Now wait just a second folks. I’m about to do a much better job of selling you this type trailer than the guy in this vid although this is the first one I’ve ever seen like this. Lol
This guy demonstrates launching your pontoon boat in water at the dock. Does it impress anyone? Hell no.
Where I see this trailer really shining is that it can do something that your drive-on trailer can’t do. This trailer will allow you to drop your boat on land anywhere ya want. That’s actually a pretty big + if ya ask me.
You just need to setup some supports or saw horses and you can drop your boat in your own back yard if you need to.
Another thing it can potential do. You could use this trailer to switch trailers with boats if you have a Marina application.
Is this a good everyday boat trailer? Naaa I don’t think so because it doesn’t look like it would be very easy to drive-on to but I do think this trailer has a place in the world.
Ok now Mr. Fancy Boat Trailer Guy please send me a LOT of money for explaining and promoting your trailer much better than you did. Hit me back and I’ll give you my email address ok.
    Ha

I have a similar scissor jack trailer. I have found that they are unstable at highway speeds. They tend to sway much more than a trailer with pontoons sitting directly on the trailer. The center of gravity is not as wide on the scissor trailer as is a trailer made to fit the pontoons sitting directly on it. It is because the wheels are much closer together. I bought a new conventional trailer so if anyone is looking to buy a scissor jack trailer, I have one for sale.

I hate to say this but if this was to be an advertisement for the trailer it was a lousy job.
Didn't you bother checking the video before you uploaded this?
The wind is disturbing enough but you can hardly understand what you are talking about at times.

22 inch pontoons on a 24 foot boat? That's not right. And it's a lot easier just backing in until the boat floats off so you don't have to crank. Same thing for loading it...just drive on and drive away. I've done it a hundred times with that same trailer and a 25' pontoon. It'll scrape on the trailer, though.

Keep the camera on whatever it is you’re trying to show us. Don’t need to see your face in order to hear what you say. Very frustrating when the camera person only wants us to see you. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
