My first rebuild of CFB 25 is with Kennesaw State! We scout and recruit players in College Football 25's Dynasty mode. We utilize the transfer portal and coach abilities to build up this one star school into a championship contender. Let's have some fun

I was in the inaugural marching band at Kennesaw and it was awesome to see how they accurately captured the run out through the band towards the home side. It might not have been hard to put in but it meant a lot to a former Owl!

The joy of seeing you have the ability to pump up the crowd on defense is amazing. Small little things like that made the old games amazing and I love the attention to details!
Yeah idk why they ever even took this feature out. Can you still quiet the crowd down when you’re on offense??

1:11:40 seeing the receiver COME BACK and make a block is so nice to see, especially with Madden having the players just stand there or run to the end zone
Line play was going to be my biggest worry, especially since the great difference in good linemen and bad ones in college
I don’t know, in Madden 23, I always see my WRs/TEs make key blocks. For example, they shift their focus from blocking a defender momentarily to pick an individual who’s in danger of tackling me, whenever I’m user-controlling ball-carriers on run plays.
They literally just run to the end zone half the time though..... lol

3 star prospects are so underrated in a rebuild. Some of them used to end up better than the higher caliber players, wonder if this game has those "breakout" scenarios
It does, there will be 3* with star and impact development
Since they added development ratings it should be more dynamic than NCAA 14, with 5 stars sometimes developing slowly and 3 stars developing quickly instead of every player getting a consistent +5ovr every season
@@manwithnewname yea I remember the occasional +8 breakout guys or whatever the max was. I'm looking forward to it. I caught a glimpse of storylines I throughout which adds another layer of fire like the newspaper did

This was a phenomenal rebuild, loved the story!
The perfect redemption arc in the final CFP defeating Nebraska who beat you two year prior and getting over Georgia who was your first real test as a ranked opponent. Cinema
Seeing your teammates efficiently go for fumble recoveries brings a tear to my eye.

@@jezoa they won’t 🤣 I had to turn my blocking sliders up to 53. Also lowered the CPU’s run blocking to 48

LoL the second NIL became a thing it was only a matter of time for this game to be released. I can promise you that no individual streamer/uploader had anything more to do with this game being released than you or I did.
I’ve bought this game every single year on the day of release since 1992 when this game was Bill Walsh College Football on the sega genesis.
And none of us had anything to do with this. It was NIL and ONLY NIL.

So glad to hear about the day 1 recruiting patch. Again, way too many high caliber prospects not getting looks from higher programs.
If you want realism put some pads on. It’s a video game it’s supposed to be cheesy at times
@@KidArsenicit quite literally is meant to be a simulation lol. People play for different reasons. Some people really enjoy realism. If you like going 14-0 every year while winning by 30 points every game... then go for it. Those of us that enjoy a challenge would prefer some tweaks

I remember doing a team builder with Kennesaw back in 2019 on my old channel cause you inspired me with UGF, full cycle moment man
The dev mentioned the the difference between 4-5 stars and 1-3 stars and boy is that wildly apparent in your videos; super cool tbh. Also like seeing the more in depth coverage of recruiting here
Watching some of these throws that’d be INTs in Madden or NCAA 14 makes me want this game so much more
The throwing & running mechanics are superb

Being a student at KSU and seeing all these people rebuild them and bring them to glory makes me so happy cause we are so terrible
Back in 2014, I didn’t realize how much the state of football talking would change. 11 years later, we are down to 5 hours!!! My family already knows that by the moment I get home, I will be playing this 🤣🤣🤣

I was a freshman at KSU the year the football program started, crazy to see where we’ve come in less than a decade

The hype is real. I remember playing NCAA 09 when I was younger, then discovering CFR through this channel. Now we have a brand new official game in over 10 years.

Preston Daniels is a fullback playing Tight End for Kennesaw State. 5’11 260.
Out of necessity, given the transition from Triple Option to Pistol.
A couple of points for more badass videos in the future:
1. PI in CFB has always been a 15 yard and automatic first down penalty. Spot foul PI is only in the NFL.
2. You could have actually played Beebe because the game follows the new redshirt rule in CFB, which allows redshirted players to play in four games during the year.
3. The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm award is actually a real award as well, but since the named awards like the Davey O’Brien and Thorpe and so on didn’t agree to be in the game, they used this as the best QB award.

@@jolamber lol that's not the point buddy, it's a video game. There's in-game reasons for why he was able to land those recruits. You haven't even played it yet to know whether it's balanced or not and you're calling for a patch based on edited-down rebuild videos.

@@jolamber yeah cause he didn't sim the games, he played them. Just turn up the gameplay difficulty. His OVR was nowhere close to competing with the top schools in simulation and his recruits didn't even develop yet.
I was walking around my job site today and I overhead one of the workers listening to this vid as they worked. I couldn’t wait to get home and watch.

small detail, but the scoreboard being on the bottom instead of the top like in Madden makes a huge difference imo, Madden one feels in the way of the play sometimes

Dude, if you are recording the commentary while you’re playing these games, you’re the most patient man on the planet. When I’m recording stuff like this, I guess it’s different when you’re live, but like I rage. You throw an interception you’re like “man that’s a bummer”, and I sound like bandits from home alone, “razzle frazzlefrazzle mother frazzle”
Better than Bordeaux's but I'm rolling my eyes a bit how quick these 1 star rebuilds are. Might have to impose challenges on myself to make the game feel tougher.
Mainly due to the time constraints we had in early access. I don’t physically have time to do a 10+ year rebuild that would take over a month to record and edit if I was playing most of the games with difficult settings

Obviously you can’t make it 100% realistic though, not only cause it’d be really hard to make in the game, but to make it fully realistic that would mean it’d be pretty much impossible for a bad team to compete for anything, and that would be really boring.
@@scapermid282 I'm not asking for 100% realism obviously, some things have looked TOO easy though. Hoping there's a recruiting difficulty option. I just don't want to get ready for an immersed dynasty just to win a national championship in year 3.
I'm assuming in a month or two anyway we're all gonna know the way to cheese the game on the hardest difficulties. So implementing self imposed challenges will probably come into play regardless.
Growing up in Kennesaw I would have never thought that town will start getting some recognition.

I mean it’s a video game at the end of the day. They have to give you a chance to win at it, also the cover athlete literally went to a hbcu and transferred to bum ass Colorado so it does happen and with NIL a lot of guys are going to stay home

Maybe they could add a monetary element into the game with you balancing your program budget on facilities upgrades or NIL recruiting buffs
Don’t get me wrong this game looks great and im jealous I don’t have a next gen to play it (yet) I’m just thinking for the future
Yeah that'd be cool, foundations already in Madden so it should be possible. Seems like they're leaving some things to expand on in the future, like high school road to glory.

It seems like, as a lower end school,doing as much as you can in the pre-season is the best way to recruit.
When you mentioned how quick and fluid changing direction feels it got me so excited. One of my biggest issues with madden is how stiff and robotic it feels. Theres no humanness to it. Its not dynamic. You feel like a video game character playing video game football, not a person playing real football. Cant wait to see how it plays in a couple hours
NTE is so influential in the ncaa football games that college football 25 has put two of his dynasty teams in the game! The UGF pandas and the DVSU dingos are fcs teams in this game

Both QB's against UGF reminded me of playing against the JV and freshman teams in practice. We would go through their offensive line like a hot knife in butter. Our skill positions guys were vastly better athletes. No disrespect to anyone grinding it out, of course. They work hard and are part of the team like everyone else. I hate to belittle anyone. They weren't very good though. 😂

Kennesaw State played 9 games last year while they were still in the FCS. They only won 3 games and they were all against Division 2 opponents. They are coming up to the FBS without having a single FCS win from the previous year. So if you're looking for a challenge...
Wait so why did they get moved up when there’s better FCS teams?
@@jaym7901 teams don't get moved up, they can apply for moving up and as long they pass a few requirements, like having a big enough stadium for example, and fork over enough money then they're allowed.

There's a LOT of missing context in those numbers. Chief among them, KSU was an independent their final year of FCS due to some weirdness with the conference they were leaving basically rebuilding without them. Add to the lame duck season with no chance of playing for a post-season, a LOT of players got redshirted. Basically a full season of glorified scrimmages. Also, the team switched from full triple option to 'pistol' offense with new coordinators, so really, no one really knows how their season is going to go.
