This is a very simple, yet beautiful iris flower. It is fun to fold and if you fold multiple flowers, you can combine them. At the end, I teach a modification that looks great if you fold two flowers of different colors.
Traditional Origami:
Traditional models have been around for centuries, most of which have no known origin. They are typically very simple models to fold and a great place to start learning the basics. They are good to teach to children but are also good to learn for someone of any level because they use the fundamentals of origami.
