Age 74 here (going on 12 the wife says) and I shall always be grateful for growing up in the generation that I did. I will forever call it a time of innocence. As my time winds down I am grateful for each and every day. Did we ever have great music. Thank you God.

George, I am very glad to hear you thanking God for the music you heard and the astounding things that occurred in that God-protected time and nation.
It is true that many things from the Fifties and Sixties were turned to evil. But despite this, a type of Great Celebration took place, and the ultimate reason for that celebration was annunciation of the Parousia. This is why the beauty and genius was graced by God upon those times.

Anyway, if you think that Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj are better artists than Creedence Clearwater Revival, we'll respect your desicion, although that does not mean that ''Beauty and a Beat'' was a hit, and it was sung by Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj.

There’s something so captivating and mysterious sounding (almost provoking a feeling of some sort of prophetic like introspection, or a ruminative & grandly reflective experience within one’s thoughts, in some ways a quasi-mystical experience) when it comes to the sound of that high opening guitar riff and it’s continuation throughout the song. Kinda provides a grounding and nostalgic or melancholic feeling/vibe to the song.

Along with Cream, The Who, Pink Floyd, Steppenwolf,Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Rolling stones and the Beatles (even though im not a huge fan and they are a little overrated I still respect them).
