I am one of those people who couldn’t stand the Dave Matthews Band throughout the 90s…then I was introduced to the Luther College performance. Since that time it would be fair to say that Dave’s music has changed my life. I’m still not a big fan of the band (solo and/or with Tim is what continues to resonate with me), but I must say that these guys are truly exceptional.

Carter has the touch and the listening skills to execute. I have trouble thinking of any other drummer in any other band where this can happen on a level anywhere close.
This song doesn’t have the power it used to, but it’s still a fun jam. Check out Gorge 2002 for one of the better versions! (I think the Gorge ‘02 beats the ‘famous’ spac version personally) Linked the Gorge one here. Was just thinking this same thing! 2002 Gorge version is unreal and my favorite. Saw this as the opener the other night in Cincinnati and the energy is not quite the same. Still was great, but the early 2000’s version of Seek Up will never be replicated! My son who is now 20 years old and going to concerts with me, said after the show that Seek Up sounded off at first, well he had been watching Gorge 2002 for a few weeks! Still great show though!
Saratoga springs is my favorite version of this song and I don’t think that’s gonna change but I’d like to here other versions of a truly incredible masterpiece So I just heard it and it’s almost the same but the words are different I still like the other one better though because of the meaning of the words Still a great version
