As a former Dior Beauty employee at a department store I can easily say this advent calendar doesn’t worth 550$.. Everything except the candle are already giving out to the customers as a free gift with purchase and doesn’t have any value. Packaging is gorgeous nobody can say otherwise but like I said personally I wouldn’t pay 550$ for what you get🤷🏼♂️ + I love your content ❤️

This is a *massive* improvement from the Chanel advent calendar. But if they were gonna include foundation they should've had a mini questionnaire on the site to ask about people's skin tone and then added the product that best fit them.

@@HawkinaBox I believe you are missing the point of my comment. Luxury Brands are supposed to do things like that. Especially one like Chanel. However, I agree that it could’ve been better, maybe more expensive but with better products, some of them honestly look cheap, like the “bracelet”.
People that purchase this advent calendar are doing it for the love of the calendars. Before I discovered the advent calendar ladies of youtube, I had no idea this was even a thing. As for the value, as this lovely lady has said, the buyer decides what its worth to them. I personally wouldn't spend the amount of money for these calendars that some do. But they probably wouldn't spend money on some of the things I purchase either. For some, this is a splurge that is much deserved. Some just love the fun of opening each day. No matter the reason, or the cost, if it brings a little bit of joy to the person receiving it, that is worth any amount of money. Smiles are priceless.

I don’t feel like an advent calendar is ever worth $500. I’m not everyone, though! I like the calendar! I would like to try the new Ja’dore fragrance and the new formulation of Miss Dior. I wasn’t fond of it before. I love Absolutely Blooming!
Theyre never worth the money, you'd be better off buying a few full size products that u want and getting a bunch of free samples

Ok, so… we learned that the $500-900 advent calendars are full of samples. I’d rather go get my full stuff items from Dior and Chanel rather than “hope” something decent comes out of a door. Phew.
It's actually the best out of them all. You should see the other luxury advents they would break your heart and probably drive you to despair with disappointment.
I guess it's nice if you want to try out all kinds of Dior products additionally to having a very well-designed advent calendar. It certainly gives you more value than the Chanel calendar.
Unless they are personalizing your shade, it's silly to include foundation samples. Pretty box, better than Chanel, but way too expensive IMHO.
Advent calendars are fun but I feel like the best result would be to pair up with a friend set a budget and/or a theme and make each other a calendar. Especially if it’s a close friend you will most likely get stuff you like or appreciate because they know what you like? Yeah idk I spent 4€ on a chocolate calendar this year

A lot of these things are samples. Also, you can always get rollerball perfumes if you don't wear a lot of it or switch too much to enjoy a full bottle.
I really like minis because I’m able to try things out before I buy the full size. Then also when I buy the full size and I want to travel I just refilled the minis out and go about my day.

The Dior Advent calendar is definitely beautiful. I would have a hard time throw the calendar away after a while. I actually live the black one. It is stunning. The blue is beautiful as well.

Incredible you were able to get hold of this. I saw it in store today and they told me they could show to clients but not sell until beginning of November. I am hesitating because I don't like the makeup/nail polish that comes with it. I will not use any of it. Apparently the inspiration is that the DIOR shop in Paris will open in December and this is the invitation to discover the store. The store is the artwork of the calendar.
Thank you for purchasing this advent box. I was wondering what was in it but it way out my price range. It’s beautiful and I love the detail Dior does on their products.
Compared to the Chanel rip-off I would def go for this Dior instead. Is it worth $550.....don't think so. They should have added drawers inside like you said, and maybe another color than red every year for the nail-polish and lipstick. :)

Not sure if I could ever justify paying that much money for an advent calendar but that neutral shade of lipstick is absolutely beautiful. I've never tried anything from Dior but I'm very interested in trying their powder no powder one of these days. I've heard great things about that & their lipsticks. Great video👍

I never get Dior advent calendars because my skin doesn’t like their perfume formula, so it was fun to watch and see what’s in it! Thanks for making the video. Looks good. One buys these for fun, not value, so I have no issue with the contents. And I’m 2N so those shades would have worked for me!
I love the color scheme & the idea of trying products I am not familiar with but don't think it is worth $550. That being said, Chanel's advent calendar is around $900 making this one " a bargain" 😂. Thanks for sharing Cindy.
I love everything in this calendar, just not for this price point!! I've tried a few of the Dior scents in the past and enjoyed them, but it was only through the sample or mini sizes. I'm finally at a point in my life where I could probably splurge and treat myself to a few of their products every once in a blue moon, maybe a lipstick or a larger size bottle of perfume, but I sure wouldn't want to fall in love with any of their skincare because I am not willing to shell out that kind of $$ on a regular basis. 😳😭🤣
Is Dior best out of Gucci, Chanel, LV ? I am not into luxury brands so don't know anything but compare to others I hvn't really heard anything too negative about Dior and there packaging is quite elegant.

Dior is i think the best of the high end calendars. Rose is my favorite scent, so I would have loved this one. Just not in the cards for me ( fixed income), but I enjoy watching you unbox all of these beautiful calendars.

I am here to tell you that this is a pretty decent Advent Calendar. You should see Chanel's😱😱😱😱. Last year's illustration was great. I agree better than this year's. Great fun reveal
In 2020 i bought the Dior adventcalender and i enjoyed it so much! The snowglobe, the skin care and mini perfumes...it all was so nice! This year the calender is more expensive but some mini' s are a bit disapointing. Im very glad i had last years one!

I'm hooked on your advent calendar unboxing vids. Since these are for women I wouldn't like to get the men's fragrances. For the price you pay it should contain more full size products. I miss like a good eyeliner or any other festive makeup product for the season. But yes, it sure beats the Chanel one.

I love your dress, it does match the Dior Advent Calendar well and you look very pretty. The design and art of this calendar is interesting. The skin care products are wonderful! Foundation does not match everyone's skin tone so that can be given away to someone who could use it. The second one may work for me and it has sun protection. Candle is wonderful for winter and very pretty. I too wish it contained a snow globe. Much more useful than the Chanel Sticker Calendar.

Be a little forgiving with advent calendars this year. They are likely having supply chain issues. Chanel was just a dumpster fire, though.

I find it interesting that these makeup advent calendars don't have an option at purchase to state your base shade. That way they can do a calendar geared towards colors that would suit you. Just a thought.
