Super build. I have owned and built around 50 bikes over the years and none of them, including Bianchi, were any better on quality than my BXT. It's the bike i reach for most now. The paintwork on mine is also superb and is proving durable. Frame alignment is also spot on. Hope you have as much fun with it as i have with mine.
Thanx mate. Well that is exactly what i did not do. I was wondering after my last gravel race if a carbon frame would even survive. So, i went looking a bit futher and after some tips, stumbled upon the BXT. The ride is great mate.
I hope so too. I am not a experienced backpacking guy but did a trip to Luxembourg in the summer and as I had no bags I had to carry a back pack. That was really uncomfortable after a couple of days so I can see why you bags on the fork and top tube. It does make sense as if you backpack the weight of the bike does not matter. As long as you don't carry on your body.
Great review, interested in hearing more thoughts on sizing. I'm about 180cm, looking at the 54 or 56. Frame geometry appears quite aggressive and tough to follow.
@@thecyclingchiropractor Thanks. Chart says 56. Top of 54 range, bottom of 56. Sounds like it fits a bit big. I'm on a Diverge 58 CM actually, which has definitely been too big for reach & standover. It was a 2021 purchase when I couldn't find anything else.
@TM_93. Hi TM Measure your top tube and seat tube and compare to their charts at sizes. . That was what I did and I got it totally right. Let me know. Cheers
Great build! I've bought the same frame but I'm having a hard time figuring out the front derailleur cable route, since I don't see a cable stop and my FD doesn't have a built in cable stop. Can you show a close up of how you did it? Do you know of any body who had this kind of problem? Thanks in advance.
I will look on Friday when I am home and try to make a picture. I can't remember that there was a problem...let me just check. Currently the new derailleurs are the stop I believe.
@ssenssel Just checked my derailleurs. I have a new 105 front derailleur on the bxt and the stop is part of the derailleur. I can send a pic if you give your email. Cheers Of course you can also look at pics of the new derailleurs.
@@thecyclingchiropractor It's ok, I just wanted to confirm that the stop was part of it. Gravel frames usually have 1x and it's hard to find a video where people review their builds. Specially this BXT-135 model. Imma have to improvise.. thinking about epoxying some plastic cable end to the hole where the cable goes through and use that as the stop. Again, thank you for your help. Cheers from Brazil and to great and safe rides! 🚲💪
Yes and yes. I am 1.76.5 and bought a 52 cm. I am making a video on how to go about it. By that I mean the buying process. Good luck! It's really lovely.
Mate i don't know for sure as I imported to the Netherlands where i live. It was 501 euro for the frame + 70 euro shipping/customs. I don't see the price changing but importing to SA should be cheaper. All via ebay

Great to hear Val. I hope I did ok with the 2cm smaller. I think it is about right. Yeh the paint job is superb. Cheers and thank you.
Looks fantastic looking forward to the 3month review
Thank you. Much appreciated. It sounds like you don't think we going to make 3 months. :)
What a color mate! Enjoy the ride and let us know how it feels off-road.
Thanks! Will do! Thanks for watching. Cheers
Looks stunning!!!
Thanx mate. Maybe something you should think of as well when buying a bike. We will chat!
Thanks for sharing B! Nice video and great it rides good too!
Any time! Thanx for building it www.streambikes.nl
Frame can use 700*50c (29*2.0)?
I speak under correction, but I believe 47c max
Thats a beaut. For a second i thought you’d robbed the bank and got a Bianchi!

@@thecyclingchiropractor Looks fantastic.
@@thecyclingchiropractor looking forward to seeing/hearing about your long term views. But i can see youre happy with the result!
Thanx mate......appreciate it. If it turns out well maybe Chinese is the future. 👍👀
looks great! what groupset did u use?
Thank you. Basically Shimano
105 with a FSA Powerbox ( Power2max ), Zipp stem and handlebar and Mavic gravel wheels. Very basic.
Looks great but i really don't like those 'cargo holes' on the forks... Hope they've an option to not have them... 👍

What do the charts say TM....most probably they say 56cm...then I would go for a 54cm...that is always difficult. What do you ride on now?

Can I ask what frame size(49, 52, 54) did you get and also may I ask your height? I'm eyeing that frame as well. Thanks.
