This is a very good explanation. I understand it so much better now. The hardest part is just visualizing the problem and your explanations really help. Thanks.
thank you very much sir.this video really helped me to understand moment of a force about axis.i saw few videos before but this explanation was simple n precise.hope my understanding would help me to score well in mycoming engineering mechanics paper.thank you.:)
At 7:22 how can you calculate the X component using F(xy) * sin40. the opposite would be Hypotenuse * sin40. How can you use the bottom portion of the triangle...
Awesome video you explain everything so well, great teacher. I had one quick question At 23:56 sir, for the i component to calculate the moment about point c you have 6 and from the given picture it looks like it was at 0.
Hey I'm having trouble with the second example you did there. Its exactly the same but instead we need to find the Force needed to produce 500lb-ft about CD. Can you help me?
I may have figured it out, as you curled your fingers to find the direction of moment, because you got a negative value for the moment, it actually rotates in the opposite direction of C to D. Is this correct?
sir ==please refer first problem --force diagram is not clear ---please draw one separate diagram for force -- it is difficult to see force in present diagram --thank u sir
Thanks to this, I finally understood how to calculate moment of a force about an axis. Thank you so much!!
You are welcome
This Man is good.
Impeccable teaching🤞
Glad you liked it
Watching from Ghana
Sir your explanation is clear and comprehensive
You are simply kudos
Thanks
Very organized, detailed, and to the point. Thank you!

Hey, thanks for posting these videos. They are really helping with my understanding of statics.
+Jordan Willis you are welcome! that is the idea ....
Very clear and beneficial. Great effort Thanks
You are welcome!
I love the way you explain. You are king. Thanks for the great video. Hope to see more videos in furture.
Glad you like it. Please remember to like them all
of course i did. i subscribed too.
yes. it is explained in the description on webcourses
can you plz do videos on mechanics of solids
?????????
Nice explanation. 😊
Glad you liked it!
Great tutorial. One thing missing for me is indicating where the vector r x F actually is on the diagram and where it points. Thanks, muchas gracias.

yes. I marked it in canvas. thanks
Great video, taught me exactly what I needed to know!
You are welcome
Excellent step by step video and explanation. Thank you for producing this, it's really helped. Do you have a video on 3d couples?
You are amazing my friend. Thank you so much!
Thanks man, maybe my finals aren't impossible now :)
thanks sir// the problems was helpful both in understanding theory and numericals
waleed iqbal glad it helped you

sometimes the least we should say its just a thank you

For the unit vector of CD, how would I know if I am going from point C to D, versus D to C?
I may have figured it out, as you curled your fingers to find the direction of moment, because you got a negative value for the moment, it actually rotates in the opposite direction of C to D. Is this correct?
thank you so much sir
In first problem , how we find the moment of force about C and then moment of force about BC?
Hello to you too...
great video. thanks
You are welcome!
you are splendid (Y)
very good video thank you !

Use your imagination
17:50 The moment should be CA cross F, not F cross CA.
if im not mistaken its the same thing
you are
thank you sir!
You are welcome
How do you determine the r?
subi los videos en español amigo. Porfa..
Why is this labeled as moment about a specified axis but the problem you worked out is about a point. Those are entirely different problems. SMH
Please read the description...
I want you explain in arabic
Yahay Shahin give me 5 or 6 years to learn the language and I might 😊
Please You try because l want this examples
Thanks you l understand this
I will followed you for understand
