Man, quite a document. Almost 40 years old already, this is basketball history. But even the commercials felt so throw-back. Really good. And what a team, those Celtics...
I can enjoy watching this amazing piece of time capsule for many more years. Such a legendary team the 1986 Boston Celtics. It's very interesting to see... Greg Kite hit both his FTs.... Rick Carlisle in action and score.... Craig Ehlo play as a Rocket and score.
It is just like football ( soccer), whenever players started to play for money and not for the jersey they represent, all went down hill. Can you imagine even for a second Magic playing for the Knicks, or Bird playing for the Hawks or I. Thomas on the Lakers or Jordan on the Celtics? XD Exact same thing applies to football and pretty much all Teams Sports.
Bully Celtics, the greatest team ever my arse! Sampson was having a great game and they provoked him into that reaction. The Magic-Kareem Lakers were a far better, just ask them cheating Celts lol.
It isn't their fault he decided to throw punches and get himself ejected. Sampson averaged 15ppg on 44% shooting in this series and the Celtics severely outplayed the Rockets. The same Rockets that nearly swept Magic-Kareem Lakers. So how were the Lakers far better? Certainly not in 1986 when the Celtics won 67 games and went 50-1 at home(counting the playoffs).
@@davidschmidt227 Sampson decided to throw punches because they provoked and pushed him into it and that was their plan. Can you honestly say he's that kind of player who throws punches? Have you watched the full game? Yeah they had better stats in 1986 so what?? The Lakers were still more talented and were a far better team and they should have won the 1984 finals as well making it a 3peat of finals defeats over them cheating Celts.
@@bocjagne2878 Sampson decided to throw punches, period. I don't care what the plan was, he DECIDED to do so and got himself ejected. Yes, I've watched the full game and that series. Should have won? lol. That's not how it works. They got outplayed, Magic underperformed and the Celtics won. The opposite happened in 1985 and the Lakers won.
@@bocjagne2878 No I didn't, i'm simply stating his own accountability. You're acting like as if the 25 year old adult didn't have any choice but to throw the punch and get himself suspended. This 'plan' only works if he's reckless and dumb enough to get ejected for throwing a punch.

As a Celtics' French Fan, I enjoyed watching this final game with Larry Legend ! So gooood !
On 1986 Craig Ehlo scored the last 2 points of the season. Three years later in 1989 the last 2 points of his season would be scored in front of him.
poetic
As a Bostonian, it's just a joy to watch. Memories and nostalgia.

The thumbnail for this video is classic. Dude looks like he just smelled a fart.
😂😂😂😂😂
Bird is 6-9. Walton is half a foot taller
Walton is actually 7-2 in his prime and looks way bigger than Parish's supposedly 7-1
Bird not playing again at his best rarely has in the finals.
Trash game, they cant even drible the ball on their left hand
palming rule prevented them from freely dribbling the ball.
Don't eat the trash bro
