@@SoftBreadSoft i wrote that comment a year ago so i don't really know why i even brought up audio latency, if you play on windows in general you'll have 40ms latency regardless of using a crt vs lcd. offset however is only for synchronizing the beatmap with the audio and has nothing to do with the latency (unless you play without hitsounds like plasma and want to sync keyboard taps with the music)
@@Jarran2R the whole point of universal offset is to offset your OS+hardware/system audio latency... In peppy's(?) guide he recommends, or used to, a program to find your exact system audio latency to put into universal offset... audio and input and monitor latency are all different things
