Awesome family ❤️ Best homestead channel on RUclips ♥️🔥 God bless you guys🙏
GP picked the right person because you can handle their rentals quite well, great video Daniel! 👍👍👍💯💯💯
Yes and the way he presents himself and the products if very professional and no nonsense!
Ur such a go getter..ur IQ must be sky high. And you are a gentle person. Wish DJ were in the videos more...she has a great sense of dry humor. Love your kids and animals...oh and plants 😊
@@dianswikert268 Did you see the video where DJ got the miniature donkeys! Her reason for getting them was she liked getting babies and raising them Daniel said it was they are to watch over the donkey poodles (Daniel's choice of words) who are watching over the goats. It was hilarious!
@@cliffords.8341 ....yes, just love her calm personality....but am very sure DJ can kick Butt when she has to...
You are really good on the GP Rents equipments. Nice partnership. Live watching you improve the homestead.
Great video Daniel, Your Monster Bass pond is looking fantastic! Here in no time you'll have to invite Jimmy Houston over to fish your bass pond! LOL he would probably get a kick out of it and Houston would love hosting him! Thank you for your service in these most difficult times with all the crazy world we live in right now. May God Bless al our Men and Women in Blue and keep them all safe from harm! 😄🙏❤🇺🇸🐴
A man loves his toys.. even if they are rented. 😁😁😉😉🎉🎉 God bless you and your family 🙏
May God Bless Your Family Big Time With His Love. God Bless!
You are just amazing. Love watching you with your boy toys. Stay safe.
For someone who has no experience you are fantastic on those machine. Nice job Daniel. God bless and stay safe.♥️🇺🇸🌹
You seem pretty natural on those toys! I also want to thank you for putting out the videos, it's a nice break from all the crazy going on.
Great video Daniel. Drill a 1/2 inch hole in both ends and the one they are satting on and drive a 3 or 4 foot rebar down through them will help keep them in place in a flood. Seen big than them wash way in flood that was not fastened down. Stay safe and God bless you and your family.
If you want to keep the ties from moving side to side you can put some 8 to 10 inch bolts through the sides and the middle ones to keep the jets from moving around
Great little bridge you built there should be nice for along time to come. The thumb on excavator is indespesible don't know how you would run one without it. Thank you for taking us along
As always another great video.
Thanks for sharing.
God bless you and your precious family stay safe and healthy.
We "nailed" our homemade bridges top boards and bottom board together with 1-foot long pieces of 3/4-inch rebar. We drilled 1/2 inch holes through them to drive the rebar through so that it fit really tight. And we ended up putting a piece of rebar in each end of every top board because they really shifted when crossing it with the trucks.
Wow, Daniel that's a lot help and make you save a lot of strength .Houston will love to do work with it. I love you guys and god bless you.
We have nothing in common except that my husband was in law enforcement for many years but I just love watching you and the things you do on your beautiful piece of property! Sure wish we had a pond on our property, and animals, guess that’s why I like watching your videos Daniel! Stay safe! 🌺
I was about to suggest stakes to stop the left to right shift, and then you mentioned it. The spillway fence is a wonderful idea to keep your fish in the pond. Take Care. God Bless
Daniel, nice job, but you may want to drill holes in each one on both ends and in the middle in all of them, then run an all thread rod in each hole with lock nuts and flat washers to hold them together. That way they won't move or shift over time. Then stake them to the ground. Can't wait to see the workshop when the flooring is done!
Fun video...love seeing you get some jobs done around the place. Great channel...love yr kiddos...yr daughter w be a heart throb dad!!! Too pretty! You're getting good w that little back home bud.
Please stay safe on yr job. I back all of Highway patrol and Policemen women
Amazing ! Great for your farm and pond . I love your channel , nice lil music
Mannnnn I bet that vegetation would make great compost.
Exactly, can you amagine how rich that would be? Excellent idea.
I also wonder if it would be edible for the goats.
He should go around the pond as much as he can and rip a bunch out ?
Take excess nutrients from water and into the garden!
Yes, to bad he doesnt take a big lot of the vegetation back for the animals to enjoy eating.
Very good. Looks good. My brother and I worked a lot with kreosol soaked RR ties. They make beautiful planter boxes as well. Stay safe. Keep up the good work!
Bridge turned out great! Pretty handy that your contractor uses GP equipment!
Great projects you got there, the little bridge looks functional
Was watching another channel ( don't be mad😉😉😁) ..I came back over here to tell you I just saw the coolest ad come on during their vlog...a Relay Ad featuring you and Houston...was so cool...
congratulations.. That is an awesome accomplishment for your channel.
Great video! Wish it was longer!!! Also dying to see the Donkey chihuahuas!
Love your family and channel too. God Bless You
It's fascinating that such a great, lumbering machine can gently nudge a plank into place. It looked like some giant beast grazing by the pond.
Great family and good channel that i loves. Daniel looks fun and nice.
Thanks for the video 👍 Just throw a covert pipe an make the incline more gradual so then trucks won’t bottom out especially hard for trailers with boats on them.
My parents built a sand box using railroad ties ( in the early 80's)... Those things were Sooooo heavy!!!! But that sand box kept my brother occupied for hours for years!! Great video..TFS
Nice bridge and repurposing of the ties. What about tying the rails together for stability? Can't wait to see the shop with concrete. God bless you 🙏 Stay safe and be well 🙏 🌹🌺🌷
Cool video can't wait till see what the shop is going to turn out like
Hey Daniel you guys are my favorite RUclips channel! I love your videos because I live in the same type of forest land but in Oklahoma county. What type of dog is Bear? I also want to tell you a safe way to pest control that does not use any chemicals! It is also pretty cheap. Ok , here it is. You can use Powdered lime sometimes called AgLime. You sprinkle it on your plants and around them and the lime will get kicked up on the under side of the bug and dries out its insides. It will die quickly. I use this all the time on my garden. I think it is better than chemicals because it is good for the soil and it is easy to wash off of the produce. You may need to put it on again after you water the plants a couple times. I hope that God keeps you safe during this pandemic. I hope to see more of your great videos. Tell Houston That I hope his watermelon patch wins the contest. Keep up the good work!
That was a great 👍 idea and definitely a successful project completed!! You're really a definitely a go getter. The jaws sure made fast work of those railroad ties! I bought quite a few to build my corrals but only used a few. Too bad you live so far away you could have had mine!! Thanks for sharing your day with us 🇺🇸!!
Thanks GP Rents. I love the machinery videos.I love watching them in action
Great instructional on pond/spillway fix.. thank you
The plants on the side help the pond from silting up and the sides will get higher. not as high if you put a log at the edge of the lake but it helps.
Daniel another great one , enjoyed the bridge crossing upgrade.😉👍
Awesome job, even Houston can drive across that! 👍👍👍👍 When you gave the time, and I know it was a different day, I looked at my clock and it was 6:20 EDT 😄 ❤️💜💙💚
Love that little machine! The bridge looks awesome. We have an area that this might work. Thanks for sharing!
I can tell you had a lot of fun with the equipment...have a blessed day 👍😁
Daniel it's perfect ! You did great with it .😄😄
Another fantastic video. Thank you for sharing your time, experiences, and talents with us. Keep it up!
Agree. He does have a lot of talents, doesn't he?!
@@cliffords.8341 And a friendly and neighborly delivery. A truly great channel.
@@cliffords.8341 Also, Daniel doesn't make a big deal of the fact that he's a state trooper. But that's his day job. I think it's important to realize that most people who do that job are good, decent men and women who try very hard to be good at their jobs, and good people in general. In these times, I think it's important to remember that. These people do hard work. It is thankless for the most part. But they're human beings who are doing the best they can. Are there bad apples? YES! But the bad ones are a minority. And we should be thankful for the good ones who put their nuts on the line for us.
@@mattphillips1910 Well put! My mothers brother was a police officer here in Miami Florida from the 50's to the mid 80's. At first he rode a Harley Davidson that didn't have an electric starter. His nickname was ticket happy Thompson! He gave a postal worker a ticket for speeding. His piers told him he shouldn't have done this because he/she was a government employee. They went to court and my uncle said the postal driver is not immune to hitting a kid walking to and from school etc., or causing an accident. The ticket stuck and had to pay a fine along with points on his/her license. Everytime I see a police officer I walk up, shake his/her hand a thank them for their service and to be safe. It's a good feeling doing that and they really appreciate it too. I also do it to our current and retired military personnel too. Its the right thing to do. If more people did this I believe we would be a better country.
That’s a great idea ! Nice low cost bridge. It’ll set in nice one you get some rocks in there an it’ll help leave the spill way open an set that gate you were talking about. 👍
This channel is awesome kids like Houston need to be outside fishing and helping his dad other than the kids in my generation lazy and fortnite congrats arms family hope you all stay like this
Just an idea, you could turn that into a concrete bridge. You already have a good foundation. Thanks for sharing. As always, Be Safe.
That was amazing job you had dun there it was good to see it there 👍👍
Your getting good with the excavator tractor. I can tell you were in lots of fun and getting things done. Be careful.
I love when you bring equipment home and show us what it can do. I've passed on information on equipment in the past to family and friends that needed certain type of work done. Love your videos and you and all of the family. You could call the male miniature donkey Jackson and the female Alexandra or Lexie for short. 😊
Looks Great. Hope you didn't lose any little fish when pulled vegetation out. Putting Welded Wire across Spillway great Idea. As much rains there I'd do it sooner than later lol. Can't wait to see Work Shop. Stay Safe Out There. God Bless and Peace Be With You All ☮️🙏❣️
You must be on vacation again! LOL Pond is looking great!
Good job💪
He did do a good job😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
That was quite entertaining to watch and comical when you took off with the skid steer from GP! You had an excellent point though. You were after all paying for it.
Daniel do you ever have t shirt👕 or hat giveaways? I saw Dutch wearing one. He also says "hi" to Houston.
Thanks for sharing! 💞
We need to fix our creek crossing!
You’re right it’s good to have a good partner to help out.
Enjoy your show and family
Looks good Daniel get you some rebar and stake them down after you add on to it
Looks great Daniel! Kubota sure makes some great equipment!
Yes they do.
@@ArmsFamilyHomestead As long as there not made in China! Pretty much anywhere else is ok.
Pour cement ends level out drive up down it.Fix pond level last look nice
I love those little Bobcat type machines, for NM State Parks, after contractor put in huge slices of sand stone around our man made lake sealed w/bentonite (seals Wells also) we/I make a walkway around lake. Filled it w/crusher fines & leveled, then put 6 X 12 wood beams on the outer edges to contain crusher fines...! =) I'd love to try out one of those mini backhoes someday..!
Looks great Daniel and functional too!
JO JO IN VT 💕😄🇺🇸
We could have used you this week to level our yard awesome big toy there
I don’t know if your property has them big old sand stones in the ground but ours do you should grab a couple big sandstone and make like a waterfall and that will keep the dirt from eroding and you can put your fence in front of it
Nice simple bridge..
Have a good evening 🌻🌻🌻
Where's Houston? Supervising over the concrete project at the barn? LOL! Great video!
Daniel. just a few things that would have helped you later down the line.. the two timbers on each side, I would have dug the trench deeper, added stone on the bottom because railroad ties do rot. the I would had made the two stacks high for nice support.. all the other cross timbers on the top, I would either spike them down or screw them down with long screw. you don't want the to float away if you have terrible storms.. great video my friend.
Ron Kiser
Good job! Love your videos! ❤️❤️❤️
Daniel, I hope that works, but see problems when there is great Amount of rain. It needed to be much higher to protect the bridge from flooding, or washing out, or have a culvert place in a deeper hole where you can put a screen over one end to keep the fish from escaping. Good to get all that veggie out!
Nice job and thank you for your service
Fascinating little project....
Daniel, Gotta tell ya I love some of your toys.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙂🙂🙂
You can drill the ends and put rebar in it that will hold it in place
Keeping it Dutch i like all of has videos and i like your new videos keep up the good work making videos 💯💢👍👍👍
Excellent video Daniel 👍
Back about 1988 or 89 I built a hill out in the corner of my yard that was sort of a half a hex. At that time, I was in fairly good shape and just put a RR tie on my shoulder and went with it. Now days I probably couldn't lift one end of one, let alone go anywhere with it. Oh the joys of getting old. lol!
Awesome machines! I spoke with a guy at GP rents...we are just too far...could do it but cost is out of senior on SS reach...but, love seeing what it can do and wow, that thumb really comes in handy! Great Job...we did find a guy to rent a "medium" track hoe (what we call them), lots of pond clean up needed to be done! Thanks for showing what machines can do and not being a big rig operator
Over here in England they are called Railway Sleepers..... great video
Daniel I would put the fencing at the edge of the lake so the fish won't try to go now the creek and get stuck and can't get back to the lake that way you can get the fence all the way flat on the bottom of you don't in the creek it will have a gap in the center of it . But hey one of my motto's is work smarter not harder. Lol. Y'all be safe out there and as always see you in the next video peace
Yes great video Daniel I love your channel
The difference between men and boys is the size and price of their toys.
Amen! 🧓
Praise god I really. Like. Watching your videos I think that if you take large piles so the. Small fish can. Hide you. Will end. Up. With. Tons of. Fish. Sincerly yours from. Mr.don. williams
Love you guys. Wish I had all the machinery you rent/own
That runoff ditch would look nice . If you built up at the pond and declined large rocks to make a little rapidsor waterfall.
Should get a 20ft x 24 inch triple wall plastic culvert pipe. Lightly dredge into overflow ground, lay culvert on top and fill with clay then thin layer of rock. The type of culvert i am trying to describe has a grate you can add to the side that will keep the fish in the pond. This pipe should cost you less than $300
B C I was thinking a culvert tile too..
Awesome work
Well done!!
Run you a leg screw down on each end and allow space between your ties. If you get a heavy rain and the ties are just laying there down the creek they go. Wish you was closer I've got bundle after bundle of ties on the back of my property. That's what I used for corner post and gate post around my place
Lag screw/bolt even
News Break! Women love them men toys too...lol. I love to get on those Kabota toys! I got a small retaining wall to build and a couple places to put ties in to stop wash! Yep Daniel, You made up my mind on what toy I need! I love your channel! You've always got some big projects going on! You operate that equipment like a woman operates an iron! Hahaha. God Bless y'all...🙏❤💪🇺🇸😀
AWESOME work.been nice see Houston in these vigits
Loved this!
Need to put the ties the other direction...parallel to the stream of water. I guess you did it the Oklahoma way! lol
Great channel best channel on RUclips
Hi looking good,nice bridge
Yep, work smarter, not harder, thx for the vid.
You should give Dutch a business card so you can level his yard a little bit more
LMBO!
Love your videos! God Bless!
Boys and there toys you are enjoying playing with your excavator job well done.👍👍🇦🇺❤️
Cool video and content thanks!!!😎👍🏼❤️
All that aquatic vegetation would make great compost
way to rock and roll that equipment :-)
