Poetry Month was joyfully celebrated at the First Wednesday Series held at the White House Bar in Limerick last night, setting the stage for a month brimming with literary delights. The evening was graced by the presence of our very special guest poet Sandy Yannone, hailing all the way from the US, who captivated the overflowing audience with her mesmerising verses. Sandy's genuine passion for poetry and her connection with the audience created an absorbing atmosphere, leaving an unforgettable mark on everyone present.
The event witnessed a record turnout for the open-mic session, with poets eagerly stepping up to share their heartfelt creations, making it an unforgettable evening of artistic expression. It's no wonder that the First Wednesday Series has become the coveted platform for poetry enthusiasts to showcase their talents. The ambiance was electric, charged with creativity and camaraderie, fostering a sense of community among lovers of the written word.
