I don't care what anyone says, I think Nina left the show because of her relationship with Ian. You can tell from interviews that there was some obvious bad blood between them, especially from Ian.

I think she left because it was uncomfortable. There's been interviews where Ian has had an adittude in reference to Nina and Nikki was always on set. Just imagine seeing your ex and friend all snuggled up and kissing everyday and have to deal with the annimosity of your ex everyday. He was upset she didn't want what he wanted when he wanted it. I've never once heard her say anything negative about him or have an adittude about him. Still love them both but yeah this is why you don't date coworkers
Yes, there was definitely tension there. Look up the TVD 2015 comic con interview with the cast. Ian clearly didn't want Nina to come back. Everyone who denies that there was tension between them is lying to themselves.
Well leaving just because of their break-up would have been immature, but in his interviews he seemed like he still had a grudge, not to mention the fact he married her friend, but that's what you get for dating your coworkers, but even when people know better they still do it, it's a part of youth
For me Nina & Ian’s relationship outside tvd ruined the show because it was awkward watching them get close especially in S8. Moments were they should have really embraced each other like they did in previous seasons did not happen. After S4 tvd storylines turned pretty shitty, but the actors were great!
MissIvery14 I agree, they did really well in past seasons, even season 6 I still felt the chemistry and passion between Elena and Damon. They still kept it up as best as they could but I wish they could have tried to do the same season 8, Nina for me definitely had more emotion than Ian did, but still it wasn’t the same sadly.
I stopped watching the show after season 4. I could not do the storylines after that. It got too weird for me with how they were bringing people back and killing them off and having people "switch" bodies, and introducing new characters. It just got so tiring after a bit. I kept up with a few of the storylines here and there from articles, but other than that I quit the show and moved onto watching the originals.
I mean he was married by then so imagine having to kiss your ex girlfriend then pretend to be married I think they did great I cried so it worked for me
Well, 1.She wasn't in the last 2, so if people who know nothing can shush, that would be great. 2.NOBODY likes Elena. She is a horrible character and was not missed. The show became bad long before she left. 3.The reason people liked Nina is because of the way she portrayed Katherine, not Elena.
Yes, at least all of season 8 but Nina didn’t make it happen, I lost respect for her as an actress for not sticking it through the series like she should have
yeah but Karen lets remember she signed a contract that she would do press for the movies she was in at the time. Otherwise she would of returned to the show. I mean it is not her fault what happened and in regards to her leaving the show well I am not the biggest Nina fan out there but I can't really blame her for leaving cause it must of been well awks having an onscreen relationship with Damon when her and Ian had just split and he was dating someone she kind of knew Niki Reed. For sure we can all say she should of kept it professional but it is never that easy to do. Most people are able to walk away from an ex after having a long term relationship. Sorry but Julie Plec should of split Damon and Elena up the moment Nina and Ian split. The only reason she didn't is cause she thought the relationship was keeping a lot of the young fans interested in the show and it turns out that was a massive mistake. Sorry this message wasn't supposed to me as long but anyways have a fab weekend.
She originally signed up for 6 season because she wanted to do more with her acting career than just being known for her role as Elena. She’s said this from the beginning in a few interviews. It wasn’t because of Ian, they were cool with one another after their split. Things only started heating up once Ian started dating Niki and the fans gave their relationship shit. Ian started getting colder to people whenever they brought her up, while Nina was always polite and professional.
The thing is though, Nina never wanted to be in a super long term tv show. She wanted to do more with her career, so how can you fault her for that? She still has to work really hard at this job and towards the end she wasn't happy with it. Whether it's because of the people on set or she simply thought the story lost it's wow factor. So why be in another season which means another year of her life doing something she doesn't want to do.
Nina and Paul in my opinion. Matt Davis pulled off being Klaus (in Alaric's body) and being evil Alaric really well. And Ian's dialogue delivery is really good.
Not really, I think Dobrev was since she did an amazing job playing Elena, Katherine and Amara. She even did Elena with human switch off and it was nothing like Katherine, she also did Katherine pretending to be Elena and she was surprisingly good where other major actors fall short. Paul's version of Silas was not that different from Stefan with human switch off on the other hand.
TVD suffered for being a redundant romance drama where all the interesting characters were put on the back burner. Plus, the Originals was better and darker. The moment they left, the story went downhill. Elena becoming sleeping beauty + Nina leaving made it worse.
I don’t care what anyone says but all the seasons were amazing. Yes some seasons were better then others but honestly the Salvatore brothers were what made this show and stayed throughout the whole show. I’m so inlove with this cast and wish more seasons were made :( #Delena
Not from the critics hahaha ... they said the show got better after season 4 because they left being pretty romantic to be pretty dark and mature. Pathetically fans wanted to watch romantic scenes ... Pathetic girls
Kai was the ONLY good thing about the later seasons. Kevin is like the Stefan and Julie is like the Damon. Or alternatively Kevin is the Mikaelsons and Julie was the Salvatores
Really? I don't know how much stock i should put into that, considering all of Kevin's shows besides TVD and Dawson's Creek have failed miserably. I have no doubt in my mind that Plec was responsible for the super toxic Delena pairing, but i don't think its failures are her fault alone.
Aaaand nothing about the ill mistreatment of Kat Graham by Julie Plec? Kat told Julie season 8 was her exit season cuz she's done with the show. Julie seemed surprised, because she claimed that they haven't found out from the studios if there's going to be another, yet. And there wasn't. Is it a coincidence that both Kat and Ian, who are best friends in real life, both said they were leaving, or was there a pow wow about it? Ian said, himself, that Damon and Bonnie should get something going on together in the other realm. He was ready for their dynamic to go forward. They had amazing chemistry. Kat has said that she loved getting any time to work with Ian because they were on the same mind level and worked great together. Julie fucked up Bamon, like it was end game in the books, because she was vicariously living through Elena. She actually said, "Yes. They killed Enzo, Bonnie's love interest, but she got her powers back....so it was sort of a trade off, because I think she is now all powerful and it's a good thing." No. She needed Bonnie's powers back so she could be in servitude of Julie's faves to get their happy ending. And she wanted to stick it to Bonnie's fan base one more time.
If you're ever in the Atlanta area you should definitely check out Covington, GA. There's a woman that runs the TVD tours there and she also does a lot of work with Ian Somerhalder's Foundation. The cast used to rehearse lines where she currently runs a gift shop. You get to see a lot but my favorite was the Lockwood's mansion. There's a very nice gay couple that lives there and they let the tour company go through the backyard where the masquerade was held. The couple even hung out with us for a bit and showed us behind-the-scenes pictures. Even if you're not a big TVD fan it's a very cute town to visit, lots of Victorian houses and cute shops. The locals are very nice as well and have really leaned into being "Mystic Falls." BTW Conyers, GA is about 10 minutes from Covington-it's where The Originals was filmed. I think the same company does tours there too. I didn't do the tour. I went on a Sunday (they don't film on weekends) there were set decorations up for madi gras and security wouldn't let us walked down a certain street to avoid spoilers. There were also building an ice rink for the show. I haven't seen the latest scene but I hope Elijah is ice skating haha.
They shut down a block because they didn't want people taking pictures or messing with the props. The security guard was nice about it and let us look from where we were standing as long we didn't take pictures. City's give out permits so they can shut down a block.
So cool!!! I am flying to Atlanta in March and really want to visit all things TVD in Covington! Do you know if it's possible to get there by public transit from the airport?
Season 1 - season 3 were TVD's best seasons. THen it went downhill, FANSERVICE at its finest. Storyline wasn't good anymore and things became somehow predictable. So sad to see the show I once loved to become *coughs* trash *coughs*
The Originals followed the same path to be honest. It was great for the first two seasons, became really slow and repetitive in the third, and i'm not too sure what to think of the fourth. It was an improvement at least, even if a small one.
Amie What do you mean by more darker and mature? TO is more mature than the last few seasons of TVD, because those were a complete disaster, perhaps. But TO is very similar. In my case, i couldn't stand all of that crap with The Strix. They reminded too much of The Travellers, which royally sucked as well, imo. Season 4 wasn't bad, it was just awfully short. I still wasn't as excited for it as i was for season 2, for example.
Not from the critics hahaha ... they said the show got better after season 4 because they left being pretty romantic to be pretty dark and mature. Pathetically fans wanted to watch romantic scenes ... Pathetic girls.
Honestly? Stefan and Elena should have been endgame. When Elena became human again should should have been with him. And Caroline and Stefan were the worst couple on the show. Klaus and Caroline should have made it, although I did love her and Tyler together.
Omg I've waited so long for that kind of comment I absolutely agree with you. Steroline was terrible I didn't like them together as a couple I just liked them as best friends
I hate to disagree with that statement. I personally found the series better in some area's witht he focus more on Damon and Stefan instead of Elena. But that also has to do with the fact that i didn't think Elena was one of the better character.
Have to agree with that. The first season of The Originals was exactly all the thing that TVD should have been. But sadly when a series airs on a network such as The CW you get all the teenage drama which they throw in almost every show.
Honestly this will always be my favorite show ever, I loved every season of it the same, It felt weird and different without the main character, Nina dobrev, not being involved in the show for the next two season other than the very last episode but nonetheless it was an amazing TV series, I have never cried more in my entire life span than the amount of crying I have done watching that show and I literally cried for about 90% of the last episode, I was sobbing uncontrollably basically the whole time
Same, I still say though that the show could’ve been better if she stayed but was still great even when she wasn’t in it and the world and the show can’t evolve around nina’s bs reasons for wanting to leave the show so early
It's past midnight and i have a final exam in 7hours. I should NOT be in here but i couldn't help it. Nicki Swift if wake up late tomorrow then it's all on you cuz i've been watching your video for hours now.
so true I was gutted when kevin left the show cause it was his baby. I know he left for personal reasons but once Caroline Dries and Julie started writing for the show it went to crap. Makes me lol when ever Paul Wesley talks about the show cause even though he tries to be subtle about how they ruined the Stelena relationship and Steroline was just so so etc. You can tell that he knows the writing went to crap on the show and I am sure he was so happy when the show ended but I was super grateful that the boys continued on with the show even after Nina left. :)
Crappy writing + fan service = bad show Pity that Caroline and Julie couldn't understand that. I've rewatched the series and you can clearly see the difference between the seasons with Kevin
I LOVE THE VAMPIRE DIARIES! I watched 8x16 and instantly back to 1x01.. I just can’t live without my daily dose of the Salvatore brothers.. anyone else?🙋🏼♀️
I know right? Don't even get me started. They didn't end up together because Nina left the show after season 6, but I can't help but feel that the reason she left the show is because of her failed relationship with Ian. There was some very obvious bad blood between them, especially coming from Ian.
Nevel Papperman agreed I think thats the real reason, i wouldnt want to work with an ex that started dating my friend. Lowkey wish Damon was the one to leave, but at least Nina has done well for herself being in flatliners and other movies
Cookie Monster This doesn't have to be a Stelena Delena thing. Stefan was the better man, not for Elena he was just the better man in general in everything. He was just better. It's not a Stelena Delena thing, it's just Stefan on his own as a person not in a relationship with anyone he was just better.
Lol bullshit I loved damon stefan was a fuckin edward I couldn't stand him I would fall in love with damon way before stefan I see stefan as a really good friend whenever I watch the shows damon just had more appeal and in the beginning seasons he is really evil but he never claimed to be good him filiming on set is amazing honestly the scenes of him eith vicky were cute
The last season sucked, but was still worthy to watch, considering the fact thatI put so many into getting to know and love the characters. I was wondering why Nina wasn't there as much, makes sense now.
Brooke... so basically Stelena was end game but because Nina couldn't partake in the whole last season they had to make Delena endgame. Delena was the understudy. That makes me sad.
exactly Laura. I know a lot of Delena fans who were not happy with there Delena cause there was no wedding scene etc and tbh even though I was not a Delena shipper if they were gonna make them endgame well it should of been epic. Basically don't watch the final episode. Honestly it will disturb your mind. Ha ha. Even though it is a comedy I would highly recommend, if you're not watching New Girl it it is a comedy but such an epic show. Teen Wolf is pretty dope and depending on how old you The Good Wife had some pretty amazing episode. Same goes for Prison Break..
You can still watch the show I mean there is a lot of content on tvd. 8 season worth. TVD will always be one of my favs to watch but Julie and Caroline Dries just screwed up a lot of things with the show but Chris Wood etc was amazing in Tvd. Take care.
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 I concur. They made it the Elena show. ...Julie Plec's obsession to live vicariously through her. They could have finally focused on other ignored characters...namely, Bonnie. Her and Damon should have happened as endgame. They should have had several love triangles for her like the other two women did. She should have had juicier plot lines. The sirens addition sucked ass. So did the Cade thing. I was ok with the Katherine coming back to raise some hell. Figuratively and literally. I was livid that Julie took away Enzo just to give Bonnie her powers back to save their sorry asses, for the thousandth time. She tried to play it off with a bullshit statement that made it seem like a fair trade off. "Enzo dies, yeah...sure. But at least we gave her back her powers and she is strong." It's like really, bitch! You don't think we can't see through that "magical negro " handy trope you love to pull with saving your faves with servitude and sacrifice from Bonnie? Foh!!
blackkatt777 You are serving me ALLLLL the realness 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I feel the exact same way. Julie Plec’s treatment of Bonnie was so transparent, it was disgusting to watch at some points. I will always say that Damon and Bonnie should’ve been endgame. They’ve always had the most chemistry, even in the beginning of the show
agree to disagree. I haven't watched since the finale, but I think the show did falter a bit at the end, but I recall thinking season 1 was one of the worst. that stuff with the one girl with the dagger was the worst! so many plot holes. they knock her out but leave the blade all the time. I liked silas a lot though. never cared for the romances...unpopular opinion.
I’m just gonna say this show changed my life for forever . This shows literally changed my life to the bone . So did The Originals ... I want to move to New Orleans and live my life there ... a city with so much history , mystery
I watched that show from the very beginning to the end. I read many articles where people said they were once fans but gave up on that show. I was with it to the very end. Yes, the material wasn't as great as early seasons but it was a good show. It got me through my second deployment and I even got a few of my battle buddies turned on to that show. I was sad to see it come to an end. I don't know, maybe I will watch it from the beginning on Netflix. I can't believe no one has come out with a replacement series. Something supernatural wise or something similar to that show. The CW has shifted its programming from what I can tell.
She didn't die until the last episode of the whole series where it shows them all in the future in some after life like place so, if you're talking about when she was asleep and linked to Bonnie then you should be more specific
I didnt know bieng a fan meant Stalking the actors and actresses and saying "Its Not a secret" because not all of us have so much spare time to the point where we know every detail about an actress or actor and you shouldn't go around saying "youre just triggered because youre not a true fan" because so WHAT if they didnt know a couple facts about the show or actors all of sudden they're not true fans?!
stopped watching the originals in season 3. Was expecting so much better from the show. Have seen a few eps of season 4 but kept on falling asleep through out the eps. Only good thing about season 5 is we will see a lot of Nate's and Claire's character but knowing Phoebe is not going to be in every ep cause she was busy doing other things and she won't even be in the final ep. Well I have little hopes for the show. Also I have no time for the Caroline BS.
For me, season 1-3 were the best because of the love triangle, then it just became Damon as the sole focus and I got bored, they should of had her still bouncing between the two brothers, and then ultimately ending up with Stefan
So true....I loved the love triangle....after season 4 , it felt like Elena's feelings for Stefan was stopped... it was all about Damon and Elena and Stefan was left out..then they tried to pair him up with Caroline and show became more shitty . I stopped watching it after season 6
Jessica same! Out of 8 seasons I cried about 25 times😂 I’m just so emotional when it comes to love and Damon, Elena, and Stephan are amazing and Damon and Stephan are just so goddamn good looking!😫😍😂
Everyone is saying season 8 was horrible without Nina but I found it better because her character was just annoying, and just not a good character in general
Anissa Ferioli Season 8 was horrible but not because Nina left. Because Nina wasn't there for season 7 and season 7 was actually a really good season, the best season since season 3. Season 8 was just awful I don't know why, it just was.
I loved the last episode of the Vampire Diaries. It was redemption with deep respect, between the brothers. I 'm hoping the Originals end the same way.
Lord Sebastian, thanks for the info. I hope Klaus does find happiness with Karoline. The same goes for Elijah and Cole, Rebecca, Marcell, and the rest of the family. But then again, its how Julie Plec and the other staff writers end the show. You know the old saying, out with a bang.
What's with all this hatred towards Julie Plec? A lot of people have been saying how she ruined the show and how they hate her blah blah blah... But how can you hate someone without knowing them? Sure, you might think that TVD went downhill after Kevin Williamson left and decided to blame Julie for it. But in case you didn't hear properly or just decided to ignore it, without Julie Plec, TVD wouldn't have been brought to life. It was her who changed Kevin's mind. And who cares if some of you didn't like how some of the seasons went or who ended up with who, as viewers it's not up to us what happens on the show, we can either watch it and like it, or if you don't like it then don't watch it, I don't really care. Just stop with this hatred and imagine how saying all this negative stuff would make Julie feel
Yeah, I get that but that doesn't mean that the writing and the show didn't go to shit when Kevin left. Whether Julie is at fault or no it still happened.
Heather Lindsey I kinda agree they should of just done the usual 22 eps it would of been cool to see a bit of the human life between Damon and Elena and maybe Caroline and Alaric in the school
yeah and they literally brought back katherine to just kill her over and over again, what was the point? It took them 5 seasons to kill her then they kill her several times within one episode like wtf
I just brought myself to finish the last two episodes last night, I held it for so long !!! But I finally did it, and what an ending it had, I was in tears !

I like vampire diaries but Nina should of been in all the season 8.
Brooke Season 8 should of had Elena through the whole season because Daman was so sad and lonely without Elena.
I think Paul Wesley was the best actor for vampire diaries
Yeah same. Paul Wesley is the best in tvd.
Dobrev
mandy smith No way
....Nina and Ian were the best Actors and Also JoMo
Nina and Paul in my opinion.
Matt Davis pulled off being Klaus (in Alaric's body) and being evil Alaric really well. And Ian's dialogue delivery is really good.
Not really, I think Dobrev was since she did an amazing job playing Elena, Katherine and Amara. She even did Elena with human switch off and it was nothing like Katherine, she also did Katherine pretending to be Elena and she was surprisingly good where other major actors fall short. Paul's version of Silas was not that different from Stefan with human switch off on the other hand.
My favorite seasons were always season 1 to season 3
agree
1-4 for me :)
i like 3-6
Agreed
Vonnie Lynn bc stelenaaaaaaa!!! I loved delena too but I mostly loved the love struggle between the two brothers.
I still haven't seen the very last episode of The Vampire Diaries I just can't do it 😢
same
kingtoyab69 you're not missing much, it was rush but the ending will have you crying for sure!
It could have been something
kingtoyab69 same here.
It made me cry soooo much but you have to watch it, its worth it.
TVD suffered for being a redundant romance drama where all the interesting characters were put on the back burner. Plus, the Originals was better and darker. The moment they left, the story went downhill. Elena becoming sleeping beauty + Nina leaving made it worse.
Greg Tom true that
The Originals is following the same trend, to be honest.
Reflex true that
TVD IS MY FAVORITE SHOW AND I STILL WATCH IT
takala najae SAME

THEY WERE ARRESTED LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOO
miss lee how!?
No they weren’t it was a lie
there are mugshots online
kleo Ikr.
kleo THAT IS WHY I LOVE THEM, ESPECIALLY NINA
I loved The Secret Circle. I really wish it wasn't cancelled.
sixnow25 loved that show season 1 was bad ass
Same here. I enjoyed it more than the VD spin off, The Originals.
Same! Maybe the new Sabrina show on Netflix will be similar to TSC, but I'm not sure. Here's hoping!
sixnow25 I loved that show too!
JasonJMist That wouldn't have been a bad thing TBH
I don’t care what anyone says but all the seasons were amazing. Yes some seasons were better then others but honestly the Salvatore brothers were what made this show and stayed throughout the whole show. I’m so inlove with this cast and wish more seasons were made :( #Delena
I'm a simple girl I see Stefan Salvatore I click 😍😍
T R saaaammmmeeeee

SAME MAN SAME. LOVE OF MY LIFE 💖💖
T R 😻😻😻
T R nahhhhh DAMIAN
ok umm some opinions:
•Alaric is always so sad :( he deserves better
•Season 6 was super boring
•klaroline is taking too long
•I miss Nian :,(
@Joyce Elisa Youbi sameee Kai carried s6 and made it amazing i also like s3
Tyler shouldn't have died
Kai was the best. Period!
I liked season bc Kai is by far one of my character’s but I understand y u would say that
The first three seasons were the best
Not from the critics hahaha ... they said the show got better after season 4 because they left being pretty romantic to be pretty dark and mature. Pathetically fans wanted to watch romantic scenes ... Pathetic girls
Yes
yes i agree. I am 100% a stelena shipper and i was mad when they broke up
Lexie Steffen ikr
before kevin left, it was great, then julie plec took over and it got pretty bad
erica dinardo I thought I was the only one who thought that! Thank you! The only good thing Julie came up with was the Kai storyline.
Kai was the ONLY good thing about the later seasons. Kevin is like the Stefan and Julie is like the Damon. Or alternatively Kevin is the Mikaelsons and Julie was the Salvatores
So true!!!
Kevin really was the key behind the success
Really? I don't know how much stock i should put into that, considering all of Kevin's shows besides TVD and Dawson's Creek have failed miserably. I have no doubt in my mind that Plec was responsible for the super toxic Delena pairing, but i don't think its failures are her fault alone.
PREACH
Imagine if Zach was Damon and Ian was Matt lol
I can’t even imagine that, it’s HURTS to imagine that
No no nooo! Can't
ew no 😭
Nice guys always finish last should've know that
*gulp*
Kevin made this show, Julie Plec ruined TVD in my opinion. Certain seasons just shouldn't have been made but the ending... I cried like a baby.
They killed Enzo, Bonnie's love interest, but she got her powers back....so it was sort of a trade off, because I think she is now all powerful and it's a good thing."
No. She needed Bonnie's powers back so she could be in servitude of Julie's faves to get their happy ending. And she wanted to stick it to Bonnie's fan base one more time.
Bamon was a great ship but I preferred them as Best Friends
The locals are very nice as well and have really leaned into being "Mystic Falls."
BTW Conyers, GA is about 10 minutes from Covington-it's where The Originals was filmed.
Are you serious? They wouldn’t let you walk down the street? That’s ridiculous isn’t not like they own it
They shut down a block because they didn't want people taking pictures or messing with the props. The security guard was nice about it and let us look from where we were standing as long we didn't take pictures. City's give out permits so they can shut down a block.
I live an hour away from Convington.
thank you so much for the tips, def will check when visiting the us
And the reason for that was delena. For me, Tvd ended at season 3.
Not from the critics hahaha ... they said the show got better after season 4 because they left being pretty romantic to be pretty dark and mature. Pathetically fans wanted to watch romantic scenes ... Pathetic girls.
Yes especially that sire-bond storyline
It was so good but after season 6 it totally flopped
Season 6 onwards i could see it going downhill as well
In my opinion the last few seasons were the best🤷🏽♀️
I didn’t really like season 7 but season 8 I do!
Whenever I see Torrey DeVitto, I ALWAYS see Melissa Hastings! It felt weird to see her as a different character in TVD 😂
I was in tears when i notice that damon told "hello brother" in 2009 and then again in 2017 😭😭😭
Sssshhhhhhhhhhh😭
Can i just say Damon made the show for me 😍🙄
Damon and Tyler were my favorite characters
You can say that and you’d be right. 😊
Is somebody still watching tvd in 2019
I just binge watched all 8 seasons and finished the last episode tonight and cried. Such a beautiful story!!!
@@aprilcompanion6245 Ikr
i finished it yesterday :)))
Reyna 2020 baby
2020 I'm still watching, i repeated from season 1-8🤣🤣
season 7 w/o nina was actually pretty good. but i wish she had been in 8, though the last season was still awesome i needed more than 10 min of nina
Honestly? Stefan and Elena should have been endgame. When Elena became human again should should have been with him. And Caroline and Stefan were the worst couple on the show.
Klaus and Caroline should have made it, although I did love her and Tyler together.
I AGREEEEEEE
Stelana all the way!!
Yessssss!! It was so weird to me watching Stefan and Caroline together
Bruh
Omg I've waited so long for that kind of comment I absolutely agree with you. Steroline was terrible I didn't like them together as a couple I just liked them as best friends
The whole series of TVD was just so EPIC.
I like the Originals more than Vampire Diaries. That teenage drama stuff died out.
Noah The Reaper agreed love the originals
I agree sadly and think the vampire diaries could have been way better if Nina actually stuck it through in the series longer
SAMEEEE I only watched TVD so I can see the originals
Honestly this will always be my favorite show ever, I loved every season of it the same, It felt weird and different without the main character, Nina dobrev, not being involved in the show for the next two season other than the very last episode but nonetheless it was an amazing TV series, I have never cried more in my entire life span than the amount of crying I have done watching that show and I literally cried for about 90% of the last episode, I was sobbing uncontrollably basically the whole time
Vampire diaries, the originals, outlander, the 100 are my favorite series.
I love TVD still it doesn't matter to me
Same, I still say though that the show could’ve been better if she stayed but was still great even when she wasn’t in it and the world and the show can’t evolve around nina’s bs reasons for wanting to leave the show so early
It's past midnight and i have a final exam in 7hours. I should NOT be in here but i couldn't help it. Nicki Swift if wake up late tomorrow then it's all on you cuz i've been watching your video for hours now.
Nick Armstrong same
Nick Armstrong good luck for your exam
Nick Armstrong so? Did you pass?
I don't know yet. The exam was hard but i think i nailed. I answered all questions but you never know. I'll let you know if i pass :D
Hahah exactly my current situation! wish me luck..
Seasons after 4 sucked so bad
agree
poofylove2 agree. My favorite seasons are 1 to 4.
I actually stopped watching this show mid season four lmao. Never watched The Originals though either.
poofylove2 actually that was the last best season
I stopped watching it season 5. Even season 4 pissed me off sometimes, but it was bearable
Plec killed the series
so true I was gutted when kevin left the show cause it was his baby. :)
Brooke totally agree
Crappy writing + fan service = bad show
Pity that Caroline and Julie couldn't understand that.
I've rewatched the series and you can clearly see the difference between the seasons with Kevin
exactly Sofia. F :)
thanks Megan Izzy
I LOVE THE VAMPIRE DIARIES! I watched 8x16 and instantly back to 1x01.. I just can’t live without my daily dose of the Salvatore brothers.. anyone else?🙋🏼♀️
josie arnold sameeee 😂
You are nuts
Still bitter that Stefan and Elena weren't endgame.
me too
It was fate to be together, yet they didn't end up together? Julie Plec literally makes me want to drink a 1L bottle of bleach
Same
Bonnie literally was so underrated because she always saved everyone at the end of every series and always chose others over herself
i don't care STEFAN was the better man!!
Kevin Pham This isn't even a Stelena vs Delena video. Seriously?
Cookie Monster This doesn't have to be a Stelena Delena thing. Stefan was the better man, not for Elena he was just the better man in general in everything. He was just better. It's not a Stelena Delena thing, it's just Stefan on his own as a person not in a relationship with anyone he was just better.
FACT
Thanks man
Lol bullshit I loved damon stefan was a fuckin edward I couldn't stand him I would fall in love with damon way before stefan I see stefan as a really good friend whenever I watch the shows damon just had more appeal and in the beginning seasons he is really evil but he never claimed to be good him filiming on set is amazing honestly the scenes of him eith vicky were cute
Twilight had nothing on Tvd
The last season sucked, but was still worthy to watch, considering the fact thatI put so many into getting to know and love the characters. I was wondering why Nina wasn't there as much, makes sense now.
www.bustle.com/p/stelena-almost-had-a-happy-ending-on-the-vampire-diaries-says-co-creator-kevin-williamson-43613
Brooke... so basically Stelena was end game but because Nina couldn't partake in the whole last season they had to make Delena endgame.
I feel like it was spoiled for me bc i'm on season 1 and it's my faul soooo hehe bye
You can still watch the show I mean there is a lot of content on tvd. 8 season worth. TVD will always be one of my favs to watch but Julie and Caroline Dries just screwed up a lot of things with the show but Chris Wood etc was amazing in Tvd. Take care.
Maybe if Nina didn't leave it would still be on 😭
I thought ever since Dobrev left, the 7th and 8th season felt fresher and less stagnant than previous films because I got sick of Elena.
They’ve always had the most chemistry, even in the beginning of the show
Elana was honestly annoying. I preferred Kathrine.
WOW I MISSED ELENA THAT WAS THE WORST SEASONS EVER cause without her the storyline dont make since
Thr show peaked around season 3
agree to disagree.
SSJ BLAIRE WHITE Sama i love blaire white
.. and i loved the unity of tbe forst 3 seasons but i agree with the potholes and romance annoyance
The girl with the dagger was season 7, and yes, the show had devolved into diarrhoea by that point. But the first three seasons were indeed the best.
Lmao they were arrested ??
CCxXMUSICxX yes😂😂😂
The smile in the mugshot *Priceless*
I’m just gonna say this show changed my life for forever . This shows literally changed my life to the bone . So did The Originals ... I want to move to New Orleans and live my life there ... a city with so much history , mystery
The off line relationships ruined the show 😑😑
i will miss this show forever
When I seen Paul Wesley on vampire diaries I feel right in love with him.
stelena deserved endgame
moonlight dals FACT
Noo
Damn straight and for me they were
they shouldve been but nina left
I watched that show from the very beginning to the end. I read many articles where people said they were once fans but gave up on that show. I was with it to the very end. Yes, the material wasn't as great as early seasons but it was a good show. It got me through my second deployment and I even got a few of my battle buddies turned on to that show. I was sad to see it come to an end. I don't know, maybe I will watch it from the beginning on Netflix. I can't believe no one has come out with a replacement series. Something supernatural wise or something similar to that show. The CW has shifted its programming from what I can tell.
I completely stopped watching after Elena died.
she woke up at the end :)
Chris Wood was amazing on the show. I continued watching it cause he was just great on TVD.
She didn't die until the last episode of the whole series where it shows them all in the future in some after life like place so, if you're talking about when she was asleep and linked to Bonnie then you should be more specific
Brooke agreed
thanks
We know all these. Its not a freaking secret if you're an actual fan.
Lydia Wonderlost it's annoying the having to be an actual fan means knowing everything about something. Like no..just no.
THANK YOU
Jaymie Simoneau Maybe you're just triggered cause you've never been an actual fan 😂
TVD sucks after season 5 .... the originals is way better
alvaro209209 well the originals are boring but I agree with the first statement
alvaro209209 agreed!!
stopped watching the originals in season 3. Also I have no time for the Caroline BS.
alvaro209209 Season 5 was the worst season. Like so bad. Seasons 6 and 8 were good
Season 6 that I'm currently on is SO much better than season 5. Season 5 bored me
For me, season 1-3 were the best because of the love triangle, then it just became Damon as the sole focus and I got bored, they should of had her still bouncing between the two brothers, and then ultimately ending up with Stefan
Kyle Haden-Tebb you should at least watch season 6, Kai Parker singlehandedly saved the entire show
@@dearogol2856 he didn't. that was just a lame story line. Not hating on the actor or anything.
@@soheiladam7510 yes he did, the series was starting to bore me.
@@dearogol2856 if he was for you then that's ok, but the last 3 season were a trainwreck.
So true....I loved the love triangle....after season 4 , it felt like Elena's feelings for Stefan was stopped... it was all about Damon and Elena and Stefan was left out..then they tried to pair him up with Caroline and show became more shitty . I stopped watching it after season 6
I love how you point out how all of the characters in The Vampire Diaries are "impossibly handsome."
Yall remember the last episode when Stefan died, I brought myself to tears thinking about it too, I'm sorry
I have no clue why suddenly my RUclips recommendations are only TVD videos, but I’m loving it!
I'll make this perfectly clear for you all. If Ashley Simpson took the role of Elena. Best believe this show would not have been as good as it was.
Stelena Forever ❤️
Azanian Bantu Delena
omg stelena❤️
Aimee Louise I likes stelena but I much preferred Delena
Stelena❤️
nah, Steferine forever ❤️❤️
Ashley Simpson?
Ugghhh.....
I would feel so bad for Paul
This show had the best final episode ever! Legit cried like a baby 😂.
Caroline was extremely annoying too
I loved this show so much but then when Elena left I couldn't stay hooked and ended up drifting away. Never finished it.
They were caught flashing traffic?Oh yeah those poor people lol
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES FOREVER ❤❤❤❤
Tbh the ending of tvd was kind of disappointing
Lmaoo I love the mug shots😂 the fact that they were arrested for being 'distracting'😂😂😂
I loved the last episode of the Vampire Diaries. It was redemption with deep respect, between the brothers. I 'm hoping the Originals end the same way.
Karoline Is going to happen finale soo I'm soooooooo fkin happy haha woooooooo
Lord Sebastian, thanks for the info. I hope Klaus does find happiness with Karoline. The same goes for Elijah and Cole, Rebecca, Marcell, and the rest of the family. But then again, its how Julie Plec and the other staff writers end the show. You know the old saying, out with a bang.
The music for some reason fit the scenes perfectly in the early Seasons. Also the steamy make outs!! lol
I missed #TVD sooo much
And I fell in love with ur thumbnail❤
Bro I freaking miss the vampire diaries😭. But who else is wating for season 5 originals!
I love how they are all smiling in their mugshots like picture day 🤣
What's with all this hatred towards Julie Plec?
Alex Winchester OMG THANK YOU! FINALLY SOMEONE MAKES SENSE.
Yeah, I get that but that doesn't mean that the writing and the show didn't go to shit when Kevin left. Whether Julie is at fault or no it still happened.
I’ve literally JUST finished this series like an hour ago I COULDN’T STOP CRYING 😭
I like Season 6... the ending was very sad... The season 8 series finale was a rushed wreck that ruined the series ... ugh
From what i hear they explained the ending of vampire diaries on legacies, the spinoff of the originals
Candice smiling in her mugshot is so great 😂
This show legit changed me. #TVDFOREVER !!
Wow..Paul and Phoebe started dating while Paul was still married to Torrey.. How disgusting. Didn't think Phoebe was that kind of person.
Mzz McGuire Paul and Torrey were separated when Paul and Phoebe started dating.
First it isnt true.
Second why should Pheobe be the bad one, why not Paul too since he was dating another one!!!
In an interview Nina said she left because she wanted to try for more bigger opportunities
I need them back I really miss them
I cried whan I got to the vampire diaries season 6 episode 22
I was so obsessed with that show, I knew everything you told in this video. 😊
It’s 2018 and I’m still crying because of the final episode of season6💀
Why am I watching it now. I need to get over this show
“Dear diary, a chipmunk asked me my name today.I told him it was Joe, that lie will haunt me forever” ----- lol Damon Salvatore is best.
This video made me realise i miss The Vampire Diaries
I only clicked on this for Stefan/Paul
I just brought myself to finish the last two episodes last night, I held it for so long !!! But I finally did it, and what an ending it had, I was in tears !
