    I got rid of my cayenne in December to get a SVR. However, all the SVRs I looked at had one issue they had a rental company as a former owner. So we ended up with a 2020 RR 3.0SD with pano roof, electric steps and massage seats. Okay it doesn’t have the pace or that sound but it’s coped with our lengthy treks from London to Ireland every week and all my kit in extreme comfort.

    SVR all the way.

    Cool comparo - you could get a non-SVAutobiography with the P565 in the UK?? Was it just another engine choice there? I don't know how I missed that before. The UK brochures show it as only available on the SVAutobiography Dynamic and SVAutobiography Long Wheelbase. It was definitely a P565 and not a P525, right?

      The grey range rover is definitely a 525 and not the 565.

    The main problem with rotary gear selector is in the drivers who are ashamed to caress their stick before driving. The constructive way is to let off the steam before going behind the wheel (let alone doing car reviews:)) - I bet your driving style would also be more relaxed and less toxic. Those car sticks don’t do anything anymore, there are manual shifters on the wheel if you really need them (which I doubt), and some cars even have buttons for modes (D, N, R, P) for quite some time already. Performance cars like Astons and McLarens and Lambos. Rotary selector is convenient, elegant, less prone for breaking and getting dirty and is a bit of wow-factor for those who’ve never being in JLR car.

    Thing is 2 different versions no real comparison. Personally a full fat Range Rover is king it’s not about speeeed,,,,, but it’s about smoothness and luxury with the go anywhere ability. I’d rather be chill and relaxed instead of worrying if I’ve got a ticket. To me sdv8 4.4 is the best option of usable power and efficiency, and if driven well will return very good mpg and loyal service. But it falls down to the drivers skill and experience. If young most likely be drawn to svr or svo. But if older and possibly wiser you probably be drawn to the Range Rover. But horses for corses.

    Does your Volvic bottle fit in the refrigerator? Failed to mention that.
    Also how does your bottle fare in the SVR, as you clearly prefer that one.

    • @DrivenPlus
      @DrivenPlus  Год назад

      Yes the Volvic bottle fits in the refrigerator. Same cup holder size in the svr so it will be the same outcome. The volvic bottle is larger than the typical bottle size but it was the only bottle I had with me on the day unfortunately!

      Fine vehicles both. Obviously the SVR aimed at a younger demographic, so well done Land Rover for offering the choice.
      Thanks for the review.
