Guyanese🇬🇾 Plait Bread

Ingredients
3 cups bread flour (all-purpose flour is ok to use here )
2 1/4 tsp rapid-rise yeast
1/2-3/4 cups Lukewarm milk or water
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3 Tbsp unsalted butter (room temp )
Bake 350F for 20-25 minutes

I love watching this! My friend Fazia is from Guyana and always cooks for me. Because of her I’m in love with Guyanese curry and casreep. So many great dishes that now I can’t go out to Indian food because it’s never as good lol. I’m gonna try this plait bread for sure!

I am excited to try making this. My husband's stepmother was the plaited bread make in our family (she also was the best breads and rotis) she passed away 18 years ago and we are all trying to make our special Christmas plait Bread. Her was the best!! WE DO TRY THOUGH.
