I try to interpret my readings like this.... i think of it like a children’s book that just has pictures no words and you are reading to a child/your child and u use the pictures to make up a story literally from one picture to the next and use every thing in the picture to make the story interesting ..... the story will always change for each reader because each reader will see the pictures in the book/cards differently from another reader... that is how i do it 😌
I just bought my very first tarot cards. Always thought myself as a spiritual person. My dreams come true, especially about death. And always felt like something protects me all the time. So I'm new at tarot reading and thanks for not boring me with strict rules 💙
Damn… I did use my intuition and made it into a story. Looking at the tarot cards. I just opened up. Thank you for your advice and guidance. Yes a talk is going to come between me and the man I fell for. Wow!
OMG thank you so much for this! I'm a beginner and some of this I was very slowly picking up naturally and this gives me soo much confirmation that I'm on the right path and much needed clarity! I feel so confident right now!!
I hadn’t thought of looking at the cards like writing a story. I think this is a great way to look at it! This helps me with my creative writing skills as well!
Excellent advice. It not only makes reading and interpreting the cards easier, the concept of The Story makes it feel so much more interesting and meaningful. Good video!! 👌🏾
I am a new reader. I have been binging on your videos for HOURS!!! YOU ARE IT!!! I am already memorizing the Major Arcana and of course downloaded the cheat sheet. I love the fact that youre a firm believer and demonstrator on "your way, your cards, your spread, the way you feel". Put all my fears aside and now I feel confident and comfortable with all of my decks that I purchased. Thank you so much I am still going to continue watching your videos and not being afraid to be in the tarot world!! ☪️🕯️❤️♉💜
Very good video. I am overwhelmed by the celtic cross spread. The lantern spread I am more or less ok with but also gives a tone of info. So this spread should really suit me. I'll try it out. Thank you.
I Iike the 21 card Romani spread it's a more elaborate spread but follows the the same structure plus allows for someone without a question to develop one from the center of the spread.
Thank you for your whole series! I fell off of reading and am trying to get back in; your videos are giving me some added confidence and curiosity to resume something that used to give me a lot of happiness and satisfaction. I appreciate you!
Everytime i hear you say, “there’s no right way..only your way” feel so deeply reassured🤗. happy happy. one question, when you say ‘past’ how much in the past is it.. or in the future? Can past be like an hour ago? Can future be tomorrow? Is there a timeline? Cheers angie.
The Universe reveals truth. Reading the cards is not meant for character assassination, gossip or fear mongering. Tarot Reading expands, opens your mind, heart, spirit. Learning tools. The 3-card reading is very powerful and you can add more cards to (m)any of the three to clarify and expand the message. My Readings are free. Our abilities are not for sale. :--)
Thank you for this wonderful explanation, i would have never figured it out on my own how to read spreads. It gave some much needed insight as for interpretation and how to actually do it. I will be using this spread a lot in the future!
Whoaaaa... so i pulled my three cards and the same cards came out as in the video 😱 (In exchange for the Pentacles with the Swords) and different placements, but i thought that was pretty cool! 😆
what about “jumpers”? (i think they’re called) and how do people come across reversed cards? i know some of their meanings and all but practically, how do they come about? (also i am a completely new tarot reader, i used this video for my first ever reading)
Yay! Welcome to the wonderful world of tarot! Some people give extra meaning to jumpers. Personally, I'm such a terrible shuffler that cards jump All The Time, so I just ignore them. As a beginner, I suggest ignoring reversed cards for now - just turn the card upright when it shows up in a spread. There's plenty of time to learn the reversed meanings later!
Hi I would like to ask a question , regarding the Past Present Future, am I going to tell my client that “Hey this card is your past” before she pick it or I will say that this happened in your past once she picked it? am I going to decide what card is future?
It's up to you! I usually do the first card as the Past & the third as the Future (so it's determined beforehand). But you could do it on the fly as you go, too.
Everyone wants love readings lol am i the only one who rolls the eyes every time this is brought up lol. I like tarot for personal growth and global development. I am on a quest to be my absolute best. Love is a distraction and has always left me disappointed.
Yeah, love is definitely one of the most common tarot topics, for sure! There are so many good lessons to learn through the process of loving and being loved, and all that goes with it. 😘
Thanks so much, and great video for beginners like me!!! I have one question though, does all three cards being the suit of pentacles have any significance in a three card spread? 😊
Can i do this even if i just practice or is the cards directly connected to me? Because from what i can understand it will always point in the SAME way nomatter what for that person, how do i make the cards neutral and just for practice??
Every reading you do is practice for the next one, even if you're only reading for yourself. If you're looking to get a diverse experience, then you have to do lots of different types of readings for different people. Hope that helps!
First of all, you are adorable! I’m embarrassed to say I am not quite understanding the three card spread sheet. I don’t understand what option #1 option #2, etc mean. I’m sure it’s incredibly simple to understand, but sometimes this girl needs help getting out of a wet paper sac!
Aww, thanks! It's not you - I just didn't explain it. 🤔 Option #1/Option#2 is for when you are either trying to decide between 2 things (the options), or when you are brainstorming ideas (with each option being a different idea or way of looking at the problem). It's super flexible, and can be used for a lot of different situations. Hope that helps!
I engage in various prolific investment by compound interest & leveraging and as well operating with an investment professional Claudia Vecchi Nese, So far I've attained returns of $80k last month
No doubt Mrs Claudia Vecchi Nese Trading services is very good, I invested $20,000 and cashed out $57,700 after 11 days. I still wonder how they get their analysis.
When you are doing a 3 card spread do you think of one thing and pull 3 cards, or do you think what is my problem, pull a card, where am I at with it, pull a card, how can I resolve it, pull a card? I hope that question makes sense. Maybe different people do it different ways? I am used to just doing one card pulls because I am not sure the correct way to form the question for 3 cards
Personally, I do it with one question for all 3 cards. But I think the other way would work, too. When you do it with one question, you can either give each of the 3 cards a role (like Past-Present-Future) or you can read all 3 together as one story. There's no right or wrong way! 😘
I think it would have been helpful to have more specific examples and illustrations throughout the video. Though the ideas were straightforward, this wasn't as helpful as I was hoping it would be.
For myself, I usually read upright when I want a quick reading, and I include reversals when I want to go deeper. For beginners, I recommend starting with upright cards, and adding in reversals once you're comfortable reading multiple cards together. Hope that helps!
@@TheSimpleTarot If you read upright only, is there a chance of missing the message the reversed card is trying to give? I love your videos and you have helped me so much, but I'm a little confused by this. Thank you for your great videos!
@@Shin-uc7gh I don't believe you lose out on anything by reading upright only. The reversals DO add depth, but I don't think they're necessary. Also, I always "tell" my cards which way I'm going to be reading before I shuffle them, so I set my intentions of the reading before I start.
Using your intuition is a STRONG part of being a good tarot reader. It does help to learn the tarot card meanings, but that can happen naturally as you continue to read the cards. Have fun! 😘
1. Him: the star. (he wants to feel like a star maybe), 2. Me: nine of wands (I'm doing all the work, but I'm kinda proud of it bc I like investing in relationships), 3. IRL CONTEXT ----> He just wants to be friends, I'm kinda okay with whatever but didn't really believe him, now I do because he got upset with me that I didn't believe him... but I'm not sure what these cards mean... We're meeting up soon, maybe for a drink??? Two of cups... We'll see haha. I'll have to come back to this reading in a week or so to see if we got that drink.
I love your videos. You make tarot reading sound so easy. I know i need to be mote confident and trust my instincts more. I think i also over-think it. Thank you gor helping us understand more.

I loved how u called the Celtic Cross sexy! Never heard anyone call it that! 😂
Ha! But it IS!!! (So is the 3-card, though. I think that's the sexiest of them all!)

After shuffling, do you pull your cards from the top of the deck, more randomly, or spread them out in a fan and pull the ones you're more drawn to?
I pull from the top, but there's no right way or wrong way to do it.

You reading cards only right, or right and reversed ? You cut cards after shuffle ? If you cut in two , three, or more ?
OMG THANKS YOU ARE THE BEST❤️❤️❤️
Thank you💜
I really wish I could get my hands on these cards used in the video 😢
Can you change up to Present, near future, future spread?
