you so well. I have a few I’d like to have a go at. One of them being the lyric dress. I think I have the pattern already. Happy New Year.
I really enjoyed seeing all your lovely dresses and it has given me lots of inspiration. Thank you Karina. I would love to make the Tessa shift dress. I have some lovely patterned stretch velvet/velour with a good 30% horizontal stretch but there is no vertical stretch at all. Do you think this would work or should I look for a two-way stretch? Would love your opinion please.
Such an inspiring video! You have made quite a collection here. I love them all, but the Flawsome dress looks especially AWESOME on you. So simple yet so flattering and modern. I don’t wear many dresses, but that one I could manage.
I notice at 18:49 (and several other times) you mention there is no reason to not turn a top pattern into a dress. However, I think that depends on a woman's figure type. For instance, I am very, very pear shaped, with a hip size that usually 3+ sizes bigger than my top size. I could really never turn a top into a dress simply by adding length. I would always need to add tons of width to the lower abdomen/hip/thigh area, so I couldn't possibly get a straight hem. The only way I could do it would be to put in a waist seam and then have a very gathered skirt attached at the waist. I think your figure type seems much easier to sew for. I'm jealous! haha
It would really be great if you could leave time stamps or a list of the names of the dresses that you made. I want to find a particular dress but I wasn’t taking notes throughout so I don’t remember the name of the dress I’ll have to watch the video again. Love your videos just found you within the last two weeks and will continue to watch your channel.
I made this playlist with all the dresses in this video. You can see the photos of the patterns you like on the thumbnails and then there’s the whole video about them for you. ruclips.net/p/PLwk5xT21q_c1rfjMvsTmTHCYeRSZGQ1_O
Hi! have you made the Sinclair Iris raglan sleeve dress? if so I would love to see a picture! I am looking for a raglan sleeve dress pattern, but with more of a pencil type skirt and not a big flair at bottom. any suggestions?
Greetings Pauline, I’m in the US and I have many of these patterns. Most originate from the US, but buying from other countries is not a problem. Karina has links in the drop down under the video. Just follow the link to the pattern company’s website, make yourself an account, login and shop. These patterns are PDF, you don’t get a printed paper pattern. So you purchase the download onto your computer and print off on your home printer. These pattern companies all have clear instructions on how to do this and there are many instructional RUclips videos also.
I have a question about it fabric. It’s thin and drapy but I can’t stand it I warm weather. It doesn’t breathe and it sticks to me. Do you have a suggestion?
I rarely wear dresses in Washington state, but in Southern California, it is warmer and I wear dresses much more frequently.
All are so lovely on you. Your sewing and teaching skills are impeccable. One of my favorite go-to channels for sure. Thank you for all you do to provide the sewing community with excellent videos.
Thank you! Your fitting is lovely, as are you, Karina!
I think my favourites are the Betty in the tropical print and the Flawesome, but you look great in everything! You obviously have a great sense of colours and patterns that suit you. Thanks for all the twirls.
Very nice collection of comfortable yet beautiful dresses.
What an amazing array of dresses.
The Camilla cowl looks like something I want to make for those days when you need to wear a dress but you don’t want it fitted all the way down.

Thank you for these summaries. My work has my sewing time limited and your reviews help me to plan my spring and summer projects.
So many beautiful dresses among those, and some stunning fabrics too.
Now i just need to nip off and buy a couple of those patterns!
I love all the dresses. Thank you for showing us how to make tops into dresses
I love doing that! It’s usually unavoidable for me 😀😀
Once again, a truly inspirational video. Beautiful dresses. I learn so much from you. Thank you.
So pretty, pretty sewist. You're lovely in each dress. Wonderful talent on display. Thank you. ~ L
Gracious! YOU are a human sewing machine! The DRESS styles, colors, fit, and your fabric choices look great on you.

Yes, she’s HUGE 😀
Hermoso trabajo! Love your work and I too enjoy dresses and dressing up. I just did my first dress from a blouse pattern, imagination is the limit!
Yay! That’s amazing :)

Gorgeous! Love them all, thank you I'm off to check out Love Notions patterns x
Absolutely love wearing dresses/skirts. The BIG problem is finding shoes; I wear a 10.5 narrow. There are none available in the US.
What a great bunch of videos

Fabulous dresses. But can someone please tell me what is ITY?
Interlock twisted yarn

If it’s not stretch it’ll most likely be a polyester type of weave.
