In case i'm the only one who caught this: She referred to Mason Lockwood as Tyler's "wolfed out cousin". Mason was not Tyler's cousin. He was his uncle. Obviously, TVD's #1 fan in the world should know something as simple as that.

Ashley Tisdale turned down PLL as well, that was probably a mistake considering her show got cancelled and TVD ad PLL are very successful.

The fact that surprised me the most was that Paul Wesley, Michael Trevino, and Zach Roerig all wanted to play the role of Damon. I'd have to say no one could play it better than Ian, and I could not imagine any of those three taking that part. Am I the only one??

I read somewhere that Nina Dobrev is a Harry Potter fan, and I find it intriguing that she knows French and Bulgarian two languages that Fleur Delacour of "Beauxbatons Academy of Magic" and Viktor Krum of "Durmstrang Institute" speak respectively.
p.s. She can speak English as well, which students from "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" speak. Just wanted to write the whole names of all the three schools.

Martyna Morgenstern I'm not saying it's abnormal that she speaks three languages, I'm saying that it's cool that she speaks the languages which the students from the three prominent Wizarding Schools of Europe speak. I commented that with the thought, as she is a Harry Potter fan, she learned the languages mostly spoken in all the three schools because of it, which maybe true or not, but I definitely found it interesting and felt giddy with geekness.
And I wanted to write the whole names of all the three schools, because I'm a huge Potterhead and felt like writing them, which satisfied me immensely.

The books can be a little weird but overall they rock. I really don't get why the producers wanted to change the name Salvatore. It shows the Italian origins of Stefan and Damon and it also means savior. Glad they did not change it.
The cast of TVD is definitely flawless and so very talented. Not only do leads play their major characters, but multiple characters across time. Casting got it right!
All the actors that have their part in vampire diaries and the originals can never be replaced by any other actor. They are the reason that the shows are so successful

I recently read the first 4 books in tvd and did you guys know that according to the books, if you kill a lot of people you can turn into different animals. Damon prefers a crow while Stefan turned into a falcon one time I believe.

When it comes down to Paul and Nina, it isn't an accomplishment... hell, it would be a disgrace if they wouldn't know their native language. Because it is no secret that Nina is Bulgarian and Paul is Polish. Parents who respect themselves wouldn't have it any other way. If I moved to America, I would teach my kids OUR native language as well. And as far as I know, Kat also was born somewhere in Europe and has mixed blood.
As you can see, someone like Ian is not mentioned.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's cool to know languages, but don't make it a big deal, when speaker's ''mother language'' ain't english.
