I can totally vouch for these shoes. They are expensive but well worth the investment as I am able to hike much longer than usual due to their superior comfort. They also have tremendous grip power, allowing me to explore the more precipitous trails in safety. And, they look great on me! Thank you for telling us about those shoes. I really need something like those because I also get serious cramps in my legs when walking a bit of distance. I still get those cramps, even after getting Stent implants in both legs for blocked arteries.
I agree! Boulder-X is a great shoe, especially for scrambling around Red Rock. La Sportiva makes a great product. Their Ultra Raptor is my all time favorite trail shoe.
This is kinda sappy and over the top if you ask me. But useful...i can tell you like them, and if those soles saw 3 months of use that covers my worst worry about that sticky rubber...it can wear down very quickly. La Sportiva is a top-shelf company and I've never had anything bad from them...one of my old climbing buddies had a pair of their climbing shoes as far back as 1983 or so and they were super bomb..i've had a pair of climbing boots and those were too...High quality European craftsmenship. BTW: those are $120 dollar shoes...nice deal...i'd pay full price in a heartbeat though for those bad boys, and probably will here today.
Got them ! Third pair now they just go on forever !! Ordered the gtx as a wet weather comfy everyday mid boot 🥾 can’t say enough ABOUGHT them ! Oh I’m the uk the low model goes for £100 on sale and gtx £160 so that is bloody cheap

They’ve been making them for years now had my first pair around 10 years ago and glad they HAVNT changed the desighn

Do people take two types of shoe on a day hike?
Some do, more for climbers over hikers. However I do know of hikers that take water sandals as well as normal hiking shoes
