The DISCO ERA was the most fabulous era of all time. I doubt there will ever be another era like this. Can't count the number of times I GOT LAID. I must've surpassed Wilt Chamberlain's number. This era made my UNIVERSE SOOOOOOOO worth living! 😎

Grandissimi meravigliosi ricordi di musiche che credo non torneranno piu'. Musiche ballabilissime in discoteca. Ricordo le sale come erano piene di persone, il divertimento era assicurato, e non solo perche' si andava a ballare in discoteca per rimorchiare le ragazze, ma per divertirsi con questa bellissima musica che entrava nel nostro corpo e nella nostra mente come un portentoso elisir di giovinezza e brillantezza. Insomma ci si divertiva come matti, i pomeriggi, le sere e le notti facevano da padrone delle nostre vite. Veramente altri tempi, che i giovani di oggi si sognano di vivere o forse non vengono neanche sfiorati nella mente di poter vivere. Bravissimi tutti, che ci fate ricordare con nostalgia quei magnifici momenti della nostra vita. Grazi davvero a tutti voi che ci riempite il cuore di gioia!!!!.- The Best!

Beh, io non mi allargherei cosi tanto...forse prima ci sono bach, mozart, beethoven, muddy waters, bbking, howlin' wolf, miles davis, john coltrane, ornette coleman, charlie mingus, bill evans, thelonious monk, charlie parker, i beatles, gli stones, janis joplin, syd barrett, hendrix...etc etc etc etc etc. Comunque lo studio 54 fu importantissimo nell'evoluzione dei tempi e gli anni 70 produssero il massimo della creativita' pop. Io stesso ho frequentato nyc e lo studio 54 e tante notti mi capitava di ballare con la mia compagnia vicino a bowie, jagger e sua moglie bianca, jerry hall, andy wharol, lou reed, truman capote, sly stallone, barbra streisand, mohamad ali, i campioni nba, dustin hoffman, faye dunaway, jack nicholson, tutti insieme a sudare gomito a gomito...eh si', ne ho viste tante di queste icone pop nelle nostre frequentazioni tra il 77 e il 79. Lo studio 54 era un vero laboratorio di sfrenata liberta'...e debbo dire che sfrenata e' un aggettivo addirittura insufficiente a descrivere quanto si potesse essere liberi in quell'accogliente inferno...musica splendida e neve moooolto candida e freeeeee...
