But it boiles down to this: -Both companys make Prototype -Army tests prototypes, finds General Motors one to be better -The Army gives more development time to improve the prototypes -GM basically does nothing with the extra time -Chrysler improves their Prototype -Chrysler prototype wins second round of tests -->Chrysler now has the better Tank, gets contract
I'm a PC player, and I have both the GM and the Chrysler on my account. Back when they were doing account transfers like 3 years ago, I jumped aboard, already having the Chrysler on my account, then buying the GM after. I've gotta say, the Chrysler excels where the GM falls short, but both are great in a single lineup.
I can't think of a reason this tank sits at 9.0 while the GM sits at 9.3 other than Gaijin forgot this tank existed when they raised the XM-1 to 9.3 since it's actually better than the GM model.
i have it with a pc account. I preordered the game on Xbox when it came out then about 2-3 years ago i got gaijin to transfer my xbox data to PC. so i have access to marketplace with xbox original content.
With the XM803 at 9.0, it makes for such a nice combo with so many downtiers. Too bad not on PC. Also the XM 1 Chrysler should have similar armor to the M1 Abrams least in the turret armor. The GM and Chrysler should also get their smoke grenades. Also fix M735 ... though for every accepted bug report it takes ages for them to care.
iirc that original source had hilarious mentions of "lockheed bribing germany to buy f-16s" stated as if they were fact and a bunch of other blatantly untrue stuff
@@semicooperative7188 ive killes a bunch of 72s, 90s, and 80s,2a4s, 2a6s with the gm, only 3 times i havent. poor shots on the move, on my part. I dont fear russian tanks because beside america, russia is my secondary nation.

Ironically this and the GM version would probably sell better now with the recent BR changes. The KVT doesn't get a forgiving matchmaker anymore.
I disagree, i started grinding the american tree as my third nation now and its an incredibly good tank. Its good in every way except for firepower.
@ The constant uptiers to 11.3 and 11.7 say otherwise. As you said, it lacks good firepower, and since the BR changes M774 performs even worse.
