It's not nearly the same rate as legendaries at all but is theorized to be boosted over full odds, yes.
I have a 0/0/0 Rotom from go event ( I guess 2 years ago) which is actually crazy rare, since rotom was not a wild spawn. You could only got them through photo bomb. And because this Pokémon came never back since, there were exactly 5 chances to get this Pokémon 🤣🤣

That was a super fun vid. I’d love to see more! I always wondered about those shiny costume Pikas that were never released as shiny, like Detective Pikachu. Was it really possible to find a shiny Pokémon, wait until the event started and have it turn to that Pika? Or get that Pika right before the event ended and have the game see a different shiny Pokémon once the event ended but it stayed that Pika because you kept it on the catch screen?!

Fun fact about the libre Pikachu: it was originally thought to be a hoax when before it was actually confirmed to be shiny in season 6. The rarest variant then was a confirmed shiny libre with a 2020 tag, considering you only had a very small time window to get to the top rankings and roll for a chance at shiny libre before 2021 started. Even crazier is that for an EVEN SMALLER window, the holiday cup also started at the very end of December, so it was possible to get a 2020 shiny libre Pikachu with a holiday cup GBL tag if you somehow did all of this in the last 24 to 48 hours of 2020 when it initially became available. Obviously almost noone thought to do that considering none had actually been confirmed by Silph up to that point. Except for ONE. It is now a lucky, and while not a shundo, is nearly perfect lol

I can’t believe the shiny rate for the legendary dogs was one in 120. I only saw two. One raiku and a shiny suicune. I thought it was like 1 in ten
I just wish I was playing when these legendaries was out. Now it's so hard to get them nobody will trade them or I never have enough stardust for the trade.
I was under the impression they would just flee instantly and it was just a reference to the main games. I ended up not checking and catching them because I thought you were unable to catch them🥲

I had no idea that a 0% iv shadow Pokémon was rare. I had a couple after coming back to the game since 2018. I checked the IVs seen that they were 0 and just scraped them. Now I run into this video and learned I had gold in my hands and just tossed into the trash
Shadow 0% isn't rare. Same chance as a normal wild spawn.
I hatched a shundo togepi with a flower crown. I was pretty psyched when I heard we could finally evolve then during the last Easter event.

I actually have a shiny Togepi I hatched a few weeks ago. I didn’t think it was rare because I was never super heavy into POGO. It was an egg I got about a year ago, only recently started playing again and decided to start hatching the excess eggs.

I think some time ago another youtuber also included in the list a traded shadows and traded deoxys, shadows can't be traded anymore while deoxys was never supposed to be traded to begin with, so you could only trade it for like some hours before the bug got fixed
At go fest this year I was able to catch a level 1 shiny klink. Only way to get them outside of this is from raids & eggs being 10/10/10 so very happy with this rare pokemon. Also got a shadow hundo arbok which was only available from meowth balloons
Someone on Reddit posted a video about their 0/0/0 Raikou which was catched during Johto Tour, incense spawn.
Edit: Surely Shiny Detective Pikachu is the rarest Pokemon there is? It was avaible like 15 minutes before getting removed. Or atleast its more rarer than 1/20 chance Pika Libre.

Shiny detective pikachu was actually confirmed and is POSSIBLE for more than one. These have technically yet to be confirmed.
Nice video topic! I really appreciate that Lv1 pokemons are given some love, especially as I work myself on one of the most ridiculous collection in this matter (600 shiny lucky Lv1 pokemons in male/female, with costumes, legacy moves, ...)
However! there's quite a few details in your video that I'd like to address:
- in Lv1 legendaries, you can also find latios/latias from photobombs during a recent Okinawa event.
- level 1 are most of the time not 10cp, it really depends on the pokemon. for exemple a magikarp Lv2 can be 10cp, and a slaking Lv1 can't go much lower than 60cp.
- shadow pokemons had a set level at their introduction to the game. it was 1-5 or 6-11 with weather boosts
- shadow pokemons could be traded during the first 2 days or so. I have myself a Lv1 shadow squirtle from a trade. Also lucky shadow pokemon would be some next level myth ;)
- I'm pretty sure shiny pikachu libre is not full odds at all (correct me if I'm wrong)
- Are spawns always 30min? I've read somewhere it could also be 15 and 45. But maybe this changed ?
- Lv1 accounts cannot be created anymore, the xp gain on catchs increased, and since you can't access to pokestops nor friendlist before catching your starter pokemon, you get to Lv2 now. Also you could have up to 9 Lv1 eggs from friendlist, or also do a mix with only 8 + an attempt on a pokestop (you get the egg before the xp gain so it's still a Lv1 egg). On a side note I've seen a screenshot of a shlundo Lv1 riolu a while ago, pretty cool :D

So is it not possible to get a level 1 baby Pokemon anymore?? Bcz If I catch the starter Pokemon it puts my account to level 2.
In 2020, Smoochum with a bow was available in field researches. I somehow forgot to encounter the research reward. I was inactive in that account for very long. In 2022, few months ago, I managed to claim the reward, and the Smoochum didn't have a bow. I think this is rare, because baby Pokémon are exclusive to eggs, and when Smoochum was available in research, it had a bow. So catching a non-costume baby was something I enjoyed a lot ❤

The first one is possible for spoofers, they can just just track those with the app. And then snipe them, if they are 0/0/0: just wait 2 hours and you have one. It will probaly take a while, but for a grinder surely possible. But the snipe feature is only unlocked for paid PGsharp spoofers. So yeah, the last one is a big grind but possible.

I have CAUGHT a WILD Azelf, with 2 other people, one ran away. I didn't know it was that rare. Also got Pikachu Libre a couple times, no shiny. Got Hundo Tyrantrum yesterday.
After watching this video, I feel quite happy that I have a Shundo Azuril. Not level 1, but it was my first Shundo Pokémon ✌😁.

I have a 100% IV shadow machop and a 100% IV purified Ralts and I actually caught it recently when I came back to this game back in June and caught them from a couple team rocket grunts.
I would say that my 3 rarest pokemon that are no longer obtainable are shundo celebi (caught on December 25th of 2020) since shiny celebi has only been available once and I got it both on the time where it was released and as a hundo, too. My second rarest is an accidental Sawk, which is accidental because niantic accidentally released sawk and throh in the wrong places when they came out for like a day. When that day came, I actually got one (not a hundo though)! My 3rd rarest is a hundo genesect from the first genesect release.
I remember the Western/Eastern Hemisphere error lol. That's when I caught my first Sawk before they had GO Fest and flipped/added all spawns in for a short time.

I have a Throh caught in the Southern Hemisphere, I remember waking up one day, seeing Throh nearby and instantly getting out of bed to try and go for it.

I have a nundo normal castform that I must have caught in either cloudy or windy weather, since it only receives the boost in partly cloudy weather.
My best hatched egg is a shundo Deino, and I decide to evolved it into Hydreigon, and then not long after that Deino com day takes place 😅
I'm surprised you didn't mention lucky Deoxys, since during a short time period, whether a glitch or not, Deoxys was available for trading, so that means you could've gotten lucky Deoxys. And crazy enough, that actually exists! However, a lucky Deoxys with the lowest IV possible should be even rarer! And I don't think anyone has that.

I have a wild caught shundo libre!
I believe wild caught (not traded for) makes it even rarer, since a lucky trade or a best friend trade has much higher IV floors. Hit Legend every season and was lucky to catch one a couple seasons ago.

It is impossible to hatch an egg at level 1.
Because to get an egg you have to open a gift and if you open a gift then you become level 1 friends or the base level friends with them and you get 3000xp which means you goes to level 2 se it’s impossible to hatch an egg at level 1.
In short your last rarest Pokémon will never come in Pokémon go.
You could just delete the friend before you get the credit. I've seen level 1 shiny babies before.

you would get the egg before the xp comes in - and egg will hatch a Pokémon based on when you got it. so if you get the egg at level 1 it will hatch level 1 even if your level 50

I’m surprised having a lucky Pokémon under 10/10/10 ivs isn’t on this list since there was a, around 10min, time frame when lucky Pokémon first came out (before the announcement) when u could obtain a lucky with undetermined ivs. I only know this since I own a lucky aerodactyl with ivs under 10/10/10.

I have a none weather boosted ice castform. It’s not 0/0/0 but 12/1/3. caught it this year in may in Germany. It most definitely did not snow the last few months

I have a rank 150 shadow granbull, a absolutely insane Pokémon to use in great league if you commit two sheiks and use something with acid spray before.
In Pokémon Go, I did have a Shundo Shadow Scizor from Jessie. At the time, I didn’t know that Shadow Pokémon were good so I purified it. It is still a Shundo Scizor but it’s lost value because my younger self purified it.

I found one when I was going to school in New Zealand. It was on campus, I was at my flat. I sprinted to catch Uxie. I didn't know how rare the encounter was, I just knew it was a silhouette that had to be filled

I have a cast form shiny with stats of 9 defense and 1 hp. Is that somewhat rare compared to the 0-0-0 stats you were talking about. Also more inmportantly to me does it mean that the weather bonus changed between spawn and when I caught it or no?
Me and my friends were casually hanging out at one of my friend's houses. My friend opens up PoGo and, with no words, shows us the nearby list. It was an Azelf. The pokestop it was at was 3 blocks away and we ran so fast to get it lol. During the run, I check the nearby again, it was gone. We were so disappointed beause that was probably a once in a lifetime opportunity and I haven't seen a lake Guardian in the wild since then. I'm always checking my nearby every so often.

My closest to this list was a shiny hundo Elekid hatch I got on Electabuzz Com day.
I caught an entie in the wild during johto tour and accidentally transferred it. Never even got to IV check it.
The bit about non-weather-boosted Castform not only applies to 0/0/0, but also rank 1 PvP IVs, considering the attack needing to be 0 and there still being only 1 out of 4096 possible combinations that is that rank 1.
Reminds me of how I encountered a wild Raikou, non-weather-boosted, at 2499 CP, which means it could have potentially been the rank 2 for Ultra League, but it ran after the first throw.
Golden razzberry, ultra ball, great curveball throw, but ran after the first throw just like the other wild legendary spawns I got. Was it rare to catch the wild Legendaries, or was I particularly unlucky throughout?
You were unlucky. People always think that using the best berry with the best ball and the best throw that you're guaranteed to catch it.
You're not, and it's not even close. Your odds with all of the aforementioned and platinum medal are about ~20%
You had a 20% chance of catching that mon. And you didn't.
There's nothing "particularly unlucky" about not winning something you have an 80% chance to flop on.
I saw a guy on the silph road subreddit post during the hoenn global tour that he caught a level 1 shiny nundo latios in the wild. Thats probably the most insane thing ive ever seen

Technically, a nundo shiny Pikachu libre is possible. In the past during battle days, they removed the IV floors on the GBL encounters sonif you caught your pikalibre during the battle day it could be a a nundo. That's a flex.
I caught a hundo level 1 one Shadow chamander but evolve and maxed it to level 50. I didn’t know it was a rare thing at the time!
Pikachu Libre was shiny locked during interlude season though, so it's only 5 checks for it.
Now since theres gbl weekend it’s theoretically possible so get a shnundo libre pikachu

If you click on a pokemon you lock it's cp/IV. If you wait and the weather changes a different cp will be displayed but when you catch and then check your bag the cp will be what it was at first. Found this out with a wild Tirtouga a few years ago. It was a few minutes to whole hour and I waited for a potential re-roll. Weather changed and cp went from 1270 to 1135. When I checked my bag later it was 1270.

Libre was given for free basically twice so far. Once in 2020 and then last season but shiny was disabled last season
In theory you could take the egg concept one step further and hatch a shundo lv1 region-locked baby pokemon like mime jr
Also rare is a lucky shadow Pokémon, I know of someone who has one. At the beginning there was a glitch. Those who were lucky could trade a shadow Pokémon. Getting one as a lucky shadow is super rare

Im going for all perfect IV eevee-lutions and their shiny counterparts, both male and female. Level 50, best buddies, and the best move sets for each. Doubt Im ever gonna get it done but its a dream
But if you open the gift from your friend u get xp for the friendship level. So you cant stay at level 1 with an egg.
