We were out of internet and I was playing on my phone because why not.. and when I clicked the “accessibility shortcut” I was like ohhooooo wowwww and then I clicked the “voice over” and then my whole phone just stopped I was fuuuuuuuuuu... and then my dad is mad at me and kept on yelling that this is my last phone... Thank You SO MUCHH!! my sister was watching TikTok on my phone and i always have voice control on, so the video or her voice triggered voice over and i couldn't fix it, because it's an iphone 11 i couldn't use three fingers to swipe, so it took me a while and then i gave up and watched a video xD

Great post - prior to finding it I was very nearly pulling out the few hairs remaining on my head 🙈
I followed your excellent advice and quickly had the phone unlocked and from there I accessed “Settings” however I then encountered a slight problem -
I couldn’t scroll down to the “General” or Accessibility Tabs..... Sooooo I then had an exceedingly “rare” brainwave ....
I requested Siri to “Turn Voiceover Off” (it worked😂)
The rest is history ....

You can also tell Siri to “turn off voice over” and that’s a quick fix.
Siri doesn’t work in that situation

Dman Gman go to settings, go to general, accessibility and write down the bottom go to accessibility shortcut unselect voice-over
