@@savagetoby imo as someone who loves BL and haikyuu and have read both mangas....the haikyuu manga kinda low diffs.....the character development for hinata is INSANE in one certain arc...;)
ah shit, you know its gonna be a hype day to wake up to see another new SavageToby vid. can tell this video is gonna be fire without even watching all of it yet
@@savagetoby the hajime no ippo manga is the greatest sports manga to ever be made. and the anime is SOOO fire. possibly one of the best fight scenes in ALL of anime. the manga is long but the chapters are pretty short so you will breeze paste them
Tiga is the main charakter. I wont hear anything else. He has more screen time, its all from his perspective, its his rise to matching the miracles. Kuroko just always tries and fails to steal the spotlight
See id agree w character development but something about kenma going from hating to loving volleyball just takes a special place in my heart so if put it first but apart from that I agree w most of it
@N0XAMILLION yes I did but the haikyuu side character moments just hit harder because the characters are better developed and we are more connected with them because the series takes it's time to develope every single character. Moments like the barou goal are epic for shure, but they don't compare to moments like tsuki's block against ushijima bexause the build up and the development is done so much better
Idk to me like best sports anime/ manga but i think its kore fo manga is Slam Dunk and Hajime no Ippo.Because the tropes of sports genre brith frol there. And the influence of Slam dunk for basketball is comparable to What haikyuu has done for volleyball. For ippo well i dont read it but people say it tackles more than boxing cuz they say after ippo gets strong he realise that strength isnt that alone.
imo from the three blue lock haikyuu kuroko my all time slam dunk ippo ao ni nare some people might not say its sports but imo they fall here. the climber(rock climbing) welcome to the Ballroom(dance) grand blue(diving)(less serious more comedy and fan service)
In my opinion Kurokos basketball didn't miss at all so thats at the top. but there was some matches i found more boring and etc in haikyuu and bluelock, But i enjoyed every part of Kuroko (I might be biased since its my first sports anime)
you do realize GLAZING means overpraising beyond logical reasoning right? that's stupid and yes most of such glazing riders are of blue lock cuz they love football
Personally kuroko's basketball is my least favourite out of the bunch by a mile as I do sports and there isn't much connection between me and the anime and idk it feels like just a sports anime just for the cool points. Blue lock and haikyuu are closer but blue lock just isn't as realistic and clicks with me as well, don't get me wrong the animation is by far the best and the message of ego is really insightful. Finally Haikyuu, most characters have personalities and have character development, the development of skill is pretty realistic and the mc by far has the most depth and growth as a whole. Also don't get me started with the themes and lessons it taught me throughout the journey. Hence Haikyuu>blue lock>kuroko. But I have read the manga so I might be biased in a sense. (sorry for the essay and great video)
For me it is between Hajime no ippo, Major and Ashita no Joe. One outs and slam dunk are great as well. For me the rest of sports animes are much worse than those I mentioned. One outs may not be the best sports anime but it is probably the most unique.
He didn't even read the whole of the haikyuu manga so missed out on some of the greatest character development arcs, he literally just stated he skipped to the end just to see the art development XD I'd definitely say the character development in haikyuu is better so overall I'd put haikyuu above BL but that's just my opinion, just wish he had've read the whole manga before judging all of them
@@savagetoby I think the rest of the manga is being compiled into one or two movies so it’ll probs feel very rushed unfortunately but I am looking forward to it anyway, but then again I could be wrong and it could be paced very well, will just have to wait (a whileee 😭) and see
@@netherteenager3756 haikyuu has more depth than blue lock. Wayy better story wise. Blue lock does have slightly better pacing and cooler characters. Blue lock is just a slightly above average battle shonen while haikyu actually respects the sport
I mean hey everyone has their opinion. To me this was to much glaze without enough explanation. A lot of it was if you have watched you know or very vague explanations. Would recommend two things for future uploads. One give more in depth explanations to your choice with examples even if it may be a “spoiler” but just say spoiler alert or something of the sort. I also recommend if you are going to say something isn’t getting the number one spot in everything and you aren’t just glazing move some of those to the beginning of the videos.
I read some of the comments and saw that SavageToby said that Haikyuu is probably the best for average viewers. In my opinion, it's probably the worst for average anime viewers. Especially the anime viewers that are used to anime being a media where "superpowers" and "powerful characters" are often the main focus. A media where the average viewers are used to seeing powerful characters unleashing their inner powers in an explosively animated way and a media where the best and most interesting characters are almost always the strongest characters. A lot of my friends find that Haikyuu's characters are boring and a pattern that I saw is that the characters that they consider to be well-written are always the "badass" characters in the volleyball court like Kageyama, Oikawa, Ushijima and Atsumu. But that's not the focus of Haikyuu. I think Haikyuu has a degree of realism that average viewers would probably find boring. For example, I especially love the deeper message of each character's dedicated storyline that for those who can relate or learn something from it, it'd be incredible. But for those who don't, they probably will not. Matter of fact, one of my favorite characters in the show is Kamomedai's coach because of the impact that he had to me.
I think agree with most of this. Among three of these i would say as a sports anime Haikyu is the best
