Hubby & I were in the car today , stopped & ate our lunch , we get this little country radio station , only in our car & this song came on , I wrote down the name of the song , got back home , looked it up on You Tube , have not stopped listening to them all afternoon , so beautiful , what makes it even better , their Irish xx

Surely one of the best songs ever recorded. What great voices and composition with the words that mean so much to many couples who have managed to keep going through it all , I didnt make it. but this song is inspiration.

PATPAUL, when you listen to country music like that,and listen to country music today there is just no comparison, what true professionals these two are ,timeless music that can be sung only by them,Philomena and Ray are the people that made Irish country music ,and are as good today as they were 30 years ago,God bless them .

Doe's any one out there know of a song by Ray Lynham and Philamena Begley singing "No Tomorrow for Yesterday's Dreams" I heard this on the Wally Whyton Country show programme on the U.K. Radio 2 country music, broadcast on a Thursday evening a long time ago. Try as I may I have never heard it played since that night. Sadly Wally passed away circa 1997 so we must be looking at around that time when I would record his programmes and the like, and then listen to them in my own time.
So, does anyone else do this "crazy" kind of compilations? I would be interested to hear from anyone out there a "Geek" like me.
If you know the song and can tell me where I might find it on "You tube" or some similar programme I would be most grateful
The song 'No Tomorrow For Yesterday's Dreams' was written by my father Stewart Ross, of Inverness, Scotland. Ray and Philomena, never recorded it. English singer Tony Goodacre did record it, both for an album and as a BBC Radio 2 session recording for Wally Whyton's country club programme. The BBC Radio 2 session version is far superior than the original draggy album version - but both recordings are now available to download.
