He is massive, just like Rezzyl Azzir, the first EVER Guardian, and he has made it his business to crush the darkness by crushing the weakness within our own ranks. He doesn't even use guns to fight other guardians, even when they have their supers, he just punches their heads off. Saint is extremely, extremely powerful, and it's part of the perfect Paradox that whenever we do something magnificent and legendary like slaying a God, or unlocking new potential, he also get substantially more powerful. But Shaxx... Shaxx is almost an entirely different beast. Saint might be able to win if he can Surpress Shaxx and pop the Ward of Dawn on top of him, but Shaxx singlehandedly held off an entire Armada of Fallen, and he is so powerful his might ignited 6 other guardians making them strong enough to withstand the barrage. Idk if Saint could actually win.
Not really. Saint's Light is WAY more potent than Shaxx's, so that would massively help Saint right away. Also he literally fought in the infinite forest for centuries. As much as I love Shaxx, Saint easily takes it. If you want to scale it, Saint=Osiris>Ikora>Shaxx. Ikora is the only person other that the player Guardian (us) and maybe Cayde but im not sure to beat Shaxx in the Crucible.

Dark age and warlord shaxx is a million times more scary than even saint 14 was on the fallens homeworld at his peak. Lord shaxx is even significantly bigger than saint.
Would argue it'd be harder honestly, considering that shaxx was more impressive then even saladin when it cames to fist of havoc, and overall is probably one of the last few remaining ex warlords from the darl ages (dont quote me on that... Has been a while since i looked at the lore) hell, id even argue that it could be an either or match between prime saint and darkage prime shaxx
