I have a couple of plant orders coming this week, and one order has a Glorious and a Gloriousum in it, so this is helpful timing! One is a climber and the other is a crawler, so I'm glad I have moss poles handy!
    Yours is gorgeous! ☺️

Ooh exciting! Love plant mail 😃 good luck with them! I'd put the glorious on a pole as soon as you can to encourage big leaf growth 💪🏼
Thank you so much for watching 💞

That's an awesome looking plant you've got there. I'd say it's glorious enough to be worth a second look! 🧀My plants aren't anywhere near as big as yours, but maybe one day I'll get close. Luckily I don't have a little winding staircase!
I'm wondering now if the volume maybe went a tad too far the other way, haha. Even so, my opinion is that it's much better than before. I skimmed around a bit, but I didn't catch any odd fluctuations. When comparing volumes before, I think I skipped over your Alocasia video. I think that one may also be a bit quiet, but it seems to be doing pretty well. I think most of your other videos are closer to this one. I'm not sure if there are suggestions somewhere for RUclips volume levels, but in my mind I think I'd aim for consistency in 2 areas:
    1) With RUclips making ads more prevalent than in years past, I think normalizing the volume with the ads is ideal. That way viewers aren't blasted when ads start or come to an end.
    2) Keep the volume level across all your videos in roughly the same place. Once you have enough content for viewers to binge for hours, you wouldn't want them to have to keep adjusting the volume from video to video. Maybe you can find a reference video that you think is a good volume for RUclips, then you can compare new vids you're editing to the reference one. I'm not sure if editing software can approximate dB levels, but maybe that'd simplify the process once you figure out what dBs you're targeting.
Jumping over to the intro, I wonder if the applause in the intro could be adjusted or swapped with something else. I wouldn't claim to be creative, and I don't make videos, but I'm not a huge fan of that one 😜It makes me think of an old PowerPoint sound effect.
These are definitely the opinions of a single viewer, but maybe you'll get something from them. I like to offer feedback on smaller channels I enjoy. If they succeed and grow, it means I get to keep watching! Big leafy plants are my jam, so I think this channel is right up my alley. I'm looking forward to some more! Cheers! 💚

Thanks for coming by a second time!
Haha nooo, I did worry about it being on the opposite end of the scale but it is an improvement from the quieter volume. I like the idea of the reference video for volume as I'm trying to match db levels with my editing software and I'm still finding it's not consistent.
I appreciate the intro sound not being something you like, however I think intros on RUclips are silly in general so I'm kinda making a joke about it haha 😇 I'll take it into consideration though.
Again thanks so much for the feedback! I'm a full time uni student who works part time, and I am hoping I can still find the time to make these videos frequently. I love plants and have learnt a lot over the years owning them 🪴

@@indoorplanthings Ah, that changes things. If you weren't aware that the intro was a bit cheesy, I just wanted to raise awareness. Now that I know it was done on purpose, I don't know that I can argue against it. I think everyone could use more intentional cheese in their lives.
I do wonder about intros in general. Maybe it's something learned from traditional cable. Perhaps TV networks have found greater success having a repeated intro. Especially when combined with a catchy theme song, I could see there be a psychological effect that gets someone more excited for the actual content. With RUclips typically having a longer format than other social media, that brief moment of familiarity might have some benefit. If someone's not paying attention to faces or channel names, maybe the intro could be the piece they recognize, causing them to stick around.
As for the audio and other things, you'll figure it out as you go. I think if you're doing this as a creative outlet that's more for the enjoyment of it, then I wouldn't sweat little things here and there. If you want silly intros, go for it! If you could see this becoming more of a business venture later on, I think polishing some rough edges will be good in the long run. Quality and consistency I think are pretty big on RUclips. Who knows where things will be years from now in the plant community and RUclips in general with all these AI tools being available. Whatever happens, I'd say have fun with it, and take in what experiences you can. 😁

Did you upload this video again with higher volume? Well done 😂 I watched it yesterday too :) I had my glorious on a green wall and within I couple months got to the top and was shading other plants, so I had to cut it. It turns out, money grows on trees and we didn’t know it 😂 thank you for your videos! I appreciate your efforts ;)

Yes money definitely grows on trees. I've made a fair bit from cuttings 😆
Thank you so much, means a lot 🫶🏼

really good tips. super stoked for mine to arrive. so you put straight aroid mix inside the moss pole and not sphagnum moss? I'm going to be picking up some smaller ones for my other philos that like to climb to get them started early

Aroid mix for your pot and sphagnum moss for the pole ☺️ yes, start the smaller ones early! Good luck with your glorious 💚
