We actually was suppose to visit Anguilla but our ferry was cancelled due to weather, next time we visit we’ll definitely visit St Barths & Anguilla, we even heard Saba as well (if you’ve took a day trip there?)
Im glad you shared 😌 those prices are steep😮! I live in Miami Dade 🌴🍊 and lots of Islanders buy there food and goods here in Miami especially ppl from the Bahamas -Nassau. I see why😅😮. I definitely want to go one day, but for those prices I might as well choose Oahu 🍍🥥 Hawaii and London 😅 first even Lisbon Portugal
Really? Never knew that about islanders buying food in Miami. & Yes the prices for food definitely were steep lol other than food the prices honestly wasn’t bad though (housing/ flights etc) so I guess it balances out
Yes we personally used chippie (prepaid sim by flow) and had no problems at all with our cell/ data service and we explored all over the island so we’d definitely recommend based on our experience
Thanks for the great feedback! Husband and I will be there beginning of June and will be renting a car. How’s the parking? Is it easy to find parking spaces, do they have parking lots in the main attraction area etc? Also, do you have to pay for parking? Just trying to be throughly prepared! Thx
Thanks for watching! Honestly finding parking wasn't bad there's a lot of public parking lots & street parking available near most main attractions, only places on the island that we really seen parking wasn't great was in Phillipsburg & Maho Beach but that is the #1 tourist attraction there so its understandable (we went to both early before 10 AM to bypass the tourist crowds and had no problem finding parking) & no where on the island did we have to pay for parking or have trouble. (Just a tip since you'll have a rental car, if you plan to explore the entire island be sure to bring cash as having cash or finding a atm that actually had the cash available in it was more of a problem for us than parking) Hope this helps!
I believe so cause we still seen marked taxis at night, but not 100% sure. Our Airbnb happen to be across the street from all the main clubs on the Dutch side so we just walked to them vs driving/ taxis
Definitely agree from our travel experiences over the years! & Majority of the destinations that "we've been told to avoid due to safety from America" has been the complete opposite, very safe & very welcoming from the locals in our opinion.
Even with still recovering from the hurricane, we definitely can say the French side felt more true and maintained its culture which we loved vs the Dutch side which felt "americanized" at times (had an amazing time still on that side as well)
Absolutely awesome video.

@@thelovestravel Thank you so much!
Of course, have fun on y'all trip!!
Are there "taxis" during the night in case of going out to party?
I believe so cause we still seen marked taxis at night, but not 100% sure. Our Airbnb happen to be across the street from all the main clubs on the Dutch side so we just walked to them vs driving/ taxis
Do you have to have a passport or can you have a United States government issued id and birth certificate?
A passport is required
I swear I don’t know what is wrong with America. It seems like many places are. Just so safe and social compared to us.
Definitely agree from our travel experiences over the years! & Majority of the destinations that "we've been told to avoid due to safety from America" has been the complete opposite, very safe & very welcoming from the locals in our opinion.
The French owns everything
Even with still recovering from the hurricane, we definitely can say the French side felt more true and maintained its culture which we loved vs the Dutch side which felt "americanized" at times (had an amazing time still on that side as well)
"My husband and I" not "me and my husband".
