So far its been great. We use a tall cup in the single serve side so splatter is not a problem. I love it!
I called Cuisinart yesterday as my coffee was shutting off after the program brew and was Luke warm after a little bit. The rep told me to unplug the pot for an hour and then reset it. This morning have really hot coffee I did program the auto off for four hours and it’s working now 😊
Very helpful video. Just got one of these machines and love the convenience of a full pot or single serving.
This is my 2nd Keurig coffee maker of this model. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first worked fine for more than 2 years, and I could still get a decent cup of coffee out of it if I fiddled with it when I decided to replace it. The problem I had with my first unit was this: When attempting to brew a cup of coffee, the unit would either keep brewing until the coffee was undrinkable or it would not run long enough and the coffee produced was way too strong. I cleaned the unit as best I could but it did not help. So in the end it was just too much trouble to get a good cup of coffee out of it, so I decided to replace it with a new one, which has been working great since I unpacked it.
You don’t explain anything about how the filter is inserted.

You forgot to show how to add water to the main coffee maker. Thankful I was able to figure it out when you lifted the main pots water filter out. Thanks for the video.

Do you keep the filter basket holder in the coffee machine or just have the filter basket?
Assuming you've made a pot, does the warmer under the pot stay on when using the single side?
I opened to k cup side when it said to clean.
I actually lost my instruction manual.
I can't close that top part that is over the dispersal drip and it won't open for use either.
I'm afraid that I will break something if I force it down.
What is a K-cup exactly is it like the coffee container that the Keurig uses?
We are enjoying our unit. A few cons, it won't fit under a cabinet due to the height when the top is open to add coffee, or water, and the small opening for adding water to the brew side is small, which makes it a bit hard to empty carafe of water completely without spilling the last few ounces.
We were pretty excited to get the new model with the single serve on the left hand side. No one had the black stainless steel in stock.
We waited months and ordered one from Cuisinart. After 2 months we started getting lots of grounds in our coffee. We don’t buy cheap coffee. This happens with store bought ground coffee and with coffee beans we grind. Per instruction manual, we don’t grind it too fine, we grind coffee on the “coarse” setting.
Our 14 cup old Cuisinart never did this. This machine is far too new and expensive to have these kinds of issues. We’ve had it for < 6 months.

Love your review! I've been wanting to buy one but I'm still torn between Keurig and Cuisinart. I mean price point, not much of a difference but I've been reading that the quality of Keurig is far better than Cuisinart...
How do you turn it off? We set it for 1 how yet the base stays hot
After I brew the coffee in the 12 cup side my coffee does not stay hot, even using the hot setting it starts to cool down once it's brewed. Does anyone know how to keep it warm or having the same problem?

We’ve been having issues in automatically setting the coffee to brew at a certain time . We followed the instructions and it didn’t brew at said time that we set it to on the ss15 series

What is the grey lid on the rh side for? I pulled mine and potentially broke something... diagnosing the problem now.

Still confused about the AUTO OFF setting. If I turn the knob to AUTO OFF and set it for 2 hours, THEN DO I I switch the Knob to brew to start it ? ...will it automatically turn off after 2 hours??
The carbon filter, keep inside for 60 days?
On the single serving side, using the k-cup. I keep getting coffee grains spillage inside the machine. Is this defective or am I missing something. Made it the same way you did. Thoughts plse.
I have the same issue, it is a MESSSSS!!!!!! I think they must be defective, as I did exactly what was in this video and the manual
So After a little more trial and error I figured out the issue. If you push down to hard, the rubber gasket around the top needle punctures off the whole foil lid of the k-cup. So, if you insert the k-cup and push down on the edges of it, to poke the bottom needle through the bottom, then very very very softly close the lid (you can open to check that the top is in tact still) it will poke a small hole in the top. I ran it, and voila, no more mess of coffee grains and spillage inside the machine and on my counter. Hope this helps you!

I love it, may I know if I have to fill water every time I want to use for single serve
No every time but the water container is not huge so maybe every 2-3 cups would require a refill. For me using it as much as we did we were refilling it a lot
I’ve just descaled the pot side now how do I get the red light to go off? I held it down and all it does is flash!

It seems if you have a problem, unplug the coffee maker for an hour like a previous commentor said, and it should reset it. Fixed my problem I had with keeping the coffee warm.

No it does not.It is designed for a quick cup..Takes about one minute.
How do you warm the pot up again if it shut off and you want to reheat the pot?

Coffee Pot works good but why does the single serve dispenser spit water out all over the counter when I'm brewing hot water for tea? I never had this problem with my Keurig regardless of the size mug I used. I have chatted with Cuisinart Customer Service which didn't really seem to care or know what they were doing. They told me to cut the cord, email a picture of it, and then they'd send me one that would take about 4 weeks to arrive. I decided to not do it because I wasn't real confident that the CSR gave me any of the right info to be able to get a new one.. Customer Service get's a thumbs down... So is there a fix for this issue??
It happens to mine. The coffee splatters out as it drips into the coffee cup. Makes a mess.
Push the K cup down till it clicks in and then close the lid. I had the same problem till I did this. This should have been part of the instructions!!!!!
Also dont use the Trader joe K cups on this machine. We had a major issue with those making a mess.

Bought a SS-15 Series and filled both sides with water for next day coffee. Overnight it leaks out on counter. I replaced the k-cup reservoir but no help. I bought a second one and had same problem. I returned that one. We really like this coffee maker but can't use it. Any suggestions?

How come in the commercials the lights look blue on this unit? However, on this video...they look purple-ish? I know sometimes commercial ads "pretty up" or tweak the color to be it's most attractive...however, in real life they can be disappointing. Seeing this video...makes me wonder if the true color is really what it appears here: purplish.

No. The k cup side and most Keurig machines have a piercing nozzle/needle at the top and the bottom. This allows water to enter and exit at the correct amount.
How do you turn off the beeping? It drives me CRAZY and wakes up the family.
We love our SS-15, the only problem we have, is that it does not make a full 12 carafe of coffee. The reservoir is full and we only get about 8 cups.
Depends on your cup size.Mi e are 12 ounce so I won't get 12 cups.
Will this fit on the counter under a standard cabinet?
It does for me. Just need to move it out to fill up the water tank

About 21.5 inches with the big coffee part open and then 19 inches tall with the single serve portion open

You can’t empty the carafe coffee pot side. Very inconvenient. How else to limit the cups of coffe to 6 rather than 12?
why is that , that i use a k-cup cofffee and after i used it it was messy?
I had the same thing happen too. What I did, I pushed the K cup down before I closed the lid. So far I haven't had a cup full of grounds and a mess to clean up.

Other similar coffee makers provide a “small mug/cup” option to elevate your mug to prevent splashing. So, why didn’t we get one? Don’t have to be a design genius to figure that is necessary! The splashing is AWFUL! Also, when filling water for full pot, why is there always a huge puddle on the countertop? I fill for 8 cups and get a little over 7, as the remainder water is on my counter. I certainly expected more from Cuisinart! Both problems should not exist.

I have a coffee pot. TRIED to actually MAKE coffee in one of the machines. 3 times. I have spent 20 minutes in front of this thing then went a drug off my old machine! I am 70 and have made coffee for Many MAny years. Why can't this be easy?
I hate that the single serve splatters a 10inch circle around the coffee cup on the counter. White counters, black coffee, means I have to clean the counter after every single cup brewed. And to fill a tall cup of coffee you have to keep coming back to hot the brew button 2-3 times because the serving size drops at 10oz. I want to hit brew and pick up my cup and go, not have to clean and try to brew multiple times for a tall cup. Keurig are the experts in this field not this pos.
This is a terrible video.Says nothing about adding the filters to the water resavors of where to pour in the water.Ihe book says nothing about how to rescale the maker when the clean light comes on.Terrible just terrible !
Video skips over one of the most important steps for coffee beginners. Not helpful at all.
