Ive been looking at some V3s over the last few months, especially during Adidas' end of the year sale (ended up getting 8 pairs of R1s....oops) but obviously I didnt get a pair. Ive been looking for a video comparing the R1s and V3s and this was by far the best. I liked all your reasons against the V3s and I think its convinced me to wait for them to go on sale, or get them at an Outlet mall for cheap.

Is it just me or is the tags at the laces area of the V3 really cheaply made and rough? I have to constantly wear thick mid length socks so that it doesnt scratch my skin like a cactus.
Even though I didn’t like the V3 as much as the OG NMD, I’d probably go with these at the same price. I just wouldn’t buy them at full retail. UltraBoost 22 is comfortable for sure too just not much changes from the previous models, but I guess it also comes down to which look you like better at that point.
nmd and ultraboost are played out theyre all the same. they need to add highcut versions and move out of alien style of shoes. theyre getting even more ugly
These shoes were the most expensive shoes I’ve ever bought, as well as the shittiest quality shoe I’ve ever bought. Im returning them immediately, so disappointed.
Just copped a sick pair of v3 for $65 and I don’t mind the extra weight, this is my first nmd

Ive also been a little mixed on if I actually like the design of the shoes or not. Some days they look fine, and others they look dumb as hell xD

V3 much better build quality and visuals imo. The OG NMDs look so outdated for me.

@Yu Man Geoffrey Lai ended up with Nano2s on sale for 80 Canadian. Had a nice orange look, and great for the gym. Saved about 50 bucks 🤷♂️
How did they fit compared to R1s? I always thought the R1s toe box was too small
V2 are my favorite comfortable lightweight and stuff

I have ultraboost but also thinking to get Nmd R1 because of their style , is it good or should I just stay with ultraboost?
Both are good! Really just comes down to your preference for style, also which Ultraboost. If let’s say Ultraboost 1.0 DNA I like those better.
The R1 basically has a similar step-in comfort but super light.

Given they're on same price, UB22 or NMD v3? I like both bec they're looking comfy. Just torn between the upper and boost feel.
