My son is new to hockey and my neighbor collects cards as an income. I went all in $$2000 on hobby and mega boxes. Got sucked in and couldn’t stop. Over 100 young guns. I got all the top guys except ….. Bedard and Benson. I’m going to take others advice and stick to singles and watching channels like this for my excitement!!!
For fun, stick to the lower end hobby, which is definitely harder now, but I bought a team canada juniors and pulled a messier auto /3 not huge card people are after but as an edm fan it was worth it
#Bedard Upper Deck is obviously taking advantage of this opportunity. From the case breaks I've watched so far (not just Series 2, but SPGU, OPC) there's usually only 1 or 2 Bedards cards in general. The crumby part is if you're fortunate enough to hit one of them there's still no guarantee you break even.

When #bedard was injured the Hawks were supposed to play Vancouver. Heard some concessions gave out free food to the hawks fans who paid $400/ticket for him to not show up.
