    Are you gonna try this 7900XT?
    Apologies for this delay, this review took long enough. And also apologies on some errors in the video.
    Price has changed for its competitor, do check it out in the video ;)

    I ordered an AMD after the Nvidia scam on 20xx series. I'll NEVER forget that!
    Still on a 1070 for a few days before it comes to me!

    will i lose the ability to plug in anything 4 slots down since its 3.6 slots thick?
    i am trying to find out if i need a riser cable for this card

      @@RealMelTan i got the card, it blocks off the PCIE slot i wanted to use, also getting in the way of the riser slot on my case lol
      i have an arous x570 elite
      i now plan to have a riser cable and loop it around to the slot on my case above the GPU where it have my NVMe attached i believe it would be possible to fit a x1 PCIE in that location right beside my NVMe
      i only hope this doesn't cause me trouble
      but i really under estimated the size of this GPU
      but this card is CrAzY!i!i!i! i was testing out UEBS2 with how many million of men i could have fighting! i did a battle of 40 million zombies vs 2 million soldiers nearly keeping 60 FPU the entire time running at 4K
      i am currently upscaling a video right now a 25 min family movie i am taking it from 30fps -/+ to 120FPS its taking 6hours as we speak...
      i thought before i got the card it would have such processing time as an hour tops to run this process so this i am not really satisifed with.
      this is the entire reason i got this card
      but with SAM memory enabled i have 90073 MB of total available graphics memory
      and shared system memory is 65497MB
      dedicated is 24575MB
      i am not sure what the numbers would be if i disabled SAM because i do have 128GB of memory in this PC
      the thing is i have no plans of upgrading my PC from this point forward and i don't know if i will ever build another computer again because i do not know if this computer will ever slow down.

    How about coil whine and fan noise under load on the 7900 XT?

    • @aussiedigger1441

      Seems XFX is plagued with coil whine & other issues.

  • @Alauz

    Definitely looking forward to 7000X3D content from your channel yah? AM5 has been crazy thus far, prices of the mobo alone exceed the CPU costs... which is madness! X670E-I ASUS is almost $750! The 7700X3D/7800X3D likely cost less than that.... haha... jia lat, just mobo and CPU to cost as much as $1.5k is just insane. I think if can get the system under $5k would be a miracle at this point.

    • @Alauz
      @Alauz Год назад

      @Peter Bread If pairing with the 7900XT? Yeah it should give you performance as good as Zen 4 on average right now. Zen 4 is a poor showing until the X3D versions get announced at CES

    • @RealMelTan
      @RealMelTan  Год назад

      HAHA i hope can? No news on the X3D CPUs yet. But knowing what's gonna happen, i won't have first dips on that CPU, unless my channel is so big that AMD will give me a special. It will be most likely post launch for the X3D CPUs.
      The whole Ryzen 7000 ecosystem is just really high right now, esp the motherboards like u said. And if u want to get PCIe 5 SSD and DDR5-7000 to 8000 from 2023 onwards, it will add on to the cost. Ryzen 5000 and Intel is better now hahaha

    Nice review! It's a little strange and disappointing to see the 7000 series GPU are even chonkier than the 4090. Seriously did not expect that crazy size. How to build my dream SFFPC this gen with a 7000X3D CPU sia? I mean I'd have to cut open the SFFPC chassis to even make it feasible. Also the SFX/SFX-L PSU also a little too small for comfort, I would much prefer a 1000W over the max available 850W PSUs available at the moment. Probably have to wait for ATX 3.0 SFX PSU first before I start building yeah?

    • @RealMelTan
      @RealMelTan  Год назад

      It is about the same size as the 4090? I was expecting it to be 4080 size. But 4090 is just out of this world hahaha. I think u can forget about squeezing any thick size gpu into a SFF build. That said, I am not sure if something like a ventus can go in? (but i doubt so, cuz of its length).
      Oh yes, u can wait for the ASUS Loki? It is ATX 3.0

      Thats great! Just make sure u have enough space for this GPU.
      There's a certain amount of coil whine though, it is pretty obvious on the 4080 too

    The OC potential of ASUS should be pretty decent right? If it can really havé similar gains to the Red Devil version, ASUS has a winner with the TUF model.

      hmm good idea, thats a pretty good idea. I can try to push this gpu a bit, but not too much. Because it belongs to ASUS (and AMD) HAHA
