Sir, you have taken a great approach to spread the sweet sounds of flute across the world. Most sub-continental prodigies do not share their experiences in such a open place. I saw that western maestros take steps to teach their instruments on a free basis. Resources for learning instruments like guitars, violins are available out there online. But this is not true in case of Indian maestros. You have taken the step. You have my respect, sir. 👏

That is a very nice discussion u have started. It is true in this region custom is not to open the knowledge to others. So this is very difficult for new one to fins a teaching. But we r lucky that our Guruji thinks knowledge should be free, we are trying our best to spread his teaching and knowledge to others. Thanks for being with us.

    Thank You Murtaza Kabir Murad.
I bought my 1st flute from the street seller when I was 16 year old. I practiced it for few years without any lessons to make various sounds.
After marriage I lost all my flutes during my house moving. I never had flute after marriage, recently when I turned 50 I bought flute from the street during my vist to Banaras. Initially I had struggeld blowing it after 30mts of continous trail I was able to figure out to make some sounds.
I was exploring best Flute channel all over RUclips finally I got to your channel it is the best one all over the world. It was created most professionally, well designed, less time more content to practice as name state easy flute you made it simple. Especially you have second camera this is what I was looking all over it is available in you lesson. Keep up.

For the first time, I found a great school. I find your basic lessons very helpful. I am grateful to your dedications specially for the beginners. I never took any formal flute lesson but have been playing for many years. I have been holding flutes with finger tips years on and off (which is wrong) and currently having difficulty adapting into the proper way as you have shown. But I see that it is possible with commitment and daily practice. Thank you for your lessons and hope to meet you personally one day.

Dear Sir, thank you so much for all these videos and your excellent teaching ! its so kind from you ! I have bought my first bansuris, one in A and the other in E and after two weeks trying to make one sound I've been successful at the end ! hearing Indian classical music for 50 years ( I am 67) I'm also playing the Irish and kaval flute from Bulgaria with is also quite difficult at the beginning. But the sensuality or the bansuri live nearby me for many years with the great master hariprassad Chaurasia and his nephew Rakesh and of course many others. I know the sagacity we need about learning Indian music to go slowly practicing everydays and now I think, thanks to you, I've found a good master. I'm a composer for orchestra for many years and I know what patience mean.
Just two questions: the bansuri in E I've bought is of a great quality but no seems to be slightly tune as yours for the higher notes , that it come from the orientation of the mouth ?
2nd question: some players incline the bansuri slightly down the left ? in this way the neck is less tense Does this have any influence on the accuracy of the sound?
From the south of France please receive my warmer congratulations for all the work you have done for our best pleasure. Wish you the best. respectfully PHILIPPE
see orchestral work "1972" a tribute to JMc Laughling by Philippe GODELLE on RUclips when you'll have time to thank you.

Hello Sir. Starting at 5:00 you say you can create two different sounds while pressing same hole. You achieve this by blowing with lot of pressure and little pressure. No matter what I do, the sound is same. I am using A scale, 23.75 inch Bansuri.

both the sounds u produce are in low or high octave? check fingering, there should be no leakage.

@@EasyFluteSchool Thank you. Now I am able to produce sounds in low and high octave (still need more practice). And I am more careful about placing finger securely on holes. Keep up the great work!

We are delighted to receive such warm expression from Chile, the country of Pablo Neruda! We read a lot of his poetry translated in Bangla Language. We are happy to know that your husband want to learn Bamboo flute which i say it here as 'Banshi'! Our Guruji has not made any tutorial on any kind of drum yet, if people are interested, may be some day he will. You may watch lesson number 10, where he discussed Tabla. Love from Bangladesh!

Amazing video, thank you. Any tips how to play high and low octave? I don't seem to be able to distinct it. Other than the change of pressure, do my lips also change or perhaps the direction I blow?
