- Welcome back to Heavy Repping!
In this episode I broadcast from The Office, where I'm reviewing the Chicken Picks Bermuda III 2.7mm, a thermoplastic thriller with a grand feel.
Made by Eppo Franken in the Netherlands, these picks are hard-wearing, long-lasting and pretty grippy, with a mature, warm sound.
Eppo was the first maker to do an interview with me, and you can read all about it here:

All these chickenpicks produce a lot of stringnoise😒
All picks produce a degree of string noise - even the thinnest ones deliver a clicking when played softly. Anything over 1mm, especially with bevels this sloped, is going to make more noise, but played at gig pace it's less noticeable. Thicker stuff (north of 2mm) will always be more pronounced in that regard. Removing string noise completely is very difficult, though picks like the Ibanez Elastomer series are very good at it.
chicenpicks produce more stringnoise, bone picks too , some people like the scrtss
I do like the scrtss, but it is a personal thing. What do you normally play with?
Have you tried Wegenpicks or Jokko manouche picks
@@HeavyRepping lots off.. thick.. thin ..rasped, 7 mm Wegen, and 0.5 herco
