Two Young Ladies named Pollyanna and Nicola B quit because they didn't like The "Contracts" while another was let go because she lied about her age named Hazel. If that hadn't happened things would have turned out so differently. The Three Girls who almost didn't get chosen Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle & Kimberley Walsh wouldn't have gotten into the Group known as Girls Aloud. They were the most successful Group not only in The POPSTAR Franchise but the most successful Reality Group in the UK. Yet there was more of a bond that Eden's Crush didn't have. They "all" sang lead while Nicole got the bulk of The Leads.

Some people just aren't "made" to be in a Group. In The Canadian Versions they had some amazing singers but weren't chosen because they were too good to sing in a group. Also they had to look at Demographics. In the UK Girls Aloud had Five White Girls (Four British One Irish), the one who wasn't chosen was named Javine who was Biracial but she was more R & B. If the timing was better she could have been successful like alot of UK R & B Singers like Desiree, Princess, Joyce Sims and Caron Day (Soul To Soul). There were also Two Successful R & B Groups named Honeyz (Who were like En Vogue) and Eternal (Who were like SWV) but due to "Diva Drama" they all broke up.

What usually happens with shows like these is the owner of the group finds one girl that they really like or they think has a marketable appeal- basically who they can get the most money out of- and then they build the group around her, and you can't build a group like that, because you will end up with one girl being the fav and the other girls being jealous. It happened with Destiny's child version 1 with the beyonce thing, it happened to danity kane with the dawn thing.
Diarra Ragland I would argue that Aubrey was the one Diddy tried to build on. He even said it. She’s the star that he built the group on. But she became a little too crazy for him and it ended up being Dawn to be his artist.
when casting a group they usually zero in on one persons sound then they build the group based on tonality so they sound natural when harmonizing. when it comes to having solo in a song it comes down to how much character do you have in your voice not necessarily how much power each member has. there were a few girls that had lead vocal potential but placing them all in a group sonically wouldnt work. i think they were banking on Kerri to be in the group when she left they focused on building a group around Nicole cause she had a more "pop" sound to her voice.

Margaux Yap couldn't stand Nicole Scherzinger apparently while Kerrie Roberts came from a Christian Environment who may have felt uncomfortable singing Songs with "Suggestive Lyrics". It's not as uncommon as you think. In The UK A Young Man named Peter dropped out of the competition on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 because he lied about his age and he couldn't live with himself. He at last report was working as a Custodial Engineer (Janitor). He didn't miss much, One True Voice didn't make it.
Sometimes you go in thinking it's one thing then it could be another I think they felt their intuition was spot on the group is no longer around as much I think Nicole has talent she overshadowed the group it's a group not indiviual solo artist she even had issues in PCD . The long run they made the right decision
Jean took that rejection with so much class and grace and knew exactly what she wanted either way it went. I hope wherever she is in life now, she's doing great. She 100% deserves it.

Is near perfect. What usually happens with shows like these is the owner of the group finds one girl that they really like or they think has a marketable appeal- basically who they can get the most money out of- and then they build the group around her, and you can't build a group like that, because you will end up with one girl being the fav and the other girls being jealous. It happened with Destiny's child version 1 with the beyonce thing, it happened to danity kane with the dawn thing.
Diarra Ragland I would argue that Aubrey was the one Diddy tried to build on. He even said it. She’s the star that he built the group on. But she became a little too crazy for him and it ended up being Dawn to be his artist.

Why did they hold last minute auditions for strong singers only to cut the strongest singer (Shaunda) in the competition? 🤨
when casting a group they usually zero in on one persons sound then they build the group based on tonality so they sound natural when harmonizing. when it comes to having solo in a song it comes down to how much character do you have in your voice not necessarily how much power each member has. there were a few girls that had lead vocal potential but placing them all in a group sonically wouldnt work. i think they were banking on Kerri to be in the group when she left they focused on building a group around Nicole cause she had a more "pop" sound to her voice.
@danitydon22 and in the end, the actual group wasn't even that good live. Every performance I've seen of them has backing tracks and I'm like...five girls need a backing track? Lol. I actually liked some songs on their album but live...not so much.

Performers frequently audition for the sake of auditioning, with the assumption that they won't make it. It's to get the experience of auditioning. It's like how people frequently apply for jobs that they're not really that interested in, just to stay in the practice of applying for jobs. Sometimes they get the job, but there is something else that happens.

Anyway, a lot of performers audition just to get the practice of auditioning. An audition is a very nerve-wracking process. When they continue auditioning, however, it gets much easier. When I did my first serious audition, I decided to just do the audition and not get in. Very recently, I auditioned for a show, with full awareness that I wasn't going to get in, but I did the audition anyway, and it was a very valuable experience.
Margaux Yap couldn't stand Nicole Scherzinger apparently while Kerrie Roberts came from a Christian Environment who may have felt uncomfortable singing Songs with "Suggestive Lyrics". It's not as uncommon as you think. In The UK A Young Man named Peter dropped out of the competition on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 because he lied about his age and he couldn't live with himself. He at last report was working as a Custodial Engineer (Janitor). He didn't miss much, One True Voice didn't make it.
Sometimes you go in thinking it's one thing then it could be another I think they felt their intuition was spot on the group is no longer around as much I think Nicole has talent she overshadowed the group it's a group not indiviual solo artist she even had issues in PCD . The long run they made the right decision

Damn, that's so cold, flying representatives from the show to their home just to tell them they didn't make it. Obviously someone thinks, if you're taking a camera on a plane and driving to your house, it's good news. But not this show.
