My friends were prolific on that coup, they would do the betting shops in between bits of work. Some of them would catch the bus and if William hill weren't holding much they would go up the road and do Ladbrokes. They wouldn't take me, said I was too young so I thought I'l show them. I got ready and went solo, I waited till they were about to shut and checked that not too many favourites won so there was more money. I walked in, they were three handed behind the jump this was it but I couldn't get the words out, I never took into account the amount of front it takes to stick someone up, it sounds easy but until you're there you just don't know, I was so embarassed but it was a lesson learnt.
