If you made it with your hands, and it's okay with you, I'd like to show your work and shout you out in a video too.
you are truly a master baiter

You have contributed to my binge watching addiction.. I hope you're proud
That’s one of those baits where you just have to tell yourself you’re not gonna get a lot of bites. That’s a trophy bass/musky/pike lure. Gotta have a few of those to offset the practical baits and that’s why I love this channel!
I've seen 4 inch bass hit a 6 inch stick bait
Even if that snake bait didn’t work well it’s still the coolest bait I’ve ever seen!
It's more a kinetic sculpture than bait lol, it's fine though because it looks amazing
I'd be super curious to see this lure in salt water
Seeing you now with almost 400k you totally deserve 1 mil
You have good camera quality
Incredible skill and patience
You listen to our suggestions
Your lures are unique and you don't copy other people.
You seem really chill and like a genuine good guy
There are some people on RUclips who start to post videos and the general audience is quickly drawn to that creator. You sir, are one of those charismatic creators that people are drawn to
Is it only me that cant wait for the 1000 jointed snake when he hit a milion subs
that a easy $700 to $1000 dollar lure
If it works yea
nope
If I spent that on a lure I would have it on bulletproof Kevlar line -,-
Shut up
lol
watching you cast that thing reminds me of when i cast my pole and the top half flew off with the gear......looked about like that.
30:12 I completely agree trial-and-error is the best way to learn.
Great stuff mate! Make a Platypus lure please. The fun facts on that one will blow you away!😁
Yes! Best idea yet haha A platapus
def a good idea , I wonder if he would use said platypus's bill as a crankbait type bait.

Got my vote
Get to a big lake (Spirit Lake, Okoboji) this spring when the toothy critters are spawning in the shallows. Pike, Musky or giant Largemouth Bass will gobble that thing right up! If you put a blade on the "chin" of the head, it'll do the snake wiggle. Nice job!
Don't sell yourself short. You, Sir, are a true craftsman. And people love to watch a good craftsman work... I don't even fish.
This guys artistic skills are nuts!!!!
Way to go! Hard work pays off. Thanks for making these videos! They educate me, they are fun to watch and they are a great addition to what I watch on RUclips! Thank you!
100,000 subscribers is because of your skill and talent in every lure you make.
Carving and smoothing and sanding that snake seems fun.
OMG he said "malk-snake" 😂 I already love this guy!!! LMAO
this is how lure fishing started , 100+ years ago a fisherman would carve what he wanted to fish with then use it . rapala and a few other makers have great videos in mass scale which is very cool for the diehard fisherman . great work the hand carvings are spectacular and are great mantle pieces or personalized gifts ;)
Thank god you started talking in your videos. I remember when you used to not talk😂 now your vids are way more entertaining. You deserved that 100,000k. Wish you luck in the future Charlie😂
Love it! Congratulations on the 107,000 subs!
Ahh yes , finally .
Now make a muskrat , or a musky , or axolotyl , or micro jointed swimbaits . Like I’m talking penny to quarter sized .
That's gonna need microscop
Dang that's tiny 😂
You say your just a guy who makes baits and videotapes it. You are the epitome of what SO many people in the world today want to be. You have a talent. Don't laugh too loud, other people may want it. You are an independent, you have no boss (except, maybe Chelsea and Finn), you have no clock-in or clock-out, you are doing something you love, and you are keeping 100k subscribers happy, by giving THEM a break from all the work-related crap they have to put up with.
Keep up the awesome work!
I love how much detail you put into this
You should try tying flies one day. It would be cool to see you try tie flies and maybe try make connections between the lures you make vs flies
Seth2508 shiners done already
This just ended up in my recommendations, most likely because I watch a lot of “hand made” videos. I don’t fish. I know nothing about making lures, but the title intrigued me. I watched, and I was amazed! The amount of artistry and hard work that goes into a lure astounds me. I realize this wasn’t a usual lure by any means, and now I plan on educating myself more about lures so that I am not as ignorant the next time I watch one of your videos. And yes, there will be a next time because a 44 year old woman whose idea of the outdoors is a well tended garden just subscribed. I did it is because your craft is exceptional, and you are far away from a guy “in his garage making lures.” Now I need to go watch older videos and catch up.... 👍
sir, you may think that's a simple paint job, but those of us with no painting skills sit in awe...excellent work, sir!
Even more subscribers NOW 😎👍.
Just added another one.
Super cool lures..
I have three tests in xray school tomorrow......but I’m just gonna watch this instead.

Melk snake
i hear that Stadium Arcadium album in the background. respect. respect.
I don't know how I got here, but I'm glad I did. I don't fish, despite growing up on a lake, but watching you make lures is so relaxing. It's apparent that you enjoy it immensely. Thank you for sharing.
OMG you draw snake heads perfectly! I can't even draw a snake that well!😂❣️
A square billl will fix it! Congrats on the 100k.You make more than baits, you make art.Still want to see a good shiner.great job.
Snakes are my all time favorite thing to mimic for big bass don't ask me why but I love it the wake they make gets the slabs on fire
RUclipsrs like this are great. They aren't saturated in their fame and they are not afraid to be themselves. Great content. Keep being yourself bro, don't go cold like all those other RUclipsrs
Make a squid or octopus
YES I WAS ALWAYS COMMENTING THAT YOU SHOULD MAKE A SNAKE LURE!!! FINALLY
That is a beautiful work of art. Very talented sir.
I have been subscribed for a very long time and this milestone is so amazing to see you over come. I am greatly appreciated for you to make that mission #marlinbaits
Just wondering? What about goldfish or a fancy goldfish. But idk, if it would look good but it would be nice to see
Very very cool to see! A jointed fancy gold fish.
When you use it twitch like your walking the dog it worked for mine.
Having messed with milkshakes as well as banded king snakes THAT IS FREAKING AWESOME! if had not watched you make this world have fooled me for the real thing LOVED IT!
One of the best show’s on RUclips if you fish or not. All the best!!! Thanks

This was your best video yet!!
I love your videos. I will watch them non stop and I love your content. Thank you!
The scale texture on the head and neck is awesome!
Yes. YESS!!!!!!! HE HAS ANSWERED.
Dude you use so many awesome different processes in your baits, it looks like so much fun for us types who like to make stuff with our hands. Man i gotta try this, did you ever run a bait shop or anything? The mold processes and even the airbrushing you do some cool stuff.
Yeah he's throwing $1,000 lure with no leader. I think that was the only cringey part in this video
I love your spacer jig, that is genius.
Love how the stadium arcadium album is just playing in the back 👌🏼

Congratulations on your 1000,000 subscribers. I'm delighted to be one. Your imagination and craftsmanship are inspirational.
To answer your wife's question... snakes don't usually die in the winter but they don't come out in the winter, they tend to hibernate being cold blooded. That bait would be awesome if it was a little smaller. That's a beefy snake. Beautifully made though.
WOW! haha nice bait. You should make a Mexican Axolotl, It's some kind of salamander.
do a snakehead swimbait
edit:Thank you guys ❤
We have a lot of frilled lizards where I live, love to see one,we all love u and think u are awesome
What an incredible crafted object ! Guy, you made my day...
I think you should make a bullhead catfish swimbait for the "taxidermy" series.
It sounds like you're saying melk snake. Also do a baby pike lure.
King snake in the winter! Pretty cool.
I've been watching your videos for over a week now and dude you are truly talented....and funny.
Do a butterfly lure, i would like to see how you can realise that :)
I think a musky would smash this one too. I Feel like there is a way to jerk it to make it look even more alive, anyways I like this one a lot, Congrats on 100k buddy.
IT IS SO ADORABLE! I’LL TAKE YOUR ENTIRE STOCK!
no matter what everyone says I think you are very talented and I would love to be able to do what your doing
Flying fish plz
For 150k you should make a record size largemouth bass lure
TJ Wilson yess 😂 it would be massive!
You know how big they get!?
Yes ik how big they get that’s why I said

Super cool , their is a guy that makes snake canes and for the scales he wood burns the pattern on the wood and wood is painted it is awesome... great vid thanks
Ha ha You could mop up selling them as children's toys, You may be one of the most talented ppl I have ever seen! Wish I had a fraction of your ability!
Maybe try putting a wake lip on it for more action
That's so amazing! #talent
i hear that stadium arcadium in the back🤘🏼🤘🏼 amazing album
Your lures are absolutely stunning keep up good work
That dude yelling “hey yeup, this is Indian creek right here and there’s the nature sign!” 😂😂 his voice tho
Holy shit it's beautiful
A thirty minute video and a snake lure? This is more than I could ever wish for!
Just spent 30 minutes watching a stranger build a lure and I don't even fish! That was a great video! new sub!
I don’t think you would catch anything with that because the colors are to trick predators to think it’s VENOMOUS. but it’s not.
yep, if you get real close to the snake the elliptical cat-like-eyes pupils are a great indicator of which snakes are actually venomous Q( ^_^ )--O non-venomous snakes don't have elliptical pupils
@@shahiraomar4229 It's only wrong if you can prove that non-venomous snakes have elliptical pupils too, those two examples you gave are highly venomous
@@devmike night snakes, lyre snakes. Both examples of harmless colubrids that have elliptical pupils.
@@brandoneargle4494 Most poisonous snakes have a pupil that resembles a cat's; an oblong shape with peaked ends, like a slit in the center of the eye. Non-venomous snakes usually have round pupils. There is always the exception. The coral snake, a very venomous snake in the United States, has round pupils.
Go thump your bible elseware, it was a joke.
@@devmike haha that's hilarious, im a herpetologist. I don't think you could have read me more wrong. And you are incorrect, most boas, pythons, pit vipers, and vipers have elliptical pupils because it suites their method of hunting better. Colubrids and elapids tend to have round pupils because it suites their means of hunting better. There is no correlation between toxicity and pupil shape. Furthermore, you don't need to be rude just because someone gives you an example of how you are wrong, it only makes you look incapable of having a decent conversation. If you would like to learn more you can send me a message, I'm always available to educate those who wish to learn. :)
Dude great job Once you add a wide lip to it it's going to be a killer lure
Awesome looking snake. Thanks
the first head you did was similar to copperhead. I liked it.
Very cool build. I recommend putting a vent hole in the highest part of the mold. It will eliminate any chances of voids.
I can't be the only one getting 10 year old flashbacks involving Juliansmith watching this
Hats off to you. Straight dedicated
Congratulations body.. Keep doing what you do best!!.. We love your video brother. Thanks 💪💪✊❤️❤️🇵🇷
Just fyi the bump near the tail isn't part of the body shape it's a poop working it's way down! Lol congrats on 100,000! Well 200,000 now!
Just a few ideas.
1. It’s way too big. The first one you started was a much better scale to work with and fish would be way more likely to hit a juvenile snake.
2. Bind it all with one of the inner strings from a length of 550 paracord and drill a cavity into the tail piece so that you can knot the end then fill in/sand the cavity. The cord is EXTREMELY strong and the knot will make the whole bait strong enough to add hooks down the body. I’d keep the front hook, add one in the middle, and one on the tail.
3. When snakes swim their heads remain stationary while the rest of their body moves and the head is slightly higher than the rest of their body. I’d make the head stand up a little and make a second thick section to put the 90 degree lip and weight on so all the action starts behind the head.
Just a few ideas, LOVE your work, keep it up!
Cody Lefler just for #3 is usually just venomous snakes. Sometimes watersnakes will raises their heads but usually just cottonmouths.
Matt Jones not to be that guy but it’s venom not poison. And yes you are right any snake that eats food in the water has to put its head underwater...but they never put their head under when just swimming unless spooked
Get a tiny wood carving set and there should be a V-shaped chisel for that sorta intricate designs .
Great work by the way😎
Dude you make so much more than baits... These are tools that our fathers used, not only to teach us to fend for ourselves, but to create lifelong memories with us. Learned how delicate our ecosystem can be with lures. We all can hopefully one day pass these lessons and good times Down to our kids and possibly grandchildren...
You create the lures that are passed down through generations as heirlooms. Not the big box store kind that lack quality. The good lures that last, and in time will tell stories and teach lessons.
The next time you feel like you “just make bait” you think about that. You’re an artist, and I am greatful that you allow us to watch as you create your masterpieces.
Merry Christmas 🎄

I admire your talent Sir! Love your videos.
Thanks for your videos
When you showed what snake it was gonna be, I searched for it but then I realized that fun facts is a thing..
Or a barracuda
I noticed in other videos you use a bead point drill bit for eye sockets. A Forstner bit gives a much cleaner eye socket. Your videos are great and you have some serious wood working, painting skills. I’m starting my building season and watch your videos for inspiration. Thanks for the making these videos.
Dude that’s epic, I think I’m going to have to make one of these, just wow
