An electrical engineering student talking about how great the iPad Pro is. I’m sold. Been debating this product for a year now, I’m ready to throw some money at it.
Edit: I bought one myself. Best damn purchase I’ve made for myself as a student. Buy the 12.9” version. Also bought the matte screen protector. If you don't like the feel of writing on glass, then I'd highly recommend it. Also a pencil grip for me was a must. Finally, as far as note taking, I've stuck with Goodnotes!

Excuse for my ignorance, do you use it only for note taking or you can also run engineering software in you iPad pro? I hope you could help me. Thanks in advance

I'm about to start studying EE and I'm planning to buy the 12.9 64 GB 2018 version, do you think the 64 GB version will be enough for the 4 years degree? thank you :)

@@eyal4 also late like the other guy who replied but you can use online storage like google drive, one drive, or iCloud. Google and one drive are good if you ever need to switch between your iPad and pc

Do you find that using this as a replacement for your notebooks is a huge advantage considering everything is in one place and you're not having to carry books around with you?

Sounds like your professors are pretty lenient. Some of mine do not allow electronic note taking tools like tablets or laptops. Some also mandate use of the equation tool in Microsoft word which is a pain. I’d much rather be able to submit handwritten files like you’re talking about.

hoosier1195 That's dumb. All profs I have had just told people with tablets to sit in the front row if they want to use them.
