@@LohreFarm i just bought a 2 row jd 71 planter. its in pretty good shape but probably going to sand it and repaint it over the fall. any tips with the jd71 planter? i had terrible time with a new covington planter getting it to plant anything.
@@LohreFarm ive got seed plates for corn and beans. thats mostly what im going to use it for. this is the first year ive done a hobby farm if you want to call it that. its about 2.5 acres im using. later on when i get up to speed with everything i may plant something else. it did come with all the different sprockets.

Not really any advice. I completely modified mine to work. Did you get a bunch of seed plates with it?

Narrow the wheels up on the tractor and fit more rows in your area.
That is definitely an idea.
