Ive built 3 D-VII so far. All 3 channel versions. Still on the learning curve for foam and this type of construction. I only use UHU Por glue. Because I can use Nalptha to take it apart and fix my screwups. They all fly great. We only have a half gym to fly. I really don't see any need to add ailerons to these small models. It just adds weight. Lightness is a key to success. I have also built 3 SE5a, 1 Brisfit, and 1 DR1. I have a pile of them waiting for assembly.
My D7 is the rudder/elevator version and she flies like she's on rails, even in a little wind she's a delight!
Great to know Cliff, it's clearly a very well thought out design. Foam building is completely new to me but that's part of the attraction.
Should be perfect for flying indoors. Cliff is a master at building Micro Aces kits. Jeff in LA USA
Looking forward to the build

Sounds like a load of fun
Those guys are MicroAces are amazing. I want to buy 1 of everything!
Some lovely models
Oooo,Ahhhhh!
why bother with RC. Free flight rubber is fun , cheaper, and requires ability to teach model to fly. This is called adjusting.
I enjoyed ff for a long time if I had access to a suitable site and if my knees had not given up 😂 Id still be doing it.
