You have the luxury of opening a 3k+ dollar case and you get that disappointed that you didn’t pull the bedard clear cut young guns? You know the odds so really it’s not that shocking. Yes agreed after this year I’m done as well. I haven’t bought a hobby box since Makar’s year 2019-2020 and it hurts to to think of paying high amount for this year.
This is it for me after this year...UD and the distributors taking total advantage of collectors and they need to be punished next year by boycotting boxed product for the entirety of 24-25 season...give them the same love they are giving us right now.
$120 up to $300+ is just an FU to collectors. Aaaand their QC on cards is unacceptable. It has turned me off too.

@@jean-luc-bedard Truth in that statement, but trust me, us pre-covid collectors weren't the ones driving the prices through the roof, it's the new guys that decided to get back into collecting during covid that are responsible for a lot of the bs going on the last 3 years, including the massive proce increase and lackluster products.

When you pay almost 3’gs for a case and so far the average is 1 bedard per case, it’s a pretty substantial loss of close to 2 g’s

I haven't even been able to get a box of either. The shops have to prices jacked up to more than double what the should have been.

I've never seen a dude pull 1k cards of bedard left and right from loose packs then immediately gets salty. Really bad look being this butthurt
I've seen about 50 Bedards get pulled and I can't recall Lohrei not being in a box with Bedard.
It's always like that, also when you open a case, almost always the case hit is the top right box...which if you watch alot of group box break channels, you don't see them open the case...cuz they already took the top box

The last packs I opened were over 30 years ago, 1990 Score hockey looking for the Lindros rookie. I am not saying the Bedard YG will be a bust like that card but I will wait a while and after the prices drop I might buy a Bedard YG. I only buy singles nowadays because opening packs is just a lottery that I don't have the luck for.
I remember the chase for Lindros in Score hockey back in 1990 as well lol. I was 18 years old and was hoping so bad to land a Lindros. Ah, good old days.

The greed and money aspect has ruined card collecting for most regular people now. Its just another scam lottery. I remember paying 100 bucks for a box back in the day and even that was a rip off. Theyre asking almost 400 bucks for a box of cards. Its utter insanity and sillyness.

A case on average holds 1 bedard…if you bought 6 theoretically you had a 50% chance…UD has screwed us all 😂 people who get a case typically take a loss anyways.
