I feel like there's 4 different kinds of people here. Murph knows it and is trying to get it right, Siobhan knows it and is trying to get it wrong, Emily doesn't know it and is trying to get it right, and Ally doesn't know it and is trying to get it wrong.
Ehhh she was already on that path before she even spoke to the Bad Kidz. This is the same girl who got JEALOUS of Riz simply because he happened to horrifically lose his dad as a little kid due to something far beyond his control, the name mocking is the least of her worries.
@@crownoises3163 no, he was jealous because of how good he was and attributed that to his traumatic past (like she did with the rest of them) its a way of deflecting from her relative lack of skill and putting down to something outside of her control

On the D20 wiki, there is a section for "also known as" that would keep getting longer after every failed attempt. One of my favorite things to check after each episode
The face Brennan makes after Ally makes the "4 dog names" joke can very well be him just acting how KLCK would have responded, but I choose to also interpret as Brennan realising the name he has used for years as one of his own player characters DOES sound like 4 dogs.
brennan said in the ap that the 4 dog name vibe was VERY intentional when he originally made the character lmao. such perfect chaos for a little type a halfling
I love that this is the Fantasy High equivalent of Benedict Cumberbatch’s name, the false names are so off the wall but you know exactly who we’re talking about
Some people found Kristen irritating this season, yet it was the season the character really clicked with me between the insane antagonism/toxicity towards her enemies and the chaos Ally brought to the table once again. The steelworkers factory and the 2 miracles performed by K2 are some of the peak-est demonstrations of what dnd fun should really be 😂
I like how Siobhan is trying to get it as wrong as possible on purpose whilst still being recognisable, it's like how people did a similar thing to Benedict Cumberbatch's name back in the day (also favourite Murph face is 1:22 immediately after Ally says "what are you like 4 different dogs?")
This is so well edited!! And the captions! Also im actually SHOCKED that all this verbal bullying has only totalled up to less than 2 minutes, I was sure it was longer lmaooo
It's funny, because I'm like the opposite when it comes to names. As soon as I hear a name as weird and complicated as Kipperlilly Copperkettle my minds like, "Yep. No way am I forgetting that." It's the simple and common names that, unless I'm hearing them all the time, they tend to roll right off.
They really did come at her very hard and fast; like damn, all she did was give off a weird energy! But it was funny, and she ended up being evil anyway so whatever
I mean hey, Fig decided to distrust Porter since day 1 and didn't even realize smth was up with the whole "barbarian healing" thing. The Bad Kidz are just built different maybe they got good instinct for bad guys 🤷♂️
@@crownoises3163 Yeah! In this case, it’s them picking up on the “anyone who’s annoying in normal life will secretly be a fantasy villain” thing that appears in Fantasy High. The Prom Royalty? That bulky from the football team? The racist football coach? All of these people are mundane frustrations for most people in real life, but in Fantasy High they do murder. Kipper lily is instantly giving the energy of “I am only being nice because I want people to think that”, and that means she’s definitely secretly a murderer
Ok, obviously this wasn’t their intention at all because the Intrepid Heroes would never do this on purpose, but I can’t be the only person uncomfortable with the running gag of bullying the canonically indigenous girl for her culture’s naming conventions. Specifically with how Kipperlilly Copperkettle resembles the naming structure of certain IRL American Indigenous tribes? Maybe I’m being overly sensitive, but it just rubbed me the wrong way the entire series and then I remembered Gorthalax saying that halflings were the indigenous people of Solace before they were colonized and it just clicked.
It was one of Brennan's old PCs, I doubt it's that deep. Dropout doesn't have a history of doing stuff like that either, I genuinely think you're searching for trouble where there is none /lh.
The compound word naming convention is pretty much standard in the fantasy genre. Gorgug's last name being Thistlespring, for example. It has absolutely nothing to do with anyone being indigenous.
@@LuckySketches I know. What I’m saying is that Kipperlilly is canonically indigenous in the setting of Spyre, and much more focus is unintentionally placed on her compound name than anyone else’s.

The new alignment chart
@@telanis9It's even funnier because if you look at Kipperlilly's wiki page, most of her aliases are accredited to Adaine 😭
its like one of those 4 squares memes
If you pay attention, there‘s also 4 different dogs
The best part is Emily seems to genuinely try to remember and just gets it a tiny bit wrong each time 😂
Perfectly in character for Fig
Emily is good at a lot of thing, but pronouncing people’s names correctly is not one of them
Tbh if a person I already didn’t really like called me and my name “four dogs” I would also give into the nameless god of rage

it's kinda funny that she waa supposed to have been Riz's foil when Siobhan was a top tier hated the whole time
A good balance cuz Murph had Oisin's number day 1
Plus Kristen
In hindsight I really wish someone said crouching tiger hidden dragon at some point

The fact that Emily is looking straight at her notes for half of these sends me
Wow, this is the first time I've heard Paperplate Sillyface (0:19) in any of these comps! Good catch
It hurts too cause her name is genuinely quite unique. It’s memorable _except to them_
My favorite was from a Reddit post that called her Crystalstealer Clerickiller
the benedict cumberbatch of the 2020s

Ally killed it with that 4 dogs line 🤣🤣🤣
After the "four dogs" bit, my mind only thought of Kipperlily as a canine beastfolk. Despite knowing she's a halfling. 😅
