I was really looking forward to episode one, and y’all did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised at how long this was, although it didn’t seem like that was the plan. 😂 The discussion around Celaena’s negative reception by some readers was probably my favorite part. Personally, I think her tumultuous upbringing meant she HAD to be arrogant as a survival tactic. I can see why her demeanor may rub some folks the wrong way, but I do think it suits the character. She’s arrogant, but she’s a lot more than that too. I’d like to think most readers recognize that, especially if they read more than just Throne of Glass. Looking forward to next week!
