The thing i’m most sad about is trading as before trading, having torpedo would show you being a very pro and og player wich recieved respect, like I was (not pro but og then) but now that trading came out a few months ago it’s like if everyone thinks every single torpedo player must have traded for one while I didn’t, I hope that the devs could add something such as titles that appear in front of your name like the VIP gamepass does wich could prove ur og-ness of vehicles or playtime as example: an og arachnid owner gets the title: Arachnid in front of their name, a beta player can put Beta in front of their name (now that that beta tester could be already proven by the effect) it’s still some idea, and of course you can change the title in front of your name if you want, disable or enable / change title
i think it would be nice if they can add the text "original owner" from the back of your vehicle like the other texts such as 'limited', 'classic', and 'retired'
The thing àbout the torpedo and trading is that at the beginning of trading, people offered 1 if not 2 brulees for torpedo or an m12 and beignet for brulee, but with HelloItsVg's stupid values list, it completely broke and corrupted the trading economy putting the torpedo at like 8-10brulees?!?! And now beignet is more valuable than brulee?! I've seen m12's slowly taking over
In theory, M12 should be more than a brulee, it's the second rarest car confirmed by bayatt a tester for jailbreak and in the data store. M12 deserves more love
Jav is faster than torp on pretty much any distance but the handling and ground clearance makes it more practical in game for me Concept is a bit too bumpy
as an og season 2 torpedo owner myself i will say this, its a rare car and one of the fastest cars in the game today. however unless you’re a collector, i really wouldn’t bother beating yourself up over getting one if you missed the opportunity back in 2018. its insane speed and acceleration make it somewhat difficult to control, also not to mention the suspension is awful even with raised modifications. there are many better, more reliable options than the torpedo currently.

Torpedo was a cool childhood seasonal prize. It was overhyped which ruined it, and obviously it wasn't great looking, it's 4 years old. It's valuable of course but shouldn't be worth your soul

to play devils advocate it’s also gonna be stated that the suspension on the javelin isn’t as great as that of the torpedo from personal testing when I had both. As well as the fact that there’s lower customization to the javelin already having a spoiler and other set features. Evaluate isn’t really a big problem for you then honestly going for the torpedo might just be like a better idea
I think the jav makes up for the lack of customisation with the two toned body, being able to give the car 2 different colours and textures can make it a customisers dream, and smarter players know to avoid areas that require higher suspension and like the slower speed its not a big enough problem to make it less capable than the torpedo. I think both are a great choice but i think the jav wins ever so slightly in utility, but if you wanna prove you’ve been playing since the start, the torpedo is the way to go. Imo its all up to personal taste

Did you get them from trading or duped them? If you got it from trading then there is a chance that it was duped so it was removed. It happened to me also, lost my airtail which i gotten for an amazing deal
I think the torpedo is OVERATED I think it was a very valuable car in jailbreak but then the javelin and beam and beignet were just so much better cars which made torpedo way less valuable especially since it’s not the rarest car anymore so torpedo owners didn’t like that and act like it’s the pinnacle of jailbreak cars and won’t overpay for it or just want to flex it I think torpedo is less than arachnid since arachnid is cooler looking and rarer there’s just a bunch of people with outdated information and hurt egos who say torpedo is the rarest car or the best.
Little edit: It was avaible in season 1 already but because very little players played back then, they decided to add it into season two again. How do I know that it was already in season 1? I bought it.

It deserved it, literally looks like soap bar, and I would just get the cheaper javelin instead of spending my life for a soap. The javelin is better in every stat except off-roading but torpedo 5 mph higher top speed is useless. I hate how impossible it is to obtain rn. Also javelin might beat torpedo in value as torpedo was available for a year and javelin was only for 48 hours, and Roblox was down for few hours when javelin was available as well. Not to mention torpedo is actually common, I saw many people have it, there's one on every trading server.

As someone else put it, its over hated, yet also over rated. I have the javelin and it is one of my favourite cars next to the new bandit, I prefer looks over performance… so I'm assuming its obvious what my problem is with the torpedo, its very “outdated,” ill put it that way. And the javelin imo outperforms it in important category's, a-lot of people say that the torpedo eventual catches up and even passes it, but with pit manoeuvring the torpedo will be left in the dust when those first few miles count. I torpedo still stands its ground but I think its just held slightly too high compared to other cars, it is very much not worthless and a very good option if you getting run down by cops, but theres just better options. Though it all comes down to personal taste.
For a car literally marketed as the brother to torpedo, the javelin is still incredibly undervalued. Yes, the car does seem to be gaining value however this process is way too slow. I've heard from much richer traders that rarity isnt the deciding factor for value, if that is the case, then why is beam hybrid the 3rd most valuable car in the game? It has decent stats, yes, but the top speed is just shy of 200mph, which is insanely bad comparing it to many other vehicles in the game that have much less value. If stats are the deciding factor, then that's just bullshit. There are dozens of cars in trading I could name that have unfair values so here are a few: Megalodon - previously seen as one of the worst cars in the game, got a buff which made it so much better and yet it's still as valuable as a blackhawk. Shell classic - (ok I may be biased here cuz I love this one) possibly the most expensive car in the game if you're unlucky. Has really good stats with incredible acceleration and a good top speed. SOMEHOW ITS LESS VALUABLE THAN MEGALODON In conclusion, trading values suck as they're being decided by people with like 10 torpedos who dont even care that much about the car they're giving the values to

@@jionic not really, javelin accelerates 0-180 mph faster than torpedo but once javelin enters its last gear (190mph) it accelerates slower than torpedo while torpedo accelerates faster than any other car after 200mph plus it has the best suspension among hypercars
