When video ends with car in cul-de-sac area it has different tires on it. Did you go with different tires for specific reason. I'm just curious.
I filmed the end shots last summer BEFORE I had the motor work done. Once I got the motor work done I had to switch to the toyo 888R tires. Those are what I currently have on the car. It’s pointless to run regular tires on it now. It’s un-drivable

Man, your daughter segment hit me. I have a 2 year old daughter and another one on the way and I’m already thinking about how can I protect them but also make sure they experience life, have fun, learn from mistakes. Girl dad life is the best though!
I can definitely appreciate your going above and beyond for your daughter's interest. I'll definitely remember that when that day comes up for me, my daughter is only 9 but it'll be here sooner than I'd like

Pete, I have only gotten 5 minutes into this video and it's like you are talking to me.
My daughter is 19 and is in her first year of full-time college.
So far she has been super focused on school. Graduating 2nd in her senior class of over 400.
Her hope is to be a pediatric oncologist so she has a long way to go.
I have been lucky so far but I know the day is coming.
I pray every day I don't lose my mind when it does.
I would love you to do a video on how you are handling your experience.

I need to do a full detail to my black B8 Audi S4. It "only" makes just north of 500hp with the dual pulley setup. It's my first supercharger car and I love the power delivery. Keep the car content coming...

“I dry my car with water” -Pete….🤯. U made an Instagram post a while back where u were running water over the Mustang. I thought u were doing that to show off the ceramic coating. In actuality u were doing that to get bigger water droplets so u can easily follow it up with the blower thus drying your car. Thanks for the info Pete. That is genius. 👏🏾
P.S.- I would love to see a video of u cleaning the dually. I have a Ford Expedition so I can only imagine how much work it takes to detail your truck.

Pete, a tip when cleaning the tires. Get a 2x68 or 2x8x8 and cut it in half. Then cut each 4ft piece in half. When making the cuts in the 2 4ft pieces, as opposed to cutting on a 90 degree, cut on the steepest angle you can to form a ramp on the cut edge. Now when you position the car to wash it, before shutting it off, place a board in front of each tire so driving forward will drive up onto the wood. Be sure to place the wood about an inch closer to the centerline of the car so when you pull up onto the wood, the tire will overhang the wood by about an inch or so. Now when you clean the tire, you will get the entire tire clean as the bottom is up in the air and not contacting the ground.
Also, when applying tire dressing, you can apply the dressing to the entire tire without having to move the car as that tire is up in the air and exposed enough to get to it.
And a product recommendation for you. I've had great success with Adams Polishes Tire Armour. You need to follow the instructions and the most important is to make sure the tire is super clean. As long as the tire is super clean, the product will perform well. I too don't like shiny tires, so I apply 2 coats of Tire Armour. It has a satin look like a new tire. For those looking for a shiny tire, just apply a 3rd coating. I've had Tire Armour last for months on a daily driver. And because it needs to dry on the tire, there is nothing to sling on the fenders or wheel wells.
Pete, you should to take a look at Ammo NYC. He has a good line of products and goes into good detail on everything. He also has some videos on cleaning without water.

Wow I like your wash technique, mine is very similar.
I went from a similar el cheapo chair to the Vyper Low Pro and its definitely worth the money. Rolls great in the driveway across relief cracks as well as on the Swisstrax in my garage.
I am looking forward to getting it .... if I ever do get it. Ordered it weeks ago and it still hasnt shipped.

I only own black vehicles and I actually prefer the wet black tire dressing look.. just my preference, but with that being said. Chemical Guys VRP is hands down the best dressing ever made to use for tires! It is water based so there is no sling! Which is amazing, just wanted to throw that out to you :)

I’ve had my car washed by professionals and lawn cut by professionals. I was taught both by my dad and he was a perfectionist. Both are not my profession but after doing bot for 30 years, most of the time I do a more detailed and complete job. There will always be a negative Nancy

Now let me start by saying your farther in the process than I with my oldest only 7 but as a father of three girls... when the time comes, son ain't getting the rewards up front...what I mean is this young man is getting picked up in the work truck and we are going to a job so we can have our talk... we will take break have a bite to eat and I will explain the reason that this journey ain't a short road...it has taking a life time of work and sacrifices to get here so if you would like to help out we can see but you don't start at the top...he sees the vision and potential but this will take work...does that sound fair? It may change but it's where I'm at mr. Pete.
Pete have you looked into a wheel woolie brush for those wheels? I use one on my painted wheels those regular ones scare me of scratches because bristles.
My next mustang will be gray this black is too much work for my liking.

Since you have a ceramic coating I guess we won’t be seeing any clay bar and polishing work. Would love to hear your thoughts on having a ceramic coating over other standard protectants.

@@GCITurf worst tire dressing for tires. This stuff will cause tire blooming on your tires very fast. Used it when it first came out and within 2 months I had a few of my customers vehicle's with tire blooming which is when your tires always look brown but aren't actually dirty, it's an antiozonant that is used on tires to help against damage from the ozone and heat ..
Use 303 Aerospace Protectant in the white bottle instead, it helps against tire blooming by blocking UV light ... you can use it on your interior as well, leather, vinyl, all black trim been using it for 20 years now ...
Try to stay away from any stuff that is a white label/private label ... they dilute it more than 50% at times and I am talking from experience ...
One thing I noticed, why do you even put a towel on your Mustang if you use a water filtration system? That defeats the purpose of using spotless water ... I don't put a towel on my truck and it's ceramic coated ... spotless water and I allow it to air dry ...
That snow foam is bad too, it is ph neutral, but the fragrance they use will break down your ceramic coating ... just a heads up ....

It seems you don't use your handbrake? Putting your car into park without handbrake first puts all the cars weight on the transmission, which ain't good. Put ya handbrake on first allow at to settle on handbrake then put car into park, better for the transmission

Brand new dually with custom wheels and 37's, brand new mustang with probably 20k+ in mods...... I would say the handcuffs werent THAT tight to stop you from making money!!!!
You have good tastes though. I had a non dually lifted on 37's as well. Want another car to mod but I dont like driving low vehicles anymore now that I have driven lifted or at least full size 4wd factory trucks for a while. I like sitting up high. And being 6'6" and about 270lbs, I almost have to fall into lower cars like the mustangs.
and when i said "handcuffs off" in the video it had absolutely nothing to do with money. I love how folks always assume its always about "money" ... blows my mind how thats ALWAYS the first thing that comes to a persons mind when in reality they dont have a clue.

shes 16. I do have a mechanic do my engine work. Hes the only person that I let work on my car because he makes cars VERY fast and the is hyper anal about NOT scratchig them.
