My dad used to be in the military and missed a lot of important things because of it (such as my little sister's birth), but he still tried to be with us as much as possible. Now he works with a rail road company, and he is at home 12 days out of the month, but he still tries to make time for my sister and I. This guy said that he traveled around a lot, but from the sound of it, he didn't try to spend time with his 3 oldest daughters. And it also sounds like he doesn't spend a lot of time with his children even though he's not working at the docks anymore. This just made me upset and sad.

She can't even go out and she gets maybe 100 calls on average. This situation is way different than your life and you should be understanding for this woman.

Honestly, I couldn't watch the second concern. My mother had 10 children including me. We grow up in a civil war torn country and watched our relative and friend die before our eyes. We had nothing but we had my mother. She was really hard worker. She always had her own businesses and provided for all of us. Even though my dad helped, it was mom who created relationships, business and personal, with everyone we knew and was loved by all. My dad has always been a soft-spoken introvert that didn't get involved in the child rearing and the community and rarely worked to help my mom. I didn't know where I would be without her. Now that I am older, I really love and care for my mother the way she cared for us. I worked hard to build her a home and make sure I provide for her financial so that she never has to worry. In this story, I feel the most for the children. Even though their father worked to provide for them financially, they will come to resent him someday for his selfish ways and the way in which he treated their mother. They will, however, always remember what their mother did for them and the hardships she had to endure.

I just started watching this episode but I just wanna say that I'm so happy for Subin and her father!! When my mom and I ask my dad to change a bit and just help out more, he says and promises that he would but never does >_>
For the first concern I think the older sister should get a pet. She has so much love to give but she needs to be loved as well, and clearly her younger sister isnt willing to give her that love. so I think a pet is a good idea
Yeongja makes me cry so much from how genuinely caring she is and I wish I had a older sister like that well I do have an older sister but we never really talk and yeongja is like so down to earth and gives great advice just over all she is the one who takes these concerns wholeheartedly
The husband doesn't want to keep his wife around to make his life easier, he wants to keep her around so she doesn't meet a man a million times better than him. He's a terrible husband and any normal guy would know how to treat her better than him. He's obviously way too possessive, lazy and may even be abusive. Usually a sign of abuse is isolating the victim, cutting them off from their friends and family. I hope she got help.
That guy with glasses commenting about the cases... I think it was too early to jump to conclusions and say that the person has "this" or "that". Most of things he said were probably based on common sense and it was very irresponsible, considering that those families aren't going to have a proper help after the show (unfortunately the woman didn't have enough votes =( Each case has its owns personal problems and the program isn't long enough to cover it. He passed as a "professional", but as a psychology student, I though that some of his actions were very imprudent.

The sister in the first concern does what spouses tend to do to the other in abusive relationships. Controlling where you go, who you see, what you wear, and not allowing any privacy. Also getting mad over the littlest things the apologizing by acting sweet and giving gifts so you don't leave. The only difference here is that they're are family and sisters are harder to get away from

Woah...the 2nd concern is exactly my family..my mom does all the house work while my dad comes home and goes right to sleep. He is also overly obssessive. He used to work in another country while we were in our country. He would call her and ask her where she is all the time. At some time he wanted her to install skype on her phone just to see where she is when he wants to.My mom would also get sick of it and leave but...he would take it out on us, the children..... But well, if there is one difference is that my father actually threatened to kill my mom cuz he thought she had an affair.twice.....he even put an axe or knives to her neck right in front of us (I ran away with my little sister though)..he would get drunk and break things in the house. My mom stayed with him to raise us cuz she was afraid he would kill us. Now we're all living in this foreign country but my dad still has those kind of moments..he doesn't even care about how my mom or us feel or if we're sad or not. He's acting as if all those horrific things never happened and if I remember him about them he tells me to never mention it again. Not to mention we had a car accident the last month (not our fault at all, sb just went into us) and my little sister (10 yrs) had a surgery. Instead of being supportive he was all angry because of the car insurance. After that he started a fight again with my mom even though my little sister was still recovering from the surgery..even if I told him to calm down for her sake he didn't give a f*ck. And he's saying that the reason we don't love him as much as we love mom, is because my mom taught us how to stay away from him..

When the younger sister said the older was someone she didn't needed i felt so hurt. The older sister did step the line, but she had good intentions so i guess the younger should have called her out in a more gentle way.
Rewatching this and I've only realised how Touchy inseong was the whole time towards seungjun. I didnt the first time because the concerns were soooooo frustrating like crazy. I mean, they always have been Touchy and they kiss each other on the cheek and neck but they were really cute here. Lol

That could be an obsession special. The first concern was literally love gone too far. I mean, that was basically an abusive relationship in a familial environment. For the second concern, I thought Jung Wooyeol was great and really helpful in understanding the husband side (usually the guest are only there to promote so that was a nice change). The husband's clearly in the wrong with his actions but it was nice to see the panel try to understand both sides instead of just blaming one side without trying to understand what led the person to do what they did. And for once, the situation looked like it could actually change for the better in the future. For the third concern, the boss seems pretty lonely. He seems to mix his employees for his friends which would be nice if the feelings went both way and he was more considerate. Well, in the end, all of them are too self-centered and forget to take other's feelings into consideration, I think it can be resumed to that.

I’m crying while watching this..I’ve been doing a hello counselor marathon and this show seriously changes someone’s emotions faster than dramas 😅
The husband doesn't want to keep his wife around to make his life easier, he wants to keep her around so she doesn't meet a man a million times better than him. He's a terrible husband and any normal guy would know how to treat her better than him. He's obviously way too possessive, lazy and may even be abusive. Usually a sign of abuse is isolating the victim, cutting them off from their friends and family. I hope she got help.
That guy with glasses commenting about the cases... I think it was too early to jump to conclusions and say that the person has "this" or "that". Most of things he said were probably based on common sense and it was very irresponsible, considering that those families aren't going to have a proper help after the show (unfortunately the woman didn't have enough votes =( Each case has its owns personal problems and the program isn't long enough to cover it. He passed as a "professional", but as a psychology student, I though that some of his actions were very imprudent.

The sister in the first concern does what spouses tend to do to the other in abusive relationships. Controlling where you go, who you see, what you wear, and not allowing any privacy. Also getting mad over the littlest things the apologizing by acting sweet and giving gifts so you don't leave. The only difference here is that they're are family and sisters are harder to get away from

Woah...the 2nd concern is exactly my family..my mom does all the house work while my dad comes home and goes right to sleep. He is also overly obssessive. He used to work in another country while we were in our country. He would call her and ask her where she is all the time. At some time he wanted her to install skype on her phone just to see where she is when he wants to.My mom would also get sick of it and leave but...he would take it out on us, the children.....
But well, if there is one difference is that my father actually threatened to kill my mom cuz he thought she had an affair.twice.....he even put an axe or knives to her neck right in front of us (I ran away with my little sister though)..he would get drunk and break things in the house. My mom stayed with him to raise us cuz she was afraid he would kill us. Now we're all living in this foreign country but my dad still has those kind of moments..he doesn't even care about how my mom or us feel or if we're sad or not. He's acting as if all those horrific things never happened and if I remember him about them he tells me to never mention it again. Not to mention we had a car accident the last month (not our fault at all, sb just went into us) and my little sister (10 yrs) had a surgery. Instead of being supportive he was all angry because of the car insurance. After that he started a fight again with my mom even though my little sister was still recovering from the surgery..even if I told him to calm down for her sake he didn't give a f*ck. And he's saying that the reason we don't love him as much as we love mom, is because my mom taught us how to stay away from him..

When the younger sister said the older was someone she didn't needed i felt so hurt. The older sister did step the line, but she had good intentions so i guess the younger should have called her out in a more gentle way.
Rewatching this and I've only realised how Touchy inseong was the whole time towards seungjun. I didnt the first time because the concerns were soooooo frustrating like crazy. I mean, they always have been Touchy and they kiss each other on the cheek and neck but they were really cute here. Lol

That could be an obsession special. The first concern was literally love gone too far. I mean, that was basically an abusive relationship in a familial environment. For the second concern, I thought Jung Wooyeol was great and really helpful in understanding the husband side (usually the guest are only there to promote so that was a nice change). The husband's clearly in the wrong with his actions but it was nice to see the panel try to understand both sides instead of just blaming one side without trying to understand what led the person to do what they did. And for once, the situation looked like it could actually change for the better in the future. For the third concern, the boss seems pretty lonely. He seems to mix his employees for his friends which would be nice if the feelings went both way and he was more considerate.
Well, in the end, all of them are too self-centered and forget to take other's feelings into consideration, I think it can be resumed to that.
